Lavenham is a beautiful place but what makes it special is this beautiful tea rooms. Run by a super friendly lady passionate about great service, this is a place you just come in by chance to have a cup of tea but once inside you want to have a full breakfast and then stay for lunch and dinner. And then come back again next day and do it all over and over and over … Highly recommend this place and thank the owner for making this place so special and adorable with its decor, ambiance, food and drinks and service.

Me and my wife had a lovely afternoon tea for two. I like ordering before we arrive so we know we will get what we have ordered. It is expensive compared to other places but the quality is better. My only gripe is the service charge being added to the bill. We asked for this to be removed but this is happening at more and more places and it's really annoying. Does this go to the staff or are you trying to improve your profit margin?

This is an exceptional restaurant which is a must visit if you are in the area. The tasting menu is great value and there was not one dish that was a disappointment. Imaginative and clever flavour pairing made for a complete experience. Staff were great and the whole place is clearly a labour of love. Do go!

Lovely venue quick efficient staff friendly clean venue and delicious! Venue is accessible clean always quick service great portions of food hot drinks! Variety!

Cakes to die for! Amazing cakes, came for afternoon tea and was not disappointed. I had heard so much about this place and it was amazing. Highly recommended.

We went for a Christmas dinner The food was lovely tasty and good quality ,we all had prawn cocktails, and main course loin of cod ,this was a very big piece ,thick and white very tasty served with vegetables The turkey looked very nice ,but we gad fish for a change ,then aftereight cheese cake cheese biscuits . We had breakfast the next day . Very good quality produce used It's our favourite resturant when visiting Great Yarmouth Tina Sam Sandra

Our daughter’s 30th birthday bash last night, with private dinning, absolutely amazing food, amazing staff, could not fault anything. They could not do enough for us and made the evening special. Will definitely be back.

Had a falafel wrap and like always it is the most amazing falafel in the city! It was very busy due to the closure but it is worth the wait. You can tell they are passionate about what they do and work so hard. Thank you for all the food over the years ❤️ Good luck to your future endeavours

We popped in for cake and coffee one freezing afternoon to find it well supported by customers together with a lovely real fire. There is absolutely nothing to fault.

Visited on Mother's Day, and it was a lovely treat. We sat upstairs where it was nice and quiet. The pancake selection of both saboury and sweet was fantastic and the fact they can offer GF and vegan options too is great. Our lovely waitress also said they could adapt many of the others on the list too. We also ordered milkshakes (so great!) but next time I'm trying the hot chocolate. In fact I want to try the whole menu so I'll definitely be coming back on repeat. Such a unique little place, love it!

I was on holiday by Cromer and thought we’d give this cafe a try as we had our shih tzu (yogi) with us and didn’t want to leave him out of the holiday!! This place is lovely and had a great atmosphere all around the restaurant. I was very impressed with the gorgeous decorations around the restaurant. You can definitely tell that the staff are very experienced in what they do as well as they looked after yogi very well and had a very positive attitude towards customers! Hope I’ll visit again sometime! Thank you! 🐶💕

Beautifully fresh food, friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. A good mix of clientele- family, friends and couples. Scones served with tiptree jam and Rhoddas clotted cream. Yummy.

LOVED IT! We walked from the gym (NR12 Fitness) to visit them after we had peeked in the window the day before when they were closed. But we liked the look of it so we came back, and were so very glad that we did. It's a small spot and easy to miss if you're in a hurry. But it legit feels cozy versus cramped. Like a Tardis almost. ;-) It was a cold, blustery Norfolk day near Christmas, so I created a bit of a stir when I walked in still wearing my gym shorts. Bad planning on my part, but the outdoor seating area, which is covered with plenty of heaters, was plenty warm and inviting to heat my legs. The two women who were there (the owners? -- I sadly did not ask but should have) were absolutely lovely. And while the menu isn't extensive, it has plenty to choose from. I had a bacon doorstop, and have not stopped thinking about the perfectly cooked fried egg soaking into that thick but light and fluffy white bread with the bacon to tie it all together. PLUS THERE IS CAKE! We took a slice of Victoria Sponge to go, which did not disappoint. They had other things as well but you'll have to check the photos from other reviews to see what others have enjoyed. Sadly, it was their last day for the season when we visited, but we'll be back in the summer, and will definitely see them again. You should too!
