Great food, and the staff were really accommodating and friendly despite us being a very large group. Would definitely recommend!

Such good food! I am vege so got the tofu summer rolls and tofu pho both were so good! The mango salad as well, looooooved that defo recommend or the papaya salad🤤 Amazing! Often come to Letchworth to visit family. We were staying in the centre of Letchworth and googled places to eat. Pho House had great reviews. And quite rightly. We arrived at 9pm on a Friday night. The staff were lovely and friendly. The food was excellent. Great flavours and large portion sizes. Relaxed atmosphere. Would highly recommend, and will definitely return.

Have had previous good experience however on this occasion I got chicken in a veggie dish. Staff didn’t see it as a big deal but offered to take it off the bill. The excuse was the pans got mixed up which isn’t really good enough. They don’t care about dietary needs or allergies so please be careful if you have any specific needs.

We went there once per month because their food was tasty and the portion was really big with Courtesy service.

Totally delicious food. There are only a few restaurants that achieve an average rating of 4.9 on Google. This one rightly has that grade. Also noteworthy is the extremely warm welcome we received. It was a bit touching and you immediately felt at home. Wanderer, when you come to Letchworth, announce there that you have Saw us eating here, as our review recommended.

I don't usually write reviews, but Pho House and its owner were exceptional. We arrived before they had opened and were prepared to wait around, but rather than having to do so, we were warmly welcomed and invited in before the opening. The food was authentic and the portions were generous. The owner was kind, attentive and made sure we had what we needed throughout our whole dining experience. We travelled an hour plus+ (from Northampton) to try a new Vietnamese restaurant and we're glad we stumbled on this hidden gem. As mentioned, I'm not one to leave a review but with such good service deserves recognition. We will be back & thank you so much for dessert!

Had a lovely meal here. The Vietnamese iced coffee was great, and so was the mango salad. The rice rolls were also nice, and the lemongrass chicken was excellent. Would definitely come back.

Came here for a delicious lunch. Everything was fresh, tasty and huge portions. Highly recommend the steamed rice rolls and grilled chicken, cooked to perfection and lots of flavour. Don't forget the fresh sesame balls to finish. Service was super friendly, quick and efficient. Small menu which means you know it's all cooked fresh. So lovely to find authentic Vietnamese food and flavours. Please do visit and support this local business, you won't be disappointed! We can't wait to go back. From the couple who came in on Sat 1st June, I'm the heavily pregnant one! 🙂

An excellent Vietnamese restaurant. Spring roll tells the difference to most vietnamese restaurant in UK. Rice noodle with lemongrass pork is great as well. The portion is justified with the money paid. So far the best one in UK. Highly recommend!!

Had the spring roll, pork Bun and some sesame seed balls for dessert. All the food was really tasty, great combination of flavours and great portion sizes. The staff were super friendly. We arrived half an hour before closing time and they still were happy to seat and serve us. Really would recommend. Much better than any chain restaurant. A local gem! Will definitely come back

My partner and I had the pleasure of eating at Pho House recently. Had never eaten Vietnamese food before !! and it was amazing 👏 👌... The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Highly recommend to everyone, and if we are in the area again we'll definitely return for another visit... 👍

Do not confuse this Pho with the nationwide PHO. This is completely independent and therefore , better. Great tastes and flavours. Not a huge menu but one that should have something for everyone. Small compact restaurant with wonderful service, and with a smile. The Pho, beef, was really good and the noodles really tasty. A good all round experience and one we shall be repeating when we return to Letchworth.

Amazing little restaurant! Everything was homemade and tasted delicious and fresh. We had the spring rolls which were incredible, and the traditional Pho soup, very copious and tasty. All super reasonably priced. Special shoutout to our lovely young waiter who was extremely professional and kind. A little gem, highly recommend!

