The best restaurants serving Turkish food in East of England

We’ve visited twice now and both times were excellent . The place was really busy which was nice to see . Service was not rushed at all . We were served by Lisa who was very accommodating and professional If I had to say one thing I’d change it would be to dim the lighting in the back of the restaurant but that’s just me ….. people like to see what they’re eating . First class

Freshly cooked food, very generous portions. Friendly, helpful staff. Great atmosphere definitely worth a visit, you won't be disappointed. It's a restaurant you will want to visit reguarly. Highly recommended.

It’s a kebab place with traditional Turkish staff and really good Turkish food. Big portions and v fresh salad. I never complain and use it as I hardly cook when I have to stay here.

I received a warm pleasant welcome and a smile. I could see the premises was spotlessly clean, with a 5 hygiene rating on the door. I knew by the customers coming in that the food was going to be perfect.. I would definitely recommend this establishment.. and just to add it gets 10/10 for price, quality and friendliness

So I thought I’d try this place today as passed it so many times and today 08/03/24 thought I’d treat the family to it and it really wasn’t disappointing because they was so busy cooking everything fresh to order we waited around 20 mins didn’t mind this as we could sit in the little table area and catch up on everything while waiting for our food to be cooked the food arrived and was cooked fresh and was a good size portion off food that filled me up and I’m a big eater and it’s very reasonably priced the staff was polite and friendly and all in all it was a lovely experience with the family I would definitely recommend this place to everyone…… I think in my personal opinion what we loved was the little table area they had because we could sit as a family and catch up. With what we all been up to BUT it’s to open to the cold and we was pretty cold I personally think and I would make this area enclosed to be able to keep some heat in for customers wanting to eat in this area. But still next time I could maybe put an extra layer on.

We had a takeaway meal for a total of 13 people. The food was excellent, delivered on time and the service was brilliant. Would thoroughly recommend the Shish for top rate service.

We where all welcomed and looked after so well. The service was attentive without being overwhelming. The food was 1st class. We where a party of 8 with adults and children and everyone thought the food was delicious and have vowed to return soon.

wow , excellent service , positive atmosphere , best lamb shish ive ever had ! so juicy and tasty and reasonable with the prices . Definitely gonna go there soon again with my family

So this family outdid there self's tonight on a special request for a ufc fight and we'll i have never had a kebab like it x2 18inch pizza boxies of lamb donner cheesey chips and a shed load of chicken donner. Wow it was amazing price was amazing the food was incredible and I have now desided I will never go anywhere else. I will post a picture on there review site of this food.
