Excellent breakfast omelette, good coffee.

The owners and staff are extremely friendly. The food was lovely. Have been a few times and will be going back. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

Best Cafe in Thundersley. I came in after dropping my grandson to school. It's a family run business which shows with the customer service and great food. I especially recommend their Rocky road biscuit cake. Highly recommend

Great atmosphere. I walked in and cried, two days in a row. Jet lagged, walking by a vague sense of direction rather than actual knowledge and cold, my Mum recently deceased and Dad left searching for her. The staff are compassionate and the food is excellent. Thank you.

Went here for breakfast on Saturday morning, the food was served hot. Friendly staff and good food, reasonably priced.

After sitting down someone soon came over and took our order, they were polite and friendly. The food came fairly quickly and was tasty as far as cafe's go, the interior looks fresh and modern and the atmosphere is pleasant. What you would expect from a cafe, probably the best in the area!

Was told about this cafe, and glad we tried it. Had Panni with chicken, Bacon & Cheese, crisp and generous side salad, compliments to Lady who prepared it. Owner was very pleasant, it was clean and tidy. So if your passing, try the Big Breakfast aswell, you wont be Dissapointed.....:)

A friendly welcome by the owner and the staff and a nice chat with him whilst our order was prepared. Our food was once again delicious, cooked perfectly using really good quality ingredients. A great range of lactose free milks, delicious looking cakes, friendly welcoming atmosphere all have us eager to return. For the two of us to have breakfasts with real coffee it came to about £20, which for this quality of produce and level of service we are more than happy to pay. I’m willing to travel many miles for a place like this, but luckily it is right on our doorstep.

Today I ordered a takeaway of smashed avocado on toast topped with poached eggs. It was presented very nicely and tasted even better. During these covid times they have really helped the local community by supplying lovely food day in day out. The staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you. If you like cake then you won’t be disappointed!!!!

I had just ordered food from the village eatery and it's outstanding how amazing the food is! I would definitely recommend this place to enjoy a lovely breakfast. I have visited this place before and the food always got better! The staff are always polite and they never get anything wrong.

Builders breakfast highly recommended, poached eggs were spot on 👍🏻👍🏻 Coffee was good too. Service friendly. I particularly enjoyed seeing Buddy the Elf. 😄

My family and I visited for a breakfast treat and we were not disappointed The staff were welcome, friendly and COVID safe They offered a good choice of food, including some healthy ones if you’re trying to be good but still want a treat, all tasted lovely. Their coffee’s are worth the trip alone and for those wanting the extra treat, a selection of yummy cakes are on offer too Can’t wait to come back

If you want great home cooked food in a warm friendly atmosphere then this is the best place to be. Highly recommend it to everyone to go and try for yourselves.

The man who works in there was extremely rude to us, said “you can’t leave that there” referring to our newborn who was asleep in her pram! So we left! Won’t be stepping foot in there again.

The Village Eatery is a great place for home cooked snacks and meals. The menu is comprehensive, portions large and the breakfasts, served all day, are delicious and cater for all tastes. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who will always adapt the dish to suit the customer. If you have the capacity after eating take home a slice of the selection of home made cakes, delicious. You won't regret a visit to this eatery and there is a free car park opposite.

Use to love this place had breakfast several times and lunches, but after the attitude of both men who run the cafe myself and friends will no longer be using this place. Other customer also made comments about the men and their attitude, they are usually really friendly, today they looked like they had the hump with each other and was taking it out on customers. We all have off day but don't take it out on your customers because we won't return.

Lovely fresh cooked food served by friendly helpful staff. They were very obliging when requesting food for my 1yr old grandson. We visit quite often.

We'd heard good reports about this place, so my son, partner and their 2 year old went for breakfast. Even though the place was full, we were seen and our order taken almost immediately and our large breakfasts were served within 10 or 15 minutes. The food was really good quality, thick bacon, very tasty sausages, all well cooked. Very attentive, friendly service. So good, we couldn't resist returning the next day!! Just as good! We will be back, many times!

Love this place. Go here almost every weekend on a Saturday for our breakfast. Food is amazing and lots of it. Very friendly family run eatery, very clean and always really busy. Would definetely recommend if you fancy a fab breakfast and a good price.

Love this place highly recommend, the staff are very friendly, food is amazing and comes out quick. The breakfast is best and fills you up for the rest of the day. Only sad part is they are closed on a Sunday and a Monday they are my days off witch means I can’t visit no more.

Lunch here with a friend and the food is very good. The omelette was full of mushrooms and the jacket potato with cheese very tasty but would have like a bigger portion of coleslaw with it.

Really enjoyed our first visit to the Village Eatery! We had a soy latte, oat latte (coconut and almond milk also available) chips and a lemon vegan cupcake. Staff were super friendly, fast service and the coffees were delicious. Will definitely be visiting again

Cannot rate this place highly enough. Premises are clean. Staff always friendly and attentive. Food is well cooked, good quality, well presented and good value.

Perfect for allergy people. Staff are really helpful and understand what milk allergies are and what products they are in - seems simple but most get this wrong. Awesome Almond Late and a great milk free fry up. Oat, Almond, Coconut and Soya Milk on their menu. They also have a decent coffee machine not just a kettle! Simple things amaze me lol Will be eating here again, now we have found somewhere local who can cater for us easily.

This is by fare the best cafe iv been to. The guys who own it are so friendly the service is quick, the quality of the food is amazing, every time me my husband have a day of we are down there. The breakfast is the best. Highly recommend best cafe in thundersly even beats Leigh on seas cafes.

Wow, I wasn't expecting this to be a perfect lunch. Between my coeliac requirements and the need to avoid a few other foods as well, I often find cafes and restaurants to be stressful and/or problematic. Not here! They completely understood what I needed/wanted and came up with the most gorgeous and delicious salad! And everyone else's food looked great, too. Clean, friendly, helpful - with fabulous food! Can't wait to go back...

Popped in for a bit of lunch with my mum. Cafe was spotlessly clean. We got served straight away and our sandwiches were fresh and delicious. Staff friendly, will definitely be going back.

The owners are so nice and the food is consistently fresh, tasty and very well presented. The menu is varied and caters for all tastes. We have eaten here on numerous occasions and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Clean inside and the tables are set out well. The menu is good and the food was quite quick and the very tasty. I will definitely be returning. The only thing I would say is that my dad was waiting up at the counter ready to pay for quite sometime but other then that - lovely place to eat and relax.

A large cooked English breakfast for less than £8 that’s both freshly cooked and of brilliant quality. Plenty of people in there on a Sunday morning which speaks volumes. Great coffee and great service by the two guys in there.

We have enjoyed a couple of breakfasts here and both times have been most impressed by both the quality of the food and cleanliness of the cafe, thy this combined with the friendly efficient service made the visit a most pleasant.

Been here a couple of times. Always received great service and they go beyond their means to accommodate my 'fussy eater' friend. I noticed they are also very child friendly and also supply 'plastic' knives and forks for the younger clientele! Such a lovely place with great food (recommend the granary bread!) and staff!

The cafe was taken over 12/13 weeks ago now! We have visited several times since and each time the food as been great , the staff are very friendly nothing is to much trouble! The cafe is very clean and tidy ....it’s nice to see the new owners take pride in what they do ..
