The best restaurants in East of England

Mi esposa y yo pedimos un sándwich, huevo mayo y un atún mayo, patatas fritas, ensalada y ensalada de col a un lado. Ambos vinieron en pan espeso fresco, las limaduras eran abundantes y la ensalada de col era hermosa. Tal cambio para pagar por algo y conseguir cada centavo. Muy recomendable este lugar!

Wow - what a wonderful restaurant. First class service and outstanding food - what a truly amazing experience. A lovely atmosphere from the moment we stepped through the door.

Really nice gluten free ciabatta with all the trimmings. Also GF scone and chocolate cake available. Lovely setting. Clean and tidy.

Me and my wife always used to come here for a classic burger and chips and we absolutely loved it, best burger in Peterborough and the best chips also. We came back today after a long time not coming and nothing has changed apart from it being better than last time, fantastic service, atmosphere lovely and relaxing. We would highly recommend this place, best burger in Peterborough. Also massive shout out to 'Azair' for his 5 star service, what a great guy.

Attended a tasting menu for valentines evening g . Food was lovely and the staff where very attentive but unfortunately although private dining there was another couple who was there and was very very loud and completely controlled the whole evening. Couldn't hear what the staff was telling us about the courses and didn't even have a conversation with my partner as i couldn't hear him. Considering the cost I would have thought the staff could gave told them to keep the noise down as other people in the joining resturant also mentioned the noise as this was also our 41st wedding g anniversary it totally spoil our evening I know it wasn't the resturant fault but I think the manager should have step in. Another couple who was there also didn't enjoy the experience either because of the same problem

Wow, amazing gem of a restaurant! We visited to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday and we were part of a large party. The service was excellent and food absolutely delicious. My husband and I both had the fish & chips, huge portions and very fresh. Other guests in our party had a roast dinner, once again, huge portions and very fresh. I highly recommend The Seafood Shack! I will be back!!!

What a lovely place! Staff could not do enough for my friend and I. We had afternoon tea, all home made and just delicious! Lovely selection of drinks, freshly made food. Cutest China! Will definitely return! Thank you 😊

Muy decepcionado con el # 22. Si bien algunos platos eran sólidos (el pan era genial), muchos eran mediocres y a menudo no equilibrados con una tendencia a agregar más ingredientes innecesariamente. Hicimos el vuelo de vino Discovery que fue excepcionalmente decepcionante en calidad. Además, los vertidos fueron inconsistentes (algunos en el partido apenas recibieron una cucharada y otros solo una fracción más) y excepcionalmente pequeños. Solo había un rojo servido que era terrible. Tampoco había ningún plato de carne roja que parecía extraño para un menú degustación completo. Tristemente el foco parecía estar en el show más que en la sustancia; no como el #22 de antaño. Una comida excepcionalmente cara para un pan muy bueno.

We had such a fantastic experience at this pub over the weekend! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome—especially the owner, who was so friendly, fun, and genuinely accommodating. They went above and beyond by popping out to the shops just to get more Aperol for us (due to a delivery issue) which was such a thoughtful gesture. On top of that, even though they don’t typically serve cocktails, they kindly made me a delicious mocktail since I don’t drink alcohol. It was really appreciated and showed how much they care about their customers. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that left us all full and happy. We sat out on the patio in the sunshine, and it was just the perfect setting. All in all, this place has an amazing atmosphere, service, and great food. We’ll definitely be back!

We were surprised by how small and intimate it was, a couple of dishes were off the menu due to supply issues but that can't be helped. All the food was freshly cooked and the service was excellent, in a small place it can be overbearing but it wasn't at all. Tucked in the original side streets this place is a gem!

This restaurant does not fail to deliver on special occasions, especially birthday. My friend received an on the house dessert, hand written card, and a rose! These small touches go a very long way and I hope this restaurant continued success. Our new fav for family occassions

We were very excited to try out Sam’s pizza after reading good reviews however despite staff being lovely the food was extremely bland and lacked toppings. The crust was rock hard and felt like it had been sitting there a while. Overall nice place but not worth the insane price. Additionally the whole building was filled with flies.

We have visited the restaurant and ordered online many many times and I have to say that we are never left disappointed!! Every order is perfection and so delicious we just keep coming back for more! Chef and his incredible team are so attentive and nothing is ever to much trouble. Safe to say we will keep returning for a lifetime!
