Amazing food as usual- we forget how generous the food portions are so we went a little over for 2 people 😂. Highly recommend the pulled pork garlic bread to share and burritos!

I ordered Veggie chilling I have done many time previously. it has alwasy been a bit spicy but it was so hot today I couldn't eat it, very disappointed 😞

Ordered a nacho box to share to find a whole taco shell in the bottom of my box

I highly recommend this place. Couldn't fault a thing. Fabulous quality of food and ideal quantity for price paid in my opinion. Atmosphere friendly, efficient, warm and welcoming. This was a Saturday lunch time.

Absolutely fabulous food (Chimichangas, and the guacamole was spot on, as were the margaritas). Internal decor is novel, original (the sombrero for lamp shades) welcoming . Even the toilets decor - attention to detail. Love this place with definitely be back soon (30 min drive for lunch for us, but worth it).

We’ve just been in for a meal at this wonderful restaurant. It was my partner birthday and they made the evening wonderful. They helped organise a cake and sang to her. The lady who served us was lovely. Attentive, friendly and personal. The restaurant got surprisingly busy for a Monday night and she handled the service of all tables like a boss! The food was beautiful and big portions. Cocktails were amazing! Prices were very reasonable! I would highly recommend. We had a great evening

Food was fantastic, and was served promptly. A really interesting and traditional selection on the menu. Would love to visit again. A lot of covers are packed in to a relatively small space at this restaurant, which may be a bit uncomfortable for some.

The food was delicious and the staff provided great service. We were not keen on the new sections where we were sat. It is too high and you feel too shut off from the rest of the restaurant.

Cracking little Mexican eaterie just out of the town centre. Free on road parking if you are lucky, paid parking nearby. Staff all great, I was served by the bubbly Tanya, warm welcome and went through dietary options etc. I went for the medium chilli which was very good, maybe a bit of Chipotle would bring out flavour even more, personal choice. Good size meal, put away with a beer which at £7-50 a pint is expensive however good the service is. Will be coming back next time I'm in Southend.

What a lovely place, I come here every year with the family and always have a lovely time , great food and great customer service. This time I went with friends and they enjoyed it as much as my family does. They couldn’t have done enough for us when we arrived. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely time .

My husband went with some work mates and thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambience. He then took me a couple of weeks later. We returned again last week. The staff are so friendly and helpful with the menu, explaining what is hot and spicy as preference. The food is so filling and delicious. You will not come out hungry. It was refreshing to have friendly efficient service. Cannot recommend enough.

A stand out favourite for our family and one we have recommended to friends, who are now also dedicated fans. From the second you step in the door, the atmosphere is friendly and buzzy, along with the delicious aroma. Cocktails to die for, absolutely my go to place for a well made cocktail. The food, never have we had a bad plate and our visits are plentiful. The quality of ingredients is brilliant, Tania is simply delightful, the decor is beautiful - a must visit for everyone ! Gluten free menus, outstanding attention to dietary restrictions, kids menu, just a stunning experience from start to finish, EVERYTIME! thank you team Pieno Lleno for always shining !

This is truly a hidden gem! On our arrival we were given a warm welcome by the friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and has a lovely ambience. And on top of all that, we both enjoyed the excellent food, especially the chimichangas. Thank you for making our evening so pleasurable.

Tasty food, friendly staff, would definitely go again. If I was to be picky, (and I'm sure they would have done this if asked) I'd have loved the option of a bit more spice cooked in, ie. heat level.

Always a friendly welcome. I hadn't been in a while since my partner suffered a serious accident last summer, he's now on crutches and could make the short walk there. My booking notes were read and we were seated in a comfortable booth for 2 with easy access in and out his chair, to the doir and bathroom, Just what we requested. Staff were great, food was great, cocktails were delicious, nice relaxed environment all round.

Burrito placed in box with beans, rice, and guac so was very soggy on arrival. The tortilla fell apart when I tried to take it out of the box. Should have been wrapped in foil. Nachos were pretty mediocre but the guacamole was decent.

First visit for us. Great selection of Margaritas, fabulous ! Lots of choice on menu. Delicious food. Plenty of spice for those who like it. Very busy, so book. Lively vibe, attentive service. We will be back.

Good staff and service . The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the toilet was spotless. Staff are friendly and efficient. The only negative for me was that the fajitas were served burned with excessive spices. Otherwise every thing was good.

We love coming here, always bring new friends that are visiting us. The ladies are so accommodating and friendly, food is brilliant and such good value. Always a buzzy atmosphere any day of the week!

Amazing food came out in good timing , everything was cooked and tasted Amazing. The staff are very polite and very attentive. The lady who was our server done a great job always polite and helpful not just to us but to other staff and customers. I have already recommended this place to several people and planning our next visit. The food portions are very good Just the right sizes we had a sharing platter - main- dessert & 2 drinks each even brought some home with us ! Excellent service thank you for a lovely evening we will be back 😀

Hidden gem of a place and the surrounding location is not the best but once inside the food and service is great. Been a number of times and always hits the spot. Staff are super friendly too and although it’s not a large restaurant, you don’t feel tight on space and the atmosphere is lovely.

