Visited on Mother's Day, and it was a lovely treat. We sat upstairs where it was nice and quiet. The pancake selection of both saboury and sweet was fantastic and the fact they can offer GF and vegan options too is great. Our lovely waitress also said they could adapt many of the others on the list too. We also ordered milkshakes (so great!) but next time I'm trying the hot chocolate. In fact I want to try the whole menu so I'll definitely be coming back on repeat. Such a unique little place, love it!

Yonna has an excellent and wonderfully unique menu that is exceptional and very well executed. Wonderful service and timely. I highly recommend this beautiful experience. Worth the drive if you live away. I definitely will return!

We saw this in TripAdvisor, so when we passed it driving in we had to go find it. Sit upstairs if you can as it is really lovely and peaceful. Downstairs works if you need a high-chair or find stairs difficult. We just need somewhere to relax and talk. We had savoury pancakes, but our mouths watered at everything going past us. If we'd had more time we would have tried the sweet options. Coffees were good and the range of loose leaf teas is extensive.

Stunning food, beautiful decor and very attentive staff. The pancakes were served all looking completely different from one another and all tasted incredible. It was the first time I’d ever been here, but certainly not the last.

Hugely disappointing. My partner had been in here with her sister and the kids last year and they all had sweet pancakes and said they were lovely. We visited on Saturday the 23rd of September. I had crispy bacon and onion pancakes and my partner had the Eggs Benedict ones. The Bacon wasn't crispy and hadn't been drained. The onions certainly were not crispy. The pancakes were stodgy and lukewarm and unfortunately tasted of fat as the bacon and onions were not drained. The Egg Benedict one was insipid and lukewarm. Service was lachodasical at best.

We just popped in on the off chance and wow, pancakes savoury, pancakes sweet a hive of deliciousness in every bite. We had a tour of the upstairs and the decor is very stylish lovely place to eat, lovely people that work to bring your mouthwatering delights. Going back Friday for more.

Visited this lovely place 2 days running & I can honestly say all the food & drinks we have were absolutely superb. Great presention, everything tasted superb & all served by friendly, smiley staff. If we lived locally, this would be a regular place for us. Nothing to fault whatsoever.

The pancakes were terrific, so tasty. The ambiance of the place, the service, were all good. We tried one savoury and one sweet pancake. Both were great. They have vegan choices and can adjust some as well.

Great atmosphere - clearly a popular spot as the place was almost packed out! The pancakes were excellent, so much so we all ordered a second round to finish off with something sweet. All this topped off with brilliant service. I'll definitely be visiting again!

Whilst spending the afternoon in Stowmarket, the missus and I visited Petite Pancakes as the website said they were good for Gluten Free options. This is possibly an understatement as most everything on the menu could be adapted to Gluten Free, a dream for my Coeliac wife. We started off with some savoury pancakes and they went for the sweet options after. Whilst chatting with the lovely waitress, we mentioned this was our first wedding anniversary. A while later another lady came from the kitchen and came over to us and said “I’ve just heard the news!”. She was carrying a large platter with the words “Many Happy Years” made out of edible pancake mix and with sprinkles & sauces. What a lovely gesture - this really made our day! So we have fantastic food, friendly staff, and wonderful Gluten Free options: Jackpot!!! Only sad we couldn’t take them all with us. Petite Pancakes, we will be back!

I'm quite glad I don't live nearby to Petite Pancakes as I just wouldn't be able to resist them. The pancakes ( sweet and savoury) are delicious, the children's portions are just the right size and they offer gluten free and vegan options. A lovely place to go for a sweet treat.

I had the Banana and Nutella one and I've been thinking about them for the past 5 days. I'm so glad I don't live in stowmarket or I would be forever fat... however I will be visiting next time I'm at the in-laws! Also the smoothies are incredible too

The atmosphere, the staff and the food is great. But do not order 5 pancakes to go and expect 5 pancakes, you'll only get one. This wouldn't necessarily be a problem if we were informed we would only be getting one pan sized pancake - even when the waitress knew we were planning to share them.

A recent visit with my son for his birthday and not a great experience, sadly stood ages waiting for our pre booked table then after 15 mins i went downstairs to ask for some service as we seem to have been forgotten, the drinks when they arrived were with warm glasses, the chicken n mushroom pancake was without the cheese as they app had none? And sadly the service was hit n miss, there used to be a lovely lady there who was so on the ball when we've been before but app she's left well thats not a return for us sadly unless service is improved 😏

Popped in to eat as halfway point on our journey and was not disappointed. Staff were wonderful, the space was really nice too - the upstairs in particular. Food was great - we all had different dishes and were very pleased. They also had their full Covid game on and are amongst the best I've experienced in handling all of this. Give them a go.

