Myra Turkish Restaurant & Bar in Castle Point

Went to celebrate with Friends for their their Son’s 18th Birthday! All the staff (especially the gentleman on the bar!) went above and beyond to make the afternoon a brilliant one. Thank you so much guys and thank you to the owner/manager who is probably one of the most welcoming and friendly Restaurant owners/managers I’ve ever met! We will 💯 be back!!

We had the very reasonably priced lunch menu. Friendly staff, good food and service, entertaiing barman all made a very enjoyable lunch. No hesitation in recommending.

An excellent meal from their lunchtime menu with generous, very well cooked portions. Attentive staff made it a very pleasant time. We had not planned to go but were looking for a lunch venue and the menu was very appetising.

Popped in for a late lunch as everywhere was closing. Food was of a really good quality and quantity and arrived quickly. Complementary pitta bread was nice touch and bonus was 25% of bill. They do this monday to friday for lunch. Fabulous value.

Visited Myra for husbands birthday with our 2x kids. Service was lovely & all the food was delicious 😋 kids meals were huge. Waiter couldn’t do enough for us. Great price - will definitely return.

Booked a table for a special occasion with some requirements, the staff were nothing but amazing, fantastic hosts and went above and beyond to look after us. Bread and dips are provided whilst waiting for the food to be brought out, staff ensure you are topped up, the main courses were ncredible, the meat cooked beautifully, the lamb melt in the mouth, juicy and flavourful chicken and salad and rice was fresh. Portions are decent and worth the prices, The presentation was great and the design of the interior is fantastic. This restaurant is a 10/10 from me and will definitely be returning and recommending

We dropped in with no reservation - 7 adults and 5 kids. What a lovely experience and we’ll definitely go again next time we are in Canvey. The staff could not have been more friendly, helpful and attentive. Food was all prepared fresh and was delicious. Lovely decor. Very good value for money. Would highly recommend it.

We booked not knowing what to expect, but on entering the restaurant the atmosphere and decor were great .They had a singer who added to the lively atmosphere.The food was amazing and the service was that of a top restaurant.Food was piping hot and well presented .The lamb casserole was delicious and my husband had the seafood platter everyone enjoyed their meals with no complaints at all .The restaurant is situated on the seafront with parking nearby.We will definitely book again.I would definitely recommend this restaurant to those looking for a good night out .

First visit and we had a great time! Staff are friendly, decor and ambience is great, restaurant was very popular. Cannot fault a single thing with the food and drinks, cocktails tasted strong of the alcohol too :) The bread and dips are lovely, I had passion fruit frozen daiquiri, mojito & the dessert choc espresso martini. Sucuk & halloumi mixed starter was fab! Calarmari looked great, big portion mains with fresh sides (prawn shish and sea bream) full of flavour!! Got a complimentary drink which was very nice. It took a while to call someone for bill but the restaurant was so busy maybe just short staffed for one night. The prices are SO reasonable considering how much we had, would definitely come back again and for the midweek lunch deal. Thanks for a great evening!

Thanks Myra for a enjoyable evening Food is 10/10 Service 10/10 Decor 10/10 Price 8/10 The only one small criticism is the price of house wine Had a bottle of house white wine and 2 small glasses £35 Which in my eyes is a little bit steep I never understand why restaurants can’t give you a really cheap bottle with your meal There are some really good ones out there believe me! Being a bit cheeky here even if you went to Morrison’s they do 2 bottles for £10 And you could even mark up 300% Must admit though you are doing something right the place was nearly full on a Sunday evening I will be visiting again soon though I did enjoy the meal

Ferdi and his team where amazing the vegetable mousaka was apparently 11 out of 10, I had the sea bass which was amazing; can't believe it is 25% off at lunch time, so it was all very reasonable.

Cannot rate this place high enough. From the food to the staff and the whole ambience of the place its perfect for any occasion and you're guaranteed to come away with a smile on your face. Jayda is by far the best mixologist in Essex so make sure you include a cocktail with your meal. Maybe even ask her to blend you your own special one for your special night out. Myra Magic. The place that Canvey has been waiting for forever is finally here. Our favourite place to bring the little ones as they love the freedom of exploring the beautiful decor and accents. Don't forget to stroke the elephant statues as you leave so you can take the magic home with you. One visit will never be enough. Fine Turkish cuisine cooked and served by the friendliest people. A little slice of Turkey on our little Island.❤️

Dining here was a very lovely experience. The platters are affordable and the food is succulent, juicy, and enjoyable. Service was excellent, all the staff is so attentive & polite. I will definitely come back. High recommend it.
