Crafty Cockney pie & mash in Castle Point

Unreal pie and mash, proper pie and mash, the way it really is and should be. Old school. Always get a triple pie and mash and always feel like I could eat more just because it’s so good. Staff are really friendly and delivery is fast. Mrs doesn’t eat pie and mash but she has their deserts when I order and I’ve tried them and again, really good. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for pie and mash, this beats robins and that’s saying something.

Spotted when passing so thought we would give it a try, and was not disappointed. Great place, nice people, food great really enjoyable. Will defo go again

Without a doubt the best traditional pie and mash shop I have been to and I have been to many! Pies supplied by Maureen’s and the best liquor possible! I cannot recommend the Crafty Cockney enough!!!

A fantastic find, passing by and spotted the Crafty Cockney in High St Canvey. Had a excellent meal, pies were superb in texture and flavour with the mash done properly. Friendly staff and fair prices, judging by the amount of takeaways many of the Islanders have already discovered this hidden gem. Revisits will definitely be required when on the Island 🏝 again. Well done restored my faith in pie n mash !
