Great restaurant to visit the service and food is fantastic would highly recommend great range of Mexican to try can't find these many options in any seaonsed Mexican branches.

The best restaurant experience I've had in years, impeccable service, food was unfaultable and authentic and the prices are affordable and for the amount of food you get you really can't go wrong here. The staff are welcoming and friendly and go out of there way to make you feel welcome and comfortable waiting on your every need. The food comes at a timely pace and delivers punchy authentic flavours that I already miss now writing this review. Will absolutely be returning.

OMG, this place is so good. We actually only went in here out of convenience but I'm so glad we did! Everything was absolutely gorgeous, we kept stealing each others food because we couldn't decide which was best. The handmade cocktails were 2 for 1 as well.

The food at The Burrito is delicious. Great flavours and beautifully presented. There is also a complete menu of vegan options in addition to the main menu. A great restaurant and very welcoming. There are so many other things I’d like to try so will definitely be eating at The Burrito again.

Best authentic Mexican 🇲🇽 restaurant in south end on sea. We had a great time and food here after a long day and thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely would go again when in town. Kumar was very charming and helpful throughout the dining experience. Would definitely recommend it!

Well the kids found this place on google maps and as they were (quote) ‘dying of starvation’ I agreed to give it a try. I was made to feel very welcome as soon as I entered. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and well laid out. We had, nachos, burritos and pork belly. The food was delicious! We will be eating there again.

I recently dined at a Mexican restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the overall value for money was great. The authenticity of the cuisine added to the positive experience. I tried the Pork Belly Bites, which were very tasty. The Loaded Fries with pulled pork were a personal favorite, and the Tacos were also delightful. The Quesadilla Platter with various sauces was a highlight, especially the beef option, although the chicken and duck were enjoyable as well. Leaving the restaurant, I felt full, happy, and completely satisfied. I'm definitely looking forward to returning for more!

Service was impeccable and the food was tasty. Enjoyed our cocktails and the dulce de leche dessert was a hit. The children licked their plates clean.

Mid week night out to the Burrito was driven by reading the reviews online, and by far it was worthy of the reviews given. It was not to busy, but understandable being mid week, however many delivery drivers turning up keeping the chef busy Food was very authentic and very fresh Portion size generous and we left very full at a reasonable price Looking forward to our next visit

Food was fabulous and well priced. Food portions were big so no chance of leaving hungry!! Front of house was brilliant and made us feel more than welcome. All in all great time had by everyone and we highly recommend it 😁

I went along for the first time with three others who had been to the restaurant before and sung its praises. So I had to see for myself. Service was really good and attentive. They were doing a two for one deal on cocktails when we arrived. Which looked great and tasted even better. They offer a range of vegan options, as well as meat and fish based dishes. For starters I had fish based dish, (cant recall its name but it was lovely!!). For the main I had the prawn fajitas which arrived on a sizzling platter and super tasty. If you’re looking for something a little bit different in the heart of Southend, look no further. They delivered an excellent service, served a tasty range of food and drinks for a very reasonable price. Its an estupendo Mexican restaurant, but in Essex! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

My wife and I have visited this restaurant on several occasions now, and we are delighted to have discovered this hidden gem. The food, the service, and the atmosphere are consistently of a high quality. We always receive a warm welcome from the owner, and he provides such an unobtrusive yet helpful and friendly service. We didn't expect to find such excellent, authentic Mexican cuisine so close to home. There are a variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes available, too, which provides enough choice for all tastes and preferences. The cocktails are very tasty, too, and many are offered as 2 for 1. Highly recommended!

We went for lunch at The Burrito - Comida Mexicana at the weekend. I can't recommend it highly enough. We had the Sharing platter, the aubergine and cilantro fritters and dirty fries with veg chilli all from the vegan menu: Don't be put off by the cafe style look, the food is restuarant quality, the service is amazing, best mexican food I have ever tasted and a full vegan menu and cocktails to boot!

We went in on the off chance to grab a couple of burritos and the owner was in the restaurant, he was very helpful and gave us a couple of recommendations. The burritos were very tasty and very good portion size. He even offered us a shot on the house. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want to experience really good Mexican food.

We decided to try this restaurant late afternoon one Saturday as we had missed lunch and were very hungry. First of all, don't be put off by the area or the cafe-esque decor. It is extremely clean and the atmosphere and vibe is relaxing and informal. The menu is wide and varied, and there is a selection of 2 for 1 cocktails. They were delicious! The food was exceptional - we opted for curries and the quality and quantity were spot on. Very reasonable for the price. I must make a special mention for the owner / manager who was very attentive without being obtrusive; a very friendly and helpful gentleman who talked us through the menu and answered any questions we had. We will return very soon. This is a hidden gem and has wonderful options for those who are predominately plant-based or vegan.

We visited for my husbands birthday on a recommendation, what a lovely restaurant. We enjoyed starters, mains and deserts with Mexican soft drinks and beers. The service was amazing, this place deserves to thrive and we will def be back.

Very warm and friendly, lots of vegetarian and vegan options (with a seperate vegan menu). Attentive but not hovering staff, food fantastic. One of the only places weve found where both my wife and I loved it! Cant rate this highly enough and will be bringing my sons in.

At last a Mexican restaurant thats serves authentic and really really good Mexican food! We ate there last night It was better than any of really good Mexican restaurant we ate in Miami last year. A must try. Their delivery is also superb as had some picky bits delivered last week.

We heard about this place through a friend and it came highly recommended. The food was excellent and amazing value for money, could tell that the food was fresh and the staff were there to explain the menu and made recommendations. The restaurant itself was tastefully decorated with Mexican music playing in the background. Kumar served us and was extremely attentive and friendly. Overall an incredible place to eat and it’s a shame that it doesn’t get the foot traffic it deserves.

Omg this place is amazing. Came recommended to us and it did not disappoint. Pork belly starter and chorizo starter was absolutely outstanding. Followed by the chilli con carne which was excellent. These dishes were hand prepared and certainly made with love. They take so much pride in the food they produce. Will definitely be returning and recommending.

Just fantastic, an amazing experience the waiter was very informative and guided us through a beautiful Mexican experience, backed up by the subtle Mexican decor and music unobtrusively playing in the background, not just the food which was exquisite but the cocktails are a great twist on the standard cocktails we all know. Incredibly impressed and will definitely be going back for more.

We were looking for somewhere to eat on a Sunday night in town after an event. We hadn't previously stumbled upon this place, so decided we'd give it a try. Upon entering, we were given a warm welcome from the host, who was extremely friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Much to our surprise, he informed us that they currently have 20% off when eating in, which we were obviously very happy with! All three courses arrived quickly, piping hot, and absolutely delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better first experience, and we'll undoubtedly be returning soon!
