This has become our regular Mexican restaurant, Staff are so accommodating. Food is delicious and filling. Never been disappointed in any way.

Just had a delivery of the hotdog wrapped in bacon, it was absolutely fabulous, I thought I was going to get real hand-cut fries but sadly I got frozen cooked chips but other than that it was very enjoyable. I will definitely be ordering again. Looking forward to some of the other delicious things on the menu.

We booked a table in this fabulous little place just off the high street, as we were visiting out of the area, and it did not disappoint! The staff were very friendly, and the food and drink on offer were plentiful and delicious! We'll definitely be returning!

We came in tonight for the first time, table of 8 and we all said we will definitely return. The food was amazing, so tasty and fresh. Lovely service, unfortunately I didn't catch his name but he was so friendly and gave us some great recommendations on what food to order. All the food was delicious and plentiful. Definitely give this restaurant a try. Good value for money too. On the way out we saw that they do a bottomless brunch on a weekend too!

Came here for my birthday after reading such good reviews-it didn’t disappoint-the waiter serving us was so friendly, recommending things to us and asking if everything was ok, as it was my birthday also offered me a free pudding which was very kind and the food was amazing-had pork belly bites for starter-absolutely delicious and mini tacos-husband said tasted really good! Mains of burger, chimichanga and enchiladas tasted really good and would recommend peri fries on the side too. Had some cocktails which were great and some on but 1 get 1 free and hubby loved the Mexican beers-such a shame more people don’t seem to know about this little gem as was very quiet for a Friday evening-my only guess is the location perhaps as would 100% visit again 😊

We booked this restaurant, having no idea what it would be like, as a celebration dinner for my sister. From the moment we stepped in, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, even giving us recommendations and making plenty of conversation. To top it all off, the food was incredible and extremely reasonably priced- we couldn’t fault it and certain cocktails were even 2-for-1 and DELICIOUS. Would 100% recommend to anybody looking for a delicious, excellent value-for-money meal with an authentic, warm atmosphere. Thank you so much!

Absolutely delicious food , the burritos were spot on, chicken and chirzo. Had the nachos with chilli for starters which again were wonderful. Had cocktails 2 for the price of one and to top it off we had a churros each with our bill. Will come again and so should you.

We were so fed up with the same old takeaways and thought we would try somewhere different! Found burrito on just eat and menu looked amazing! Daughters fussy and didn’t want slaw in her food so just before placing the order i called them. They not only made that possible but asked if I would like to take order over the phone! Really nice guy! Food come and it was piping hot and went down a treat! Highly recommend this place! Seems to be a lot of disappointment with takeaways around the area but this place is a hidden gem! Really nice place for mexican food came for our 2nd time today and really enjoyed it. Order a few different bits the chimmichanga and the chorizo stew - both delicious cooked fresh and tasty. Cocktails were good and all for £51. Prices are really cheap but so worth it.

I don't understand the five star rating - the service is friendly, but in the middle of a busy night the place was absolutely empty. Food felt like it was all made in a microwave, nothing felt fresh - couldn't taste the meat in my mains.

We had such a lovely time here 2 weekends ago! 7 of us booked the bottomless brunch. The service was spot on, staff really friendly and accommodating. Food was really good - hot and tasty, could have been a smidge bigger portion, but that particular deal is still excellent value for money. I had the chicken quesadillas and tacos and so nice. The drinks were lovely, and we really felt they weren’t scrimping on anything like some places do. We would absolutely go back here. Thank you for a lovely time.

I visited this restaurant for a birthday lunch and the food was delish! Such friendly service with everything prepared with fresh ingredients. They also catered really well for any dietary requirements. Could not recommend enough!

The most amazing Mexican Cuisine I have tried. Me and my partner went for the Bottomless Brunch and had some of the best cocktails we have ever tried. The customer service Kumar provided made us feel welcome and very happy. The good portions are generous and exceptionally delicious.

The food was some of the best Mexican food we’ve had! Our server was so lovely and the food was really good quality. The drinks were delicious and it was all decorated lovely for Christmas. Although we were sceptical at first, I’m so glad we went, I can’t recommend it enough!

This was our second visit to The Burrito-Comida and this time we returned with partners to celebrate my birthday. We had a wonderful evening with amazing food and drink and great service. I’d especially recommend the Mexican beers and cocktails. The tacos and chilli con carne were exceptional. Altogether a great value authentic Mexican meal. We’ll be back!

Our meal was OUTSTANDING! We tried a selection of starters and shared a main and they were all incredible. The front of house/owner (?) was so welcoming, we felt immediately at home. We’ll definitely be back!!

