This is definitely the best pizza I've ever had. I have never been to Italy, but that's what I imagine authentic Italian pizza would taste like! The prices are also very reasonable especially if you pay cash with a margarita starting at £10 and the most expensive at £14

The pizzas at Sam’s are delicious. Fresh ingredients and super base. My daughter has a gluten intolerance and her gluten free pizza looked and tasted great. It’s not often you can find a gluten free option that tastes so good. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. Looking forward to seeing the results of the renovation! X

We recently visited Sam’s place. The pizza was delicious, with fresh ingredients and great flavors, and the prices were very affordable. The service was also excellent—the staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The only downside was that they are currently redecorating, so the atmosphere felt a bit lacking in character. It’s nothing major, but if ambiance is important to you, it might be worth waiting until the renovations are finished. That said, if you’re just looking for great pizza at a great price, it’s definitely worth a visit!

We used Sam's Pizza for our work christmas takeaway dinner and they were fantastic! Danny, the owner, who I had been emailing regarding our (quite hefty!) order, has been fabulous, informative and super helpful, and our large order of pizza was delcious! A lot of us went for the christmas special which was sooo good - pancetta, sage & onion, and lovely drizzles of a mulled wine sauce. There was a slight mix up with how many pizzas we ordered but they were amazing and hand delivered an additional pizza to us, and we all agreed how good the pizza was - you can taste the real authentic italian taste and high quality ingredients! Highly recommend! :)

Been enjoying Sams Pizza since one of the first pop ups in town. It is great that they have their own shop now! The pizza is light and fluffy with a soft crust. The sauce is fresh and really compliments the cheese and dough.

Whether you go for a classic or something more adventurous (recommend nduja bufala or truffle) you can’t go wrong. The service is quick and attentive. We got pizzas from here a few times. Really good quality, hence why we go back. Sam seems friendly and relaxed, which creates a very relaxing environment when you go in.

A group of us got together on Friday night & had pizza’s from Sam’s pizza - amazing & delicious. The base was cooked perfectly & not thick and the toppings were very tasty. We couldn’t decide on which of the three different ones we liked best (Margherita, Pepperoni or Pruscuitto! We will be ordering again as very reasonably priced. Congratulations on your 1st year in your own premises.

Yummy out of 10! I've been meaning to come here for ages and finally made it along for dinner with my daughter. We sat in one of the window seats and had a margherita and a pepperoni. So delicious! Especially loved the pepperoni which was some smoky Hungarian sausage that was really tasty. Really friendly owner, great service and all in all would highly recommend!

Me and my partner ordered the Pesto and Verdue to share. Absolutely phenomenal. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The pizza was cooked perfectly, the toppings were expertly selected and clearly great quality, no better pizza in Hitchin. If you are local and haven’t tried Sam’s, you’re missing out!

I rang and ordered four pizzas for takeaway from Sam’s fifteen minutes before closing. The guy who took my order was friendly and polite and the pizzas were freshly made and absolutely delicious. We went for two Piccante and two pepperoni with the garlic and pesto/Parmesan dips and we loved every bite! Definitely as good as the wood fired pizzas you get in Italy. Very friendly staff - we will definitely be ordering from here again. Eleven out of ten! ❤️🍕⭐️

We are so lucky to live up the road from Sam’s, it’s become one of our favourite places to eat in Hitchin and is always fantastic. It’s always ready on time if you collect, the guys are so lovely and it really is the best pizza around!

The pizza itself is fab and the guy in there when we went was very friendly and attentive. The only down side is that the restaurant is still a takeaway, it’s not as cosy as other places in the area. There was an automatic air freshener going off every now and then, which made the restaurant smell a bit like a toilet unfortunately! Not the best atmosphere while eating pizza. Wouldn’t eat in again but would order delivery as the pizza was fab.

Really nice relaxed pizza place you could easily overlook where it is but don't!! The pizza base was really tasty and they had loads of delicious topping combinations which made it hard to choose but in the end I chose the Mediterranea, which was really tasty. Would definitely eat there again :)

We were hosting a pizza party for our little boy and an hour and a half before people were due to arrive we realised our dough had gone off. Cue panic stations until we remembered Sam’s Pizza. We sent them a very panicked message and they got back to us within minutes and couldn’t have been more helpful. Seven pizzas were picked up only a few hours later and were demolished within seconds. And the price was exceptionally reasonable too for such a rushed order. Really cannot recommend these guys enough, not just for coming to our rescue, but for taste, quality and value for money. We love you guys!
