The best restaurants serving Mexican food in East of England

My sister and I were looking for somewhere for dinner in Southend and found the great reviews for this restaurant. It did not disappoint! Great selection of vegetarian dishes for me and 2for1 cocktails- what's not to like! Would definitely recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to A Differnt Brew: the staff were wonderful, the surroundings lovely, the food was good (including nice gluten-free for a coeliac friend) and the ethos was great. We were a group of friends meeting up from different places and it met our needs perfectly. We look forward to visiting again:-)

We finished here because there is no real Mexican restaurants in Cambridge, but only 10 min away from Cambridge we fell in love with this cosy place with a very tasty food and even a better service. We will definitely come back. Pd: pork tacos is a must!

What a lovely little place, neat and clean, staff were lovely. The best bit was a slice of awesome cake and a cup of coffee. Definitely worth a visit and cake not to be missed

If you like delicious doughnuts and a tasty lunch, treat yourself and get down to Dough Yo’s and Veg Heads. We always go there when we’re in Southend and they never let us down, they offer the best vegan food for miles.

Wrap was mostly rice and white disappointment for the price

Fantastic! We booked Burrito Fusion at the last minute with one weeks notice. Binit was able to accommodate vegan, gluten free and no onion and garlic dietary requirements and had plenty of options for our guests. The food was delicious and all of our guests enjoyed the food. Service was on time and smooth, and dessert was so tasty! I'd highly recommend Burrito Fusion and would definitely use them again. Thank you!

Walked the length of Cambridge to go here because it said open at 10am - it's not, it's permanently closed and has been since December 2024. I was with a disabled person and walking that far for nothing wasn't fun - just a warning.

Great food, good service... A little one the pricy side for a take away but very good!

Ordered Burrito and Gringas for takeaway. Both were fresh and amazingly tasty. Spice levels are chosen and salsas were so delightful. Will order again definitely.
