The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Castle Point East of England

Great first time experience food was delicious, we normally use another take away but they closed while on holiday. I highly recommend and they have a 5⭐ hygiene rating which is important to me.

A typical Chinese takeaway shop. It is faiy expensive, but the food is always good, hot and the place is clean. One of the plus sides is you can watch the chefs as they prepare and cook the food as there is a window into the kitchen. Service was fairly fast, and the staff were pleasant and polite. Definitely recommend the pancake rolls (which were stuffed full) and special chow mein.

Greasy over seasoned chow mein with the worst scraps of so called meat that I wouldn’t even give to my dog, my wife and father in law had sweet and sour chicken and rice which was literally a dry old grissley chicken breast with no vegetables or pineapple in like normal places serve, that you just poured sweet and sour sauce over. All three of us left our meals as they were sub standard. We will never return to this establishment again and advise people to take caution before using them.

Never tried New Manderin before have seen other reviews , some really damming but we thought we would give them a chance ! Big mistake we ordered set meal for one which was sweet sour chicken , egg fried rice and chicken chop suey . The suey was bland and tasteless, the rice omg , terrible ! ...my wife had sweet sour chicken and egg fried rice, the rice again terrible!. Meal for one cost over £ 13.00 and sweet and sour chicken £12.00 ish! ,may aswell chucked money down drain .

beautiful food, tasted great, however could do with being hotter. overall very enjoyable. 😃

Utterly disappointed with how we was treated, food turned up up soggy tasteless and full of oil phoned back to complain was told we could have another delivery to see if any better and agin the same food turned up was then told we could have a refund and how sorry they were was told to make sure we keep the food which we did hours went past no refund the next evening we phone back to ask where the refund is and was told we was never allowed a refund £50 worth of Chinese still sitting on the kitchen side to be picked up was spoken to horrendously no apology nothing so no food and no refund discusting really wouldn’t use this place I know loads of people myself that have had same problems and will also not be returning utterly shocking the customer service is discusting and so is the food if I could score lower I would

Much improved food quality from 2 years ago with new owner. Like most Chinese takeaways, the same menu for the last 60 years.

started off with 45 mins delivery time and food got delivered over an hour later, we get to the food, most of the stuff ive ordered was not what i wanted/expected to be. Im not a person like that but mate, so frustrating .. was given loads of positive reviews about it and was so looking forward to trying but after the experience i got today i wont be ordering again, hope i havent hurt anyones feelings with my review, we live and learn 🍻🤝