Firstly, don't worry about the outside. It's on a shopping street in the centre of delightful Letchworth. Ignore that and go in. We went there as a family of 5 (2 adults, one 14 yr old, one 12 yr old, 1 11 yr old), having not been to a Vietnamese restaurant before, but have a holiday to Vietnam booked for a few months time so wanted to 'expose' the children to the type of food they'd be eating. We'd booked for lunch (ignore some websites.. they're open 12-3 Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon for lunch and every evening from 6-9 or 6-10 on a Fri & Sat apart from Tuesday when they're closed. The lady who welcomed us was very nice, and very happy to explain dishes on the menu and make recommendations of 'typical' Vietnamese dishes. She was also not trying to upsell us, and said we had ordered enough, and for the starters she would serve them to us in a way to ensure we could share them. Then - onto the mains. Again, both the lady and the gentlemen who were 'out front' had given suggestions on what to have. We had agreed amongst us that everyone had to have something different so we could try a variety of dishes. With the help of the staff we made our choice. When our meals came out, these were both generous portions, and excellent. Every dish was a clearly different flavour and every one was good. We struggled to finish, but mostly made it. Really good tastes, plenty of the protein (chicken, beef, prawns etc) and very enjoyable. Then, they kindly brought us a sesame bun with red bean paste each as a little dessert. Slightly strange... like a round churros/doughnut, covered in sesame seeds, with a bit of slightly sweet paste in the centre. 3 of us like them, the other two less so. So, we'd go back... it about half an hour from home so there's a lot of places to go within less than 30 mins from home but i am hopeful we'll go back as i really enjoyed it. I also hope that food in Vietnam is as good as the food we had in Letchworth!!

The service was amazing. They were kind and helped us with very warm and smiling faces. The pho was amazing as well. A must try for everyone who love Asian food or would like to experiment with new food!

Can’t believe I have now lived in letchworth for a year and not tried the food here. Really warm people who greet you with a smile and great selection of Vietnamese classics. Absolutely love it

Paid our first visit to Pho House after seeing a film at the Broadway. Conveniently situated 100 metres from the cinema. Not a massive menu, which I feel is good because it focuses on authentic dishes and makes them really, really well. I had the Pho with beef brisket and it was certainly a meal in itself. Great ingredients, all fresh and cooked to perfection. Others had noodle dishes, all of which were equally good. Friendly and efficient service, which was appreciated. Whilst Letchworth simply cannot compare with Hitchin for the range of different and high quality restaurants, this is certainly one that raises the bar in the town centre.

Louis is an amazing chef, great authentic pho and really tasty sesame balls!

An amazing truly family run restaurant and the fabulous Google reviews are completely justified. Our meal on Sunday night was freshly prepared, beautifully presented and above all tasty. We look forward to visiting again to explore the whole menu. What a find!

The BEST food I’ve ever had! Amazing service from the waitresses. I will be going there again soon and taking my friends too! Fully recommend spring rolls and steam rolls for starters!! I haven’t had them anywhere else this perfect before! I think it’s family run, but not sure. Either way, incredible service and food!!

we wanted to visit this restaurant ... nearly didn't as TripAdvisor showed it only open evenings... I'm pleased to report it is open at lunchtime . even more pleased to report that we all enjoyed our visit : food excellent , beers, wines and teas all good , not crowded , not noisy . we'll be back , thank-you .

My daughter wanted to have pho on her birthday which is on New Year’s Day. I researched restaurants within a 30 min radius of Cambridge that would be open on the 1st and have availability and found this one. It was definitely worth the drive. This was authentic, homemade Vietnamese food. The spring rolls were some of the best I’ve had. The papaya salad was the perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy. The child portions for pho could have fed an adult. My husband and I shared a bowl of pho (really could feed two people) and the lemongrass pork. Everything was really delicious. On top of everything, they brought out an ice cream sundae with a candle to celebrate my daughter’s birthday which we weren’t expecting at all. It made her feel very special. We also got some sesame balls (amazing!) on the house for the special occasion. It was a really nice treat and we will definitely be back. It’s the best Vietnamese food I’ve had in England.

This restaurant is a gem. The food is outstanding and authentic, the spring rolls are the best I've had anywhere, the herbs which bedeck most dishes are fresh, aromatic and plentiful. The staff are friendly, informative and eager to explain anything that's new to you (how to put together banh con, for example). We eat here at least once a month and will continue to do so. Thank you for coming to Letchworth, Pho House - you have brightened our lives!

A beautiful Vietnamese restaurant, the owners are really lovely but more importantly having a slice of Vietnam whilst on work is a real pleasure. I have now dined here twice and on both occasions the food has been superb. The Main courses are substantial so on my second visit stayed to one course. The food is freshly prepared and delivered in a relaxed way.

Sweet mum and pop shop (family owned) - the waitress at this store is so kind and attentive! And the food is delicious! The pho broth has a lot of flavour yet is not overwhelming! - great if you're feeling under the weather! Highly recommend the Vietnamese spring rolls! And the pork with rice dish!!! We came back 2 days in a row!

My boyfriend and I had lunch here today. Started with spring and summer rolls, followed by Pho Hue. That's the spicy one! Awesome. Just unbelievably delicious, beautifully balanced, and proteins (prawn, chicken, beef) cooked to perfection. And the service was amazing. The only reason the score for atmosphere is lower is due to the fact that we arrived for a late lunch so it was pretty empty. Nice background music though, and not too loud. I would highly recommend it if you are a fan of Vietnamese cuisine. If you haven't tried Vietnamese food, but love Asian food, don't delay. Get your "pho" on!

