Kamble Chinese Take Away in Castle Point

Much improved food quality from 2 years ago with new owner. Like most Chinese takeaways, the same menu for the last 60 years.

I used to order from here several years ago and then moved and haven’t eaten from here in a long time. At least a decade. Tonight, our usual Chinese was closed and so I ordered from here. The food was delivered later than stated but at least it was hot. Unfortunately it was very bland tasting. Chow mein had virtually no flavour and the crispy seaweed was coated in so much sugar it could have been a dessert!! Really disappointing and I won’t be ordering from again.

Mable and her staff are fantastic very nice food always well packed and hot always good variety of different food and always cater for your needs just lovely this takeaway Always get my takeaway every Friday and midweek it's a must of lovely hot Chinese food.2

I ordered on a Wednesday when they were doing a promotion. Really great value and tasted great. I regularly order and have been for years and it's always great.

Takeaway mediocre at best. First time we have used this place. I don’t think there will be a second.

In difficult times, once again Kambles provide good quality, tasty food and good prices. Very prompt, even during lockdown, fantastic.

We rarely get a takeaway now days due to always trying to cut down. So wen we fancied a little treat we asked if we could have our noodles and rice cooked without any oil. Kambles was happy to suit this dietary need and the food was still really good.

Thought we would give this a try as a change from our usual Chinese takeaway and were very disappointed with just about everything we ordered. Will be reverting back to our usual in the future.

Mr Ping was our go to Chinese in Benfleet then it closed!New neighbour recently recommended Kamble and we tried it.......what a great surprise, place looked very clean,(hygiene scores were excellent), staff were very helpful and the food was really delicious. Ribs in sauce just fell off the bone and the prawn toast was really good, best we have had.Very happy to have found a good local Chinese.

We often use Kambles for a take way, food always arrives hot and tasty. Staff are helpful and polite.

I am not a great fan of Chinese food as is can often be full of MSG and be quite greasy. Not the case with Kambles. We have used them manny, many times and the food is always excellent. The King Ma chicken and Chicken Satay are some of our favourites - Very well worth a try and is delivered very quickly

One of the best around benfleet , not a chinese fan but always will use this first .. Lovely sweet n sour Hong Kong style ... Do make on request

Local takeaway. Open 5 till 10. Deliver. Service was fast enough. Delivered within half an hour. Food average for a Chinese. It was ok. Just nothing special. Nothing was left though. Would possibly go back

Takeaway , not bad ... Can't say a lot ,... Only thing was a dislike was the chilli beef , it was more sweet n sour... Didn't eat , other than that , good food

The only place I get my Chinese takeaway from. Any friends and family who have had it have said it’s lovely.

One of my fave chineses, go here all the time and love the food and quick service. Reasonable priced too
