beautiful food, tasted great, however could do with being hotter. overall very enjoyable. 😃

The food was ok but it arrived luke warm and this surprised me as we only live around the corner from the take away.

Really fresh food! So tasty and not overly salty or soggy. It’s definitely the best Chinese food to order on the island or surrounding areas. I won’t go anywhere else now!

Chicken hard curry sauce runny portions really small

By far the worst Chinese we’ve ever had and waited 2 hours for it! Even after 3 phone calls to chase it up we were lied to about the ETA, The portions were tiny, the food was awful, ribs and chicken satay were days old, prawn balls soggy and greasy, prawn toast like burnt rubber, everything was lukewarm infact the only edible things were the seaweed and prawn crackers! The rest went in the bin. £32 for food even our dog turned his nose at. Never order from here again. Truly awful.

Chinese was delivered at 6pm like it said it would be food was very delicious & hot loved it

Staffs are very friendly and food portions are always very generous and piping hot. They are usually quite busy on Saturdays so was happy they were able to deliver within 50minutes. Will be ordering here again

Hi there - food was really good, especially the Szechuan chicken and this is far from my first order, the food’s consistently good. However I didn’t get the large bottle of Coke; any chance it could be dropped around while someone is delivering nearby?

I get it’s Mother’s Day and busy, but the food wasn’t particularly warm when it arrived.

I have been a customer for the past twenty seven years and never had any complaints throughly recomend the slow boat and I have sampled the other Chinese takeaways on the island and this one has always been the best fantastic value for money and food tastes excellent

chicken was undercooked alil and the crispy beef was abit over cooked I know it's ment to be crispy but it was very hard

leave review come up before food delivered, rook 1hr40mins for delivery and the distance is 1.2m. food was hot but not good. never again

The food was alright, a bit bland in flavour tho and it turned up a little cold as well which is a disappointment. I usually use this place as my regular for ordering Chinese as it always comes full of flavour and piping hot.

Ordered as a special treat for birthday. chicken balls were nice, crispy beef was nice but the rest was really watery and didn’t have much flavour at all. Was really disappointed. It was also really expensive compared to our usual Chinese ( which was shut for holiday) which is why we tried this one. Unfortunately won’t be trying again

Terrible ordered a take away was told would be 40 mins delivery it 2 and half hrs when asked for refund wouldn't give one. Always use slow boat not now.

Probably the best local Chinese in the area, but the quality has taken a dive.Curry sauce was like gravy texture.prices have also risen yet the quantity remains small.The shredded chicken chow mien came in the same size tray as the egg fried rice.

Ask for no shrimp in rice but it was put in. So won't order from here ever again

I haven’t ordered from here in a while because last time it wasn’t aa nice as usual, I think they just had an off night, however I’m really glad to say that they seem to be back on form and I really enjoyed my dinner. I’ll definitely come back to them again soon.

Ordered at 18:10pm and finally received at 20:20pm. Tried many times to contact the restaurant to find out what was happening but no answer. The food was barely warm and flavourless, what a waste of £40 and apparently this is the best Chinese on the island, hate to think what the rest are like!

Delivery was on time... Great.. we was starving .. unfortunately food was inedible. Chicken was rubber like, the BBQ sauce was orange in colour and had oil floating, separating the sauce. Husband took two mouthfuls and binned it. Spring rolls were undercooked and bit into them unable to break through from the sogginess

Food hot and tasty. Only gripe is delivery expectations. Estimate said 45 minutes. Ordered then it said 60-90 minutes. Came in around 70 minutes.

awful service with delivery drivers… food wasn’t delivered… as they said called me many times and knocked at the door… full house at home waiting for it and no any missed calls… and still arguing… disappointed…

So I live 8mins away after 1.5hrs was told it was 10mins away, 15mins later still nothing was kept on hold for 5mins while they tried to contact the driver shocking tbh food was OK but not worth the wait

Delivery driver was very rude to us that she had to come back. she closed the gate then let the dog out when we came back in. The dog went to a main road

I use this Chinese shop regular just got something to eat from there are worst Chinese I've ever had the chips was cooked about three times the chicken balls was also cooked about 3 times the rice and Men was dry as anything I saw you could taste was cooking oil advised to do not use it

Ordering the food on here was easy and quick but after waiting 1hr 20min over the 45 minute waiting time was not great I phoned the restaurant which wasn't great as the manager wasnt about to even talk to and thwre was a new lady on the phone and admitted she hadn't used a just eat machine befor. The delivery driver was lovely and and couldn't say a bad word about her she apologised soo much. I am hoping this was a 1 off as the food wasn't that bad apart from the pancake rolls that didn't taste nice at all and I hope they change them in the future x

Usually good but not so this time. They obviously took on more orders than they could handle, the delivery took over 2 hours and unfortunately it wasn’t worth the wait. My wife ended up doing herself some toast as she was hungry and her order was not up to any kind of good standard. Sorry for the bad review but I’m just being honest.