If you like Mexican and Tex Mex food this place is a must. Beautifully spiced, fresh ingredients and some innovative twists. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic food! Every dish we ordered was very high quality and delicious. Good variety of beers and drinks. Our waiter was friendly and polite but not overbearing. Very knowledgeable. A common theme these days is restaurants automatically adding a service charge to the bill, as happened here. I prefer to tip voluntarily, as that's what a tip / gratuity is. I'd rather they added 10% to the menu prices. It feels a bit like a trick / con. That said, the prices were quite reasonable. 2 starters, 3 mains, 2 sides, 3 desserts, 9 beers all for £111 (including service charge) I wouldn't hesitate to go back. I hope I get the opportunity again soon. The pork belly bites are a must!

Stumbled upon this place while on a day trip to Southend on sea 🌊, me and my son decided we wanted something different from the bog standard lame fish 🐟 and chips 🍟. This was definitely a nice change to eat something healthy and fresh also to sit in a nice space. As you may see from the pics 📸 the food was very well presented and tasted good. The service was REALLY GOOD! Thank you again you made us feel like VIPS! Will definitely come back when I'm back in that area. 1st time visit for my partners birthday. Where to start… From arriving to leaving the gentleman who served us was so knowledgeable, kind and friendly. He made us feel welcome and was so informative on the menu and drinks available. The food was amazing!. Pork belly bites, fish dumplings, nachos and dirty fries to share as starters and mains was Mayan Curry, potato Bravas, Burrito and Corn. The restaurant is super clean with great decor. This is must visit and I can’t recommend them enough!. I will definitely be returning and ordering takeaway. Also - great Vegan and vegetarian options Thank you so much to all the staff for a lovely meal and evening.

We visited with friends for the £28.95 bottomless brunch. We had 3 courses each plus 1.5 hours of beers, cocktails and wine. The food was perfect. I had the mushroom quesadilla to start followed by Mexican casserole and churros. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service by Kumar was excellent. We will definitely be back for more.

Went here this evening with my friend. The host was so friendly and really helpful, a lovely man! The service was fab, the restaurant was so cute lovely little details small but nice and intimate a really nice feel to it. The food was absolutely delicious lovely flavours I especially loved my pork belly bites and my burrito honest delicious. If you haven’t been here before please pay them a visit the hospitality is outstanding and such a lovely time. Very reasonably priced too. I had only had delivery from them before which were always good! But the experience of the restaurant is great!

Went for dinner and drinks with a few friends before heading out in town. The cocktails were delicious (and a super bargain with buy 1 get 1 free)- we made our way through most of the menu! The food all sounded amazing we really struggled to pick favourites, but loved the fajitas, enchiladas and chimichangas with nachos, dirty fries and pork belly bites on the side! The service was great, and I hope I can get back again soon!

As mains my brother and I ate a sharing platter together and the meat was to die for; it simply melted in our mouths. We went for a day to Adventure Island and walked into town for a break and an early dinner. We had found this place online and read the great reviews. It did not disappoint. The service was exceptional. Despite various dietary requirements, the waiter was accommodating, helpful and all the random requests we made (two autistic children that are very selective about their food choices) all the food came up promptly and as ordered. Plus it was excellent food. The vegan options are varied and brilliant. We ordered some churros to take away and kids loved eating these walking back to the fair. I honestly can't complain about any thing - other than I wish there was one closer to us. Service charge was included but I left extra just because... well the service was above and beyond what you generally experience going out for meals in this country!

Myself and my family have just eaten here today, what a beautiful gem we have so local, from the owner, a passionate, friendly and helpful guy who really wants you to try and experience the very best dishes they have to offer. Wow what a find! Looking for somewhere local to eat, we fancied a change so we had a google and this hidden gem popped up! My friend had been before so we thought we would give it a try .. What can I say… We were seated and served by a lovely waitress, didn’t get her name but she was very welcoming. Once seated menus were given. A cocktail menu, vegan menu and ordinary menu. My friend opted for the vegan menu and was very happy, due to so much choice to choose from. We both had a mocktail. We went for starters. I had the small nachos.. My friend had the cauliflower bites, and both dishes were lovely.. I then went for the chicken fajitas, my friend went for the jackfruit burger and chips.. Both meals were lovely, fresh, hot and good portion size. For dessert we both went for the churros, one with Vegan chocolate. The food, the staff and atmosphere were lovely. An added bonus, it was my friend’s birthday, they turned the music up, sang happy birthday and had placed a candle in her ‘on the house’ dessert. What a lovely end to lovely food.. We did notice lots of take aways drivers coming in to collect. That to me goes to show the food is good! Thank you for a lovely evening.. We will definitely be back.

