My favourite lunch time spot! Friendly staff and great vegan food with loads of options

It is a very cute cafe, absolutely loved the menu. The food was so delicious and the lady who runs it is so so nice.

Amazing vegan restaurant. The food is delicious, fresh and filled with love. The ambience is peaceful and grounding. I already visited like 5 times and let me tell you the food hits everytime My favorite food here is the Falafel with Hummus as a starter, the hot chocolate to drink, the carrot cake for dessert and the three fold wrap(Med-style) as a main dish. I will definitely be coming back here. If you like vegan food then this will be your new favorite restaurant.

Me and my best friend came here after being recommended it, the food and drinks were amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful. This is one of the best cafes I’ve been to in Cambridge and will definitely be back. (: If you are vegan or vegetarian I would highly recommend this place!

WOW. Gorgeous, healthy, tasty food, lovely friendly staff. A great start for a first visit. Will look forward to many more visits, and will be recommending to everyone. Can't stress enough how tasty the food was. A lucky find for us as we were actually looking for something else and entered on the spur of the moment. My partner is vegetarian and it was good to see that there was nothing on the menu that she could not eat. I myself enjoy a meat dish, but could eat at Urban Butterfly all day long. A lovely cup of coffee too, which is a bonus.

We have visited Cambridge just for a day out and popped our heads in looking for a hot chocolate to warm up. They were clearly about to close up but served us with a smile and we had two delicious oat milk hot chocolates made with real (vegan) chocolate and a nice chat with the lovely lady who served us. There is a discount for local students and key workers and lots of delicious looking lunch food and snacks available as well as smoothies and milkshakes. Cannot recommend enough!

Had a great lunch here with my family - we had a bit of everything (as my daughter couldn't decide) but highly recommend the superfood Buddha bowl, burger, loaded fries, and Biscoff milkshake! Service was friendly and personal, with great interest taken into where we were from and what prompted our visit. Will definitely return next time we come to Cambridge.

Falafel and salad were delicious! The only place in Cambridge (that I know of) where you can get healthy and delicious salad bowls!! Sonella is very friendly and they prepare the food quickly. Thank you!

We crossed this place post lunch on a hot summer afternoon and went in to grab some vegan icecream and sadly it wasn't good at all. We took the vanilla flavor and it tasted like a gulp of sugar and nothing else! The food may be good but their ice cream is a no-no for me.

The food, drink and atmosphere at urban butterfly is absolutely amazing. The staff are extremely friendly and will happily chat and answer any questions about the food. The menu is delicious and constantly expanding over the time I've been here, particularly reccomend the ice cream and the soups!

A very welcoming little oasis. The smoothies are truly wonderfu Our family, consisting of one vegan, and three people willing to eat healthy food, really enjoyed our lunch at the Urban Butterfly. We devoured two beautifully presented and very tasty Buddha bowls and two excellent painis! Sonal and her family have created a lovely space in which to eat 'well' and we shall all return. Thankyou so much Sonal we all had a really lovely visit to your restaurant.

Really cute place and nice, kind staff. We got there for lunch and got a few different things to share. The falafels and hummus were amazing! The mexican buddha bowl was good but flavors could be improved to mix better. The oriental burger was really really good, we all loved it. The pesto and mozzarella panini was a bit disappointing because there was very little dried tomatoes and the mozzarella wasn’t the best. Overall we enjoyed all of the other things and the experience was nice. The food was priced well for the portion.

