Ordered the burrito bow with pork and it was amazing and super delicious. My friend ordered the loaded nachos and it looked incredible as well. First time visiting and will definitely come back and recommend this place.

A tiny place, with just a few tables, serving excellent Mexican food. My only quibble is it would be great to have a plate as I was conscious of dropping bits of burrito everywhere, so maybe better for takeaway.

Restaurant is lovely with a nice layout and comfortable seating, cute decorations too. My friend and I ordered the burrito bowls - they were so good! Hot, spicy, and full of flavour. We also ordered tortilla chips with dips which were delicious. Will definitely visit again.

I'm definitely over 20+ burrito bowls in now, am I broke yes, do I care? no. Avo is the place to go, super fresh and is the closest to traditional Mexican flavours as you will get in Norwich.

We ate lunch here on Sat 20 April. We have eaten here quite a few times now and always receive a warm welcome. This is a small place which is consistently busy. The decor is lovely and the food always delicious, cooked to order and fresh. You can eat in or take food away. There are a few tables inside as well as outside, which makes for a relaxed environment watching the bustling street right outside the door. My wife has a gluten, dairy and egg free diet but this is never an issue as there is plenty of choice. The staff here do a fantastic job of keeping busy and everyone happy. We always enjoy our time here when we visit Norwich and would definitely recommend to others.

Had a really great experience at Avo - The food is delicious, the burrito size is second to none, and the staff are really friendly. I ordered the large burrito rather than the regular, and actually couldn't finish it. Definitely recommend Avo if you're looking for a fantastic burrito!

Comparing the Liang Kee burrito in London, after accounting for the service charge in London, the price of the two restaurants is almost the same, but the quantity is twice as large! Is there any fee here? The wrap contains red beans, beef, tomatoes, avocado, rice, purple cabbage, chicken, and more! A huge, huge portion. The three of us boys each ordered a large size wrap, which was very, very good! awesome!

Ordered online, they cancelled order and turned off deliveroo when it states they’re open

Ordered takeaway, quite small burritos and just full of rice with a watery chilli sauce, I ordered extra cheese, there was no cheese, partner had ordered jalapeños and received none. Certainly won’t order again.

I thought this was delicious, the quality of the ingredients really cut through and the jackfruit was crispy and far tastier than I usually find it. Lovely seasoning and garlicky yumness. However: felt a bit stingy with the condiments and some more guac / cheese etc would have pushed it over the edge for me. Rounded up to 5 anyway and will give it another go

Quiet possibly the best burrito you can get in Norwich. The taste of the chicken burrito was incredible. You have to pair anything you eat here with a glass bottle or Jarritos soda. 10/10 recommend.

This is my favourite place to eat at the moment. They do delivery as well which is perfect for a lazy lunch. The burritos and nachos are so good, I dream of them!

Arrived here early Saturday morning after getting off the train from Cambridge. My wife and I decided to stop here for breakfast because my wife looked then up during the week. We were not let down at all because the place was decorated nicely, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! My wife is gluten egg and dairy free, and that did not present any problems because everything was prepared freshly on site. We ordered 2 burrito bowls which were packed full of healthy, fresh and tasty ingredients which we really enjoyed. A little gem of a place. You wnt be dissapointed.

Been meaning to visit Avo for a while now and finally got around to! I went for the large burrito and drink deal which was very filling! Good options and friendly staff.

I wasn't as up for this as my partner, but my god, I'm glad he persuaded me! We had a pulled pork burrito and a steak burrito. They were incredible!! I had a large, which was just right, but my partner had the regular and did say we wished he sized up. It was the tastiest burrito I've had (and we end up eating a lot of Mexican food when we're out!).; Even better they had Jarritos, which was amazing, and they had every flavour (the mango is delicious). It's been a week, and I'm already dying to go back. We sat in, and the atmosphere was lovely. Simply amazing.

So glad I ended up trying this place, but now I’m sad that this place isn’t in London. I got the O.G. (chicken) burrito and the flavour was literally perfect. All the ingredients are flavourful and fresh, the guacamole is amazing. Beautifully wrapped too, and my burrito stayed warm for a while.

Wow, I’d heard good things and never been but I’m so glad I did !! Everyone was so so lovely, the place is gorgeous and the food was incredible. Normally Mexican food in the UK is a miss but this place has it down ! My burrito was actually nice and spicy and perfectly filled. I just got home from eating there and had to write a review, everything was so lovely and the people (again - can’t stress it enough) were amazing!! Can’t wait to go back soon :))

Avo Burrito had to meet certain criteria. 1) Have a rating of 4 or more stars on Trip Advisor 2) Be a local business rather than a chain 3) Be able to provide gluten free options. Really friendly staff and interesting story on how this came about plus we all had a fantastic meal. This is mainly a takeaway but a couple of tables allow you to sit in (which we did) and local beer as well plus a shot of tequila! I can see why this has such good ratings on TripAdvisor, Google reviews etc. and will definitely go back.

I lived on the US West Coast for 30 years and found Burritos in the UK were very hit and miss, but Avo nails it perfectly. The owner was super friendly and gave me some of the back story behind the business while I enjoyed an amazing pork burrito that had the right proportions of ingredients so it was was neither sloppy or dry... I'll be eating here many times over the next few years...

Excellent burritos, I had the large steak fully loaded with habaneros and my wife had a regular chicken, also fully loaded. The steak was amazing, great flavour and tender. Chicken was equally good. Even the tortillas were something special! Everything was so fresh and flavourful. Great talking with the owner, so passionate about burritos! We will definitely be back for more!

Saw the sign and decided to opt for something different for lunch. My husband had the chicken burrito with all chillies (he's a spice lover), and I had the pork burrito bowl (minus chilli and cheese. The food was quick, served in recyclable packaging and so tasty. This was lunch with a difference and hit the mark. We were both really happy with our meals (we had tortilla chips on the side) and came away fed and happy. Well done Avo, we highly recommend you👍👍👍

Happened upon Avo by accident really, just wandering through Norwich and fancied a burrito for lunch! Avo has a lovely vibe as soon as you walk in, it's only a small place with a few tables, but we were lucky as there were two raised seats in the window so we could watch the world go by. At Avo you place your order at the counter and the food is brought to you, we ordered the OG (chicken) and the Notorious P.I.G. with extra jalapeno and habanero which were both gorgeous! We like our food spicy and the hot sauce that was on the table really gave us a run for our money. We each had a pint of beer which was good too (can't remember the name but my husband said it tasted similar to Neck Oil?). All in all - the staff, food and ambience of Avo is spot on. Welcoming and good food, can't really ask for much more. We got chatting to the owner (sorry, didn't catch your name) but you can really tell that the business is his baby and we really hope it takes off for him. If we're ever back in the area again, we'll definitely be back.

I've got only great things to say about Avo . Not only is their food delicious and cooked with love, but they've got a warm and friendly vibe that sticks with you after you leave. They care about their people and it shows: both the customers they welcome in with broad smiles and the local businesses they are keen to support. I've had a few of their burritos, all wonderful, with the O.G being my absolute favourite! I've got a lot of time for the tenderness of the adobo chicken (thighs are the truth!) and the surprise of crunchy bacon bits in their refried beans. My hope is to get as many people hooked on to their stuff as possible, to selfishly keep them open all week! They deserve all the success I'm sure is incoming. Keep it up guys.
