LEAF MONKEY in North Hertfordshire

We were very excited to try out Sam’s pizza after reading good reviews however despite staff being lovely the food was extremely bland and lacked toppings. The crust was rock hard and felt like it had been sitting there a while. Overall nice place but not worth the insane price. Additionally the whole building was filled with flies.

I love Dena and her team. All super welcoming. It feels like home from home (without any cooking or tidying up). Food is fab and reasonable, and they remember what you've had before ie allergies or no skin on cucumbers. Whether you have Dena, Aunt kitie of the other team members all just super lovely. We've been going for years, and even though Myles has almost outgrown parts of it, there is still lots he loves, the board games, the activities etc. Highly recommend and will be going for many years to come. Ever since I was in Vietnam in 2011, I've been looking for a UK restaurant which did pancakes as good as the ones I had in Huế. Pho House absolutely nailed it. It was perfectly crispy, the filling was full of delicious prawns and even the beansprouts were super. If I lived in Letchworth, I'd go every month. Phenomenal. Staff were lovely too and even gave me a free sesame dessert bun which was yum.