As an avid meat-eater, I have always been extremely skeptical of vegan food and if it would ever compare to actual meat. I can confidently say that this place has singlehandedly changed my opinion and it will be the first place I recommend to everyone I know. It is, hands down, one of the best places to get a meal (let alone a vegan one). The atmosphere is incredibly warm and intimate, with a "home-cooked" and "family" vibe. My partner and I had the Thai Oriental Burger, the Samosas, and the loaded fries and they were absolutely divine. Service was very quick. Prices were also very reasonable. I will definitely be back to try everything! 11/10

The food at this café is all vegetarian, my partner was a little bit concerned about not having any meat but that quickly changed when he had his food. The Buddha Bowls were fresh, tasty and unlike anything I've had before. Worth a try if you are going past! (Side note: they don't have a toilet though)

i went recently after trying some of their milkshakes at freshers fair. they arent up on the menu but they are available and she was super lovely and came over to ask me if it was okay. would definitely go again, and theres multiple different milk options which was super lovely. i recommend them to everyone i meet

Superb. No fuss or gimmicks. Straight forward fresh, well thought out, well flavoured fresh food. Stopped for lunch as part of a day out. One of us vegetarian and one not. If all vegetarian food available was as good as this, then I think there would be more vegetarians. Certainly will be heading back, so our thanks to Urban Butterfly; the highlight of our day.

Went for lunch here with colleagues. Delicious food and really lovely service. I had samosas which were tasty and crispy. The chips had the most amazing seasoning. I look forward to going back on our next visit to Cambridge.

Really tasty vegan food. Soups, panini and a delicious Thai inspired burger. The best bit is that everything is freshly prepared from real food - no over processed fake meat. Highly recommended.

I had a delicious meal that was gluten free, dairy free and egg free. The granola bar was scrumptious. I also had tomato and red pepper soup that was chunky and garnished with crispy onions. The Moroccan Buddha bowl was fantastic, hummus with pomegranate seeds, cucumber, chick peas, carrots over greens. The proprietor is so nice! A very enjoyable experience!!

Excellent vegan eatery! Portions are very sufficient and packed with flavour. Perfect for a healthy breakfast/brunch or lunch. The staff were incredibly friendly and the falafel was to die for! Also, vegan vanilla ice cream is one of the nicest I've ever had. 10/10

Was walking along Andrew road to the main road and chanced to see this quant little cafe by a quainter name Urban Butterfly..! Very unassuming in appearance, could be easily missed but entering it, had beautiful vibes, warm welcoming service and the best assortment of vegan and plant health test tasty food I have ever come across. Not only deserved to be my regular haunt but would also be in my rare highly recommended list. All the best and pray that more outlet branches flower.

I had the samosa with a dip, and a slice of carrot cake. Both delicious, and the best samosa I have ever eaten! The samosa was cooked fresh so I had to wait a few minutes for it to cook but worth it. I'm going back to try the falafel next!

Just opened Vegan and vegetarian eat in or take away lovely place and outstanding service by the staff. Highly recommended it. Panni, salad cakes and ice-cream how can you forget the coffee please go and try it ser fir yourself

Food was prepared fresh to order which meant there was a bit of wait for it but it was good and worth the wait. Staff were friendly and the whole place is clean and nicely furnished. Good to have more vegan options in town.

We stopped at Urban Butterfly during a visit to Cambridge for an afternoon coffee and ended up getting a really amazing Moroccan salad and a delicious legume panini with pesto. My friend normally eats vegetarian while I am a bit more picky about salads, but even I had to admit how tasty both meals were. We were also lucky to meet the very warm and friendly owner, which added to the delight of our experience. The coffee wasn’t quite as great and hopefully that improves, but the food is more than enough reason to check this place out!

Just popped in here on my walk to the train station and had the best experience. Super friendly staff and delicious freshly made to order food. I had a Caprese Panini and an Iced Coffee - would highly recommend. Will be my new go-to on my way in/out of Cambridge.

Excellent place; the samosas were divine, the vegan ice cream refreshing and the coffee solid. The owners are warm and welcoming with a beautiful breeze wafting in from Parker’s Pieces, the design & decor harken to the Mediterranean.

This new vegan cafe in Cambridge offers incredibly good vegan Vanilla icecream! I was probably one of the first few customers and they were so kind and offered me a free coffee too which was indeed great! Judging by the taste of ice-cream and the friendly and passionate owner I'm sure the food is gonna be great too! Cambridge gets another promising vegan hangout spot!
