The best restaurants in Castle Point East of England

Gem of a restaurant food was amazing, the staff attentive and decor was pleasant. I decided to come to this restaurant after reading the great reviews so took the plunge and so glad I did. Me and my husband will definitely be returning food was lovely. Highly recommend.

Viset world wide wings today and was left disappointed, chicking was dry I guess over cooked, mozzarella dips tasted stale, very rarely I turn food away but today was one sorry guys that was not cool

I happened to be at a loose end in Canvey Island, saw a banner advertising Anita’s Tearoom, and went to see what it was like - it was worth the diversion along the sea wall! I had the 10 item breakfast, and it was served quickly and in a friendly fashion, and was very tasty (special recommendation for having Irish White pudding on the menu which was a very pleasant surprise) Reasonably priced and enjoyable. Certainly set me up for the day!

Visited on Saturday lunchtime with a walking group. Really nice small local cafe - excellent snack type lunch. Friendly, helpful staff/owner. Sensible prices. (Helpful with advance booking, table ready etc - nice to see !!)

This is a great family run bar, drinks are well priced and the family that own it are fantastic company, Sunday afternoon is always great in the bar with live singers from 4pm till 7pm

Spotted when passing so thought we would give it a try, and was not disappointed. Great place, nice people, food great really enjoyable. Will defo go again

First visit we was on our way to another cafe but popped in here , friendly staff and welcoming, this was a very good breakfast we sat outside looking at the scenery boats etc . I had the smaller breakfast bacon ,egg, sausage ,hash browns mushrooms ,and beans cuppa tea cost £5.00 hubby had the bigger breakfast , it was cooked well tasted good , good quality bacon and sausage. Really enjoyed it . Good value . The cafe was very clean . And also the loos . Would recommend. And will be returning .

Just had a takeaway and was absolutely gorgeous - everything about it, the vegetable rice was very good one of the best ive had, chicken tikka dhansak was very tasty, we will definitely be coming back 😋

Got two lamb beyti dishes to take away, food was nice shame it was missing the salad, I think the serving size would have been bigger if I had of eaten in, 7 small pieces of lamb to a meal just didn’t fill us up and for £40 quid you’d think it would Did receive the Turkish bread and some dips however so that was nice