We always have a great time whenever we visit Pieno Lleno. Unfortunately it is located in a not so nice area, but don't let that put you off. Once you are inside, you forget about the area you're in. It can feel very cramped in there as the tables are very close together and packed in. The staff are always super friendly and the place is decorated very well. They have a great selection of tasty foods, including some great vegan options.

Had dinner on a Friday night, great Mexican restaurant. Interior decor is very nice, good atmosphere and very good tasty food and portion sizes. Nachos, Tacos and Burrito Bowl were all really good as well as the cocktails and beers. If you haven’t been before I would definitely recommend.

Our favorite food is Mexican. We have traveled all over the Uk, this is the best Mexican food we have found. Tonya was our server, she is incredible! The restaurant is cute and comfy. We had the nachos to start and then we shared two entrees for the four of us. It was perfect!

Great place to eat. Decor is fun as it has just had a revamp. Staff are so friendly and accommodating, especially Tanya, nothing is too much trouble for her. The food is tasty and plentiful, go hungry!! There were 8 in our party and all the food came out together. I would definitely recommend.

Hidden jem of Southend! My families favourite local restaurant. Often visit for birthday meals! Best mexican in Southend, great food and atmosphere. Perfect for families or couples, would recommend!

Great service by both parties involved would use again

We reserved a table between Xmas & New Year and despite the time of year we were unhurried, had a lovely meal and the staff were as pleasant as they always are here, our meals were perfectly cooked, the restaurant is always spotless, the portion sizes are generous and the price was very reasonable.

My girlfriend and I were really impressed with the restaurant from the moment we walked in. It's wonderfully decorated and the food was incredible, particularly the beef fajitas and churros, with generous portions at a good price. The friendly waiter's, Pam and Tanya, topped it off to make it a 10/10 experience! You must get yourself down here! Highly recommend.

The meatball spaghetti was really oily and the wrap had too much sauce in it

Our food was so tasty, and it all arrived to the table hot and fresh. The servers were amazing and really took care of us. Especially as it was my mums birthday and they all came out with the Mexican sombreros on winging happy birthday. It made my mum feel very special. We appreciate the extra time taken to ensure we had an amazing time. The redecoration looked amazing. So authentic , and the ambience was lovely. We can't wait to go back again xx

Both myself and my colleague were disappointed with the change to the layout of the restaurant. The table where we were seated was partitioned away from the rest of the restaurant and we felt segregated from everyone and everything.

I'd have to be given a million pounds just to even consider walking outside this place, saw 2 mouse run around in the dinning area was laughed at by staff when food was raw, and the price was a joke, don't eat here.

Our favourite mexican restaurant! We love coming here. The Southend branch has recently been refurbished and it looks great. The staff were as friendly as ever. So welcoming and attentive. Also great with the kids! The food was excellent as always. Came out quick and was cooked brilliantly. The flavours are just so good, it's delicious. Couldn't recommend it enough. I'm a massive fan of their pulled pork chimichanga main and also their sharing platter starter! So good! Highly recommend, get booked in and visit today!

Shared a lovely evening with family, our youngest member, only two loved the sombrero, child friendly, pleasant staff. Food was excellent, portions big and hot chocolate delicious. Warm, welcoming staff.

Never been to a mexican before but the menu isnt just mexican which is good because it catters for eveyone. Food was really nice as well as the cocktails defo recomend this place,will be returning soon

This was a first time visit for us having been recommended by a friend. The food was excellent & all the staff very polite and friendly.

I had heard good reviews about this place but can't understand why. The food was bland and flavourless. No spice. No heat. My chicken burrito only had 2 pieces of chicken in and my friend's vegetarian burrito had a piece of chicken in that should not have been there. Very overpriced for boring, bland and flavourless food

The food here is always 10/10 but it’s the service that really makes it special. Tanya is always so welcoming & the there is another lady server who is fantastic (I think she’s Spanish but have never caught her name) The whole team are so hospitable checking back to make sure all is well! Definitely a meal out that we look forward to!

Managed to squeeze us in on Friday early evening for my six year old sons last-minute-request for a Mexican birthday-meal. Great service, food was really lovely (I'd love to go back without two young children for a feast) and the staff even came over with sombreros to sing happy birthday!

Our first ever visit to Pieno-Lleno for a birthday meal. A good selection of meals available, with my choice being the Chicken Fajitas. The food arrived piping hot and tasted delicious. We will definitely return in the near future to try out the tacos 👍🏻 Update - Visited another couple of times since and both were just as good as the first visit. Lovely food and good service. 👍🏻

We were treated in a spectacular way. We went because we know the waiter Pedro personally and we were impressed by the good quality of the food and the good service provided. We will definitely come back some other time.
