Utterly disappointed with how we was treated, food turned up up soggy tasteless and full of oil phoned back to complain was told we could have another delivery to see if any better and agin the same food turned up was then told we could have a refund and how sorry they were was told to make sure we keep the food which we did hours went past no refund the next evening we phone back to ask where the refund is and was told we was never allowed a refund £50 worth of Chinese still sitting on the kitchen side to be picked up was spoken to horrendously no apology nothing so no food and no refund discusting really wouldn’t use this place I know loads of people myself that have had same problems and will also not be returning utterly shocking the customer service is discusting and so is the food if I could score lower I would

This outfit service and food is Not good i would advise not to use them, they rely on u not complaining. If you like food, stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chicken Hong Kong style was absolutely disgusting. My husband and I couldn’t eat the slimy chicken and raw vegetables. What a waste if £30+

What type of chicken is in your curries? is it soya chicken or was it boiled, it didnt taste right what ever it was; the onions in chinese curry are normally crunchy no crunch in yours, The prawn crackers tasted like the oil was old. shame because i was really hungry after being out all day but most of it went in bin only thing any good rice.

Had Chinese meals from here for at least the last 25 years. Always consistently delicious can't fault them.

Welcome Inn Canvey Island - absolutely disgusting meal. No taste, boiled, sloppy. Gave them opportunity to put it right and they were not interested. Family 4 and only a little eaten. Went in bin. Absolutely disgusting in these difficult times.

Excellent food. This is a takeaway with home delivery. I had their chicken curry full of tender chicken pieces with onions and peas. Their sauce is amazing and full of flavour without being too hot. Highly recommend. Think this is a family run takeaway with cheerful smiling staff. Not sure if they still have it but when you go in they have a gorgeous fish tank with huge fish in there and papers on the side so you can read them whilst waiting for your food. Highly recommend and has been there for years 30 I believe as I used them when my children were young and they are now in their 40’s. In fact talking about them I think I will order a takeaway this evening.

Wide range of dishes, all cooked to order. Friendly and helpful staff. Good size portions at easonable prices

The ribs were delicious, very nice sauce and quality meat. The prawn toast was done just right, along with the chow mein and crispy seaweed. The delivery was very prompt too. There aren’t any other Chinese take away a on Canvey which match the standards of the Wellcome Inn.

Sorry but we were very disappointed with tonight meal, first one from them. We live quite close, food was warm, worst spare ribs I've ever had. Chips like warm. Hubby's was reasonably edible. Having said that needless to say, never again.

I have tried all of the other takeaways on canvey NONE of them match The Welcome Inn especially with the lemon chicken and Kung po chicken

Ordered from here as seen some good reviews. My order was totally inedible. £25.00 in the bin. The noodles was coated in grease, the Hong Kong style chicken was made with this awful batter type which was pure soggy, the CHICKEN balls I ordered was pick a mix some was chicken and some some pork. Honestly the worse Chinese I have ever ever had

Ordered four items . Got one wrong . The prawn balls were full of uncooked batter. Waist of money I couldn't afford .was a treat for my daughter . Went in the bin . Discusting !!!!!

I had high expectations after reading the rave reviews but was so disappointed. The food was horrible and all £26 worth of it ended up in the bin. The sweet and sour sauce was tasteless and insipid. The Hong Kong style chicken was like nothing like I've had before. The coating was flabby and soggy and the chicken balls weren't much better. The chips and pnacake roll were greasy and tasted of the oil they were cooked in. Biggest waste of money. We ended up ordering a pizza!

The always food arrives within 20 minutes, which is faster than most would expect, and the delivery drivers are very nice. Chips are one of a kind, very traditional chip shop chips - love it! Never had a bad experience there.

We have been having take away's from the Welcome Inn for the last 10 years. Always excellent, staff are polite, food always plentiful and hot. Very resonably priced

Consistently good takeaway Chinese food,we have tried most on canvey and welcome inn is the best,also competive pricing.

Premises are looking a bit tired now, as is the poor fish in the tank. But the food is good and Thursday lunchtime special is great value.

Siempre excelente, rápido y sabroso. Buena clasificación de higiene de los alimentos. Hace poco, hemos probado el juego en vez de pedir comidas separadas y esto hace trabajar muy buena relación calidad-precio. No tengo nada que no me gusta, excepto la salsa de alubias de color amarillo que no me gustó. Los platos agridulces son deliciosos y están las costillas

I ve been using Welcome Inn on Canvey for years! Its always excellent quality food, good sized portions and reasonable prices. Its great that they deliver if you dont feel like driving there.

Mi compañero es extremadamente quisquilloso con la comida, siempre pedimos de welcome Inn y que siempre lo perfecto! es normalmente a 20-30 minutos, aún caliente y no se puede confiar en ellos sin duda para la comida de sabor increíble!
