Gold Wok in Castle Point

Great first time experience food was delicious, we normally use another take away but they closed while on holiday. I highly recommend and they have a 5⭐ hygiene rating which is important to me.

Recommend by a friend. Good quality food and decent portions as well. However the end of beans could have been chopped off. Good parking available, depends what time of the day you visit. Young lady who served me didn’t seem to understand much English, not much of a greeting on arrival.

After getting food poisoning from Green Tea we thought let’s try this place, it’s absolutely as bad and we will never go there again, I have no idea what these people put in their disgusting dishes.

Ordered from here last night. Food took a 1.5 hours to arrive so I thought maybe it’d taste good. Big disappointment probably the worst Chinese I’ve tasted in a while. Do not order from here. Save your money

Very clean was amazed.. Went to check. A fault with a unit. So went into the back where all the cooking was being done and was amazed at how clean and how the food was prepared gold star from me..

One time I've ordered beef and mushrooms and complained about the meat and today chicken and mushroom was disgusting never had so much fatty chicken. I'm done no going back.

New management - food just as tasty. Lots of people phoned ahead to collect their orders, I couldn't get through. Usual favourites and few new dishes to try too. Yummy xXx

Great food, fast delivery and friendly service

I purchased a large order last night which on ordering in the shop I asked for the food to be piping hot as I had to take back onto Canvey. When I dished up the food at home it was Luke warm to on the verge of cold and the food was tasteless to. You don't expect food that cost £36.00 to be of poor value and uneatable to.

had the worse Chinese I have ever experienced in my life, it was for 5 people and everything was dry, tastless, I ordered yellow bean and got black bean and the sauce was so salty and rich I had to put boiled water to it, the whole experience was awful and would never ever order their food again. when I called to complain the owner was so rude and in not so nice language from him he said I was out of order complaining and I wont continue to say what else he said as was so rude. please be aware what sort of takeaway your ordering from when the owner is this rude and arrogant. Had a takeaway last Saturday from gold wok from the time it took to order and have it ready was about 10. Mins. Which was excellent. The food was really good and great portions too.

Pedimos un par de veces recientemente de wok de oro, en ambas ocasiones la comida ha sido genial. Los platos son abundantes y siempre caliente. La comida tiene un montón de sabor y no es mucha grasa. Realmente a un precio razonable, más barato que la mayoría de los otros en la misma ubicación. Recomendado

This is only a takeaway, the food is good, reasonably priced and delivered reasonably quickly. Their minimum delivery is £12 whereas most others in the area are £15.

Excellent service, Great food and the prices are decent... What more can you ask for!