Popped in here for a Burrito. Having tried many many burritos from various places in London, the chicken tinga burrito from here was by far the best I’ve ever eaten. Lovely staff as well and a great feel to the restaurant. Can’t wait to go back 👌🏻

Great little place. Meeting friends from north England and needed somewhere to eat so I looked up on trip advisor and lucky enough this came up. They were very impressed with my choice. Love Mexican food and it was just that. I had Acapulco sunset cocktail very yummy ,they were two for one . Starter dessert and main chimichanga! The owner will explain and very friendly . Totally recommend

Had both delivery and eaten in the restaurant here and It's phenomenal everybody. The owner and chef are so nice and welcoming and The food is a 10/10. The restaurant was clean and service was fast. I recommend the Chicken and Chorizo Jambalaya burrito bowl. It's incredible. All the ingredients tasted fresh and food came out hot. We have very picky children but they where more than happy to make adaptations for them. Will continue to order from here and will be sure to pop in again soon. As Mexican food novices, we were a little worried about ordering at The Burrito. We needn't have been concerned, we were welcomed in and the menu was fully explained to us. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, nothing too much trouble. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a great meal out.

The restaurant was surrounded by Mexican music which brought us to the atmosphere. The cuisine there was amazing! We had Nacos dipped with sauce and tacos with pork and chicken were great! Professional service by Mr. Waiter made us the wonderful experience! And we would definitely recommend to our friends!

We were a group of 16 friends visiting Southend beach. Wanted to have dinner somewhere and selected this place. We had such an amazing time. The food, hospitality, venue and decor were excellent. They accommodated our large group and rearranged tables so that we could sit together. All those who served us were friendly and engaged very well. Good explanations about the items on the menu and we went with their recommendations which didn't disappoint. We didn't have to wait long for our food and drink to arrive. And it was so tasty and well presented. Loved the Mexican hats we were given and we took photos with them which will be a good memory. Thanks so much to Kumar and his colleagues for their warmth and service throughout our time there. Highly recommended. Best wishes

The food was honestly beautiful! It was all authentic mexicain food & drinks that just tasted brilliant! The owner recommended their Pork Belly Bits as those were their best sellers.… glad we got them, they were amazing!! The owner provided a very friendly and personal service; taking time to chat to us and explaining the menu! The only thing wrong with this place is the fact it should be busier!! Honestly 5 out of 5 !!!

Unbelievable!!!! Got let down by a catering van 72hrs before my event. Phoned these guys and they were happy to take on such a big order at late notice. Within 24hrs I had the order to them of 30 burritos/bowls. Communication was great, delivery service was great and food was sooo good! Thanks sooo much. Everyone had a great dinner.

Had my second takeaway delivered from the Burrito restaurant today. Just as good as the first. Top notch burrito with all the sauces and packed really well. The nachos and loaded dirty fries were also really nice. My partner who doesn't generally like mexican food also racked through them both unconsciously. Managed to keep her hands off my girthy burrito though 🌯 Plan to actually eat in the restaurant one day but still remains the best mexican food in the area so far 👌

Have been meaning to try this place for some time and a visit from friends was the perfect opportunity. We visited when there were 2 for 1 offers on mains and cocktails due to their 1st birthday - but even without these offers the food and particularly the drinks were excellent value. A varied selection of both food and cocktails and all very well made. A couple of mexican beers also available. I had the aubergine and Cilantro fritters, pulled beef burrito with a side of plantain - freshly cooked, tasty and good sized portion. Though I was very full, the Tres Leche dessert could not be ignored due to the recommendation and it did not disappoint! There is a good vegan and veggie choices too. A welcoming atmosphere & great service from friendly staff topped off the visit. I see a delivery order in my future for sure and will be recommending to others!

Really impressed with this place! The food was delicious, the cocktails (many of which were around £7 and available on a BOGOF deal) were great and the service was excellent. We visited when there was a special 241 offer on mains to celebrate the restaurant's first anniversary but will definitely be back 👍🏼

We visited as a party of three and were very impressed with the friendly service and amazing value of this beautiful restaurant. The food was absolutely awesome. The jackfruit & pumpkin fritters and aubergine & cilantro fritters were crispy and tasty and not at all greasy. The vegan menu is extensive and interesting , but we ordered both vegan and meat diahes. We had a variety of tacos which were all fresh and delicious and some bargainous but carefully made cocktails. What a gorgeous little restaurant. I wish I didn't live 5 hours away so could come here again often as it's such a welcoming place with top notch food. Thank you so much for having us!