Very good service and very delicious food

We come here approx. twice a month and really enjoy the food, it really is great! However, on our latest visit, their level customer service when faced with an issue, really let them down. My food was sent to another table by mistake. We waited for them to make the food again, but it only arrived as my husband was finishing. Whilst we did receive an apology and we accept that accidents happen, we were surprised when we were charged full price for our bill. We questioned it, which resulted in them knocking off our cheapest starter. I overheard them telling the incorrect receiver of my dish, who received this as well as their correct order, not to worry and that they can take it home for their lunch tomorrow. They certainly had better luck than us! Safe to say, we did not feel valued customers and won’t be returning for a while. Update: after a 6 month hiatus we returned and sadly the service has not improved, my husband received his dish 15 minutes before I did. A real shame, as the food is so tasty but the service lets it down! People giving the 5* service reviews are certainly luckier than us :-)

This is the best Vietnamese food I've had in the UK! The chef and his wife are incredibly welcoming, making the dining experience even more delightful. The menu offers a wide variety of authentic dishes, but there are a few standouts you must try: the Vietnamese spring rolls with rice noodles, Banh Cuon, Papaya Salad, and Sesame Balls with red bean paste are all exceptional. My wife and I have been so impressed that this place has quickly become our favourite restaurant. We find ourselves returning at least once a week to indulge in the amazing cuisine and warm atmosphere. If you're in the mood for authentic Vietnamese flavours served by wonderful people, look no further. Five stars all the way!

Authentic Vietnamese food🥰 This is my second visit We drove for half an hour to come and totally worth it. The boss/chef is Vietnamese and he mentioned it’s “home flavour”, I haven’t been to Vietnam but this is better than all Vietnamese restaurant in Hong Kong (food paradise😝). You can tell the ingredient is fresh especially the herbs they used. I love they incorporated much vegetables in the dishes. Last time we tried Banh Xeo—crispy rice repe with stir fried veggies-5 stars Spring Roll-with taro inside-4.5 stars Pho Hue-spicy rice noodle-4 stars Tricolor coconut drink- with homemade green jelly Seasone balls This time we tried Bun-sweet and sour mixed cold noodle , we ordered with pork and it is so aromatic and balanced-5 stars Banh Cuon- steamed rice roll, chef made the rice sheet himself , the fried shallot elevates the whole dish😍-5 stars Vietnamese coffee- very refreshing with crushed ice So shame that we were so full that couldn’t order more🥲Really want to try Pho(soup noodle)😝definitely more visit in the future I recommend you to reserve a table for big group of ppl since it’s kinda full in weekends🙈

Visited Jun2023. Superb place. Every dish is cooked to perfection, with maximum flavour in every bite, a range of sweet, sour, soft and crunchy, umami. Great service. Note also the homemade lime juice on the menu.

Very Delicious! This is the most delicious Vietnamese restaurant I have ever eaten in the UK. I have local spring rolls, pork with lemon, spicy chicken noodle soup, shrimp and sprout salad crispbread (the first time I have eaten in a Vietnamese restaurant), Sesame fried dumplings, Vietnamese frozen coffee, and three-color real ice. Everything tastes delicious, the ingredients are fresh, the ingredients are sufficient and the taste is authentic. The boss makes it carefully and the price is high. The boss highly recommends the steamed rice rolls, but I didn’t scream because I was already full. I must try it next time! The owner, who speaks Cantonese, is an overseas Chinese from Vietnam. He once lived in Hong Kong and felt very friendly! It was worth the 40-minute drive, and I will definitely visit again!

This is the most delicious Vietnam restaurant I have eaten in the UK which is amazing and good in price to value! The chef is Vietnamese and the owners can speak Cantonese who are very friendly and service is very good! We tried Vietnamese Spring roll (must try) , spicy noodle soup, Vietnamese rice noodle (Must try) , ice coffee , fried sesame ball. All are very good! one dishes (I forgot the name) crispy cover with beans sprouts and prawn （個樣有d似奄列咁） which is very special and seldom found in ordinary Vietnam restaurants is very yummy too! The chef also strongly recommend the Vietnamese Steam rice roll (越南腸粉） which I must order next time as we are too full already today. Hong Kongers should love it!

The food here is just fantastic! The menu is not huge (and there’s a limited selection of purely veggie stuff) but the dishes we had were all packed with flavour and decent sized/bordering on too much too!. Definitely recommend a visit.