Amazing Pancakes- sat outside in the sunshine looking for a bite to eat. Welcomed by the friendly host, ordered gluten free smoked salmon and cream cheese. The most delicious pancakes I’ve ever had. Inside was the salmon and cheese with spinach leaf and avocado. They was more than enough and I was full. Definitely coming back to try the menu out.

I was lucky enough to be taken for an afternoon tea to Petite Pancakes on Sunday. I had never been before as do not live nearby, but I was delighted by the beautiful food and relaxed surroundings. We received great attention from the waitress/owner who was very friendly and welcoming. It was a perfect twist on a traditional afternoon tea, with innovative tastes and delicious savouries...the salmon and cream cheese mini pancake was the best I've ever eaten.I would highly recommend it as an all-round great experience and hope to be able to return again soon.

We were in Suffolk celebrating my mum’s 70th birthday and this was the food highlight of the week. The service was spot on and we were impressed with how they had adapted to the COVID rules. The pancakes (I had the eggs benedict) were delicious as was the hot chocolate and smoothie. Well worth a visit!

Excellent little place. Outstanding pancakes. Good customer service but disappointing that I am sure was just a misunderstanding but I feel this should be stated on the menu if there’s a extra charge I asked for skinny milk with milkshake was told no skinny milk but alternative milk I was looking for a low calorie one was told most popular options was coconut milk I said fine after goggling this was high calorie I was offered vegan options with my pancakes I explained not vegan wanted as menu said didn’t realise was charged extra £2 for the alternative milk. Was very disappointed would never have the milk shake again the Mix another small business and excellent cafe offer alternative milk without extra charge But the oaty pancakes with normal whipped cream is wonderful

We have visited here several times over the last few years and it's always been very lovely. The staff are friendly and service has been good despite the pressures and differences working in this current climate must bring. The pancakes are always lush and they cater for a variety of dietary requirements plus we ate here ridiculously cheap under the eat out to help out scheme! Well worth a visit

I am sorry to have to write this review, we have visited this restaurant several times and always been satisfied. Today however was not good. We booked a table for 1.30 arrived promptly and were taken upstairs. Their were two ladies at one table and us at another. We waited ten minutes and the waitress arrived, the ladies at the other table asked where there food was as they were in their lunch hour, by this time it was already 1.40 plus. We asked the waitress for a menu as their were none on the table. The waitress disappeared and came back and told the two ladies their food would be with them shortly. She then took our order. By this time it was about 1.50. The waitress bought the food for the other ladies, who quickly ate their food and left. We waited and waited and waited. The young waitress appeared and said I will see where your food has got to. We waited and waited. An older waitress came up and commented that they had been busy, by this time we were the only two upstair. My husband commented that he felt we had waited too long. She replied I’m a busy person, I commented so am I, to which she replied do you want to go then. I said I want to know how long it’s going to be. She went to find out and came back upstairs and said two minutes are you staying. Her attitude was appalling. We eventually got served at 2.23 nearly an hour for two pancakes. When we went to pay the bill the rude waitress said to my husband you didn’t order until 1.53. I said that’s not our fault, we waited at least 10 minutes for a menu. Consequently the two stars are for the pancakes. Wont be back.

A really lovely place to go for food and drink. The food is sourced from high quality local suppliers and it tells. I've visited a few times and never had a bad experience. Great decor throughout, and the upstairs has a lovely quiet area if required.I suffer from celiac (gluten) and the range of different pancakes and food is excellent, in fact before I found Petite Pancakes all I could get to eat in town was either a Subway sandwich (if they had any GF bread in stock) or a biscuit from Costa!The coffees are truly well made, the Latte being my favourite, with the three layers expertly made. The staff are always most welcoming and up for a chat if they are not too busy, and I've just realised that on a Sunday they also setup a marquee close by in the square, to enjoy the sunnier weather.All in all a superb restaurant, great food, brilliant staff and in my opinion great value for money. Enjoy.

Not from Stowmarket but had an hour to kill before an appointment and stumbled across this little gem. The pancakes were amazing, the staff really friendly and helpful.They have also taken Covid-19 seriously and spaced everyone out nicely but avoiding the feeling that we are all contagious! Details taken upon entrance to allow contact to be made if any incidents occur. The upstairs layout is beautiful and the place has a real chabby chic vibe throughout. The pancake selection is insane, crazy ones as well as the more traditional. There is not much else worth a visit restaurant wise in this area except this!

Have been here several times. If you have only ever eaten traditional style pancakes you really must give this place a try. They have a great variety of savoury & sweet pancakes all cooked to perfection & very tasty. There is also a good selection of drinks including wonderful milk shakes. The service is very friendly albeit a little slow but it is well worth the wait.

My second visit and my friends first to this amazing little place. The pancake choice is amazing savoury and sweet. It was my friends birthday and they even did a happy birthday in pancake batter on their plate. Will be visiting again and bringing my mum for her birthday. Seriously scrummy, give it a try!!

Owner was lovely but service was very, very slow as they were busy and obviously understaffed. We both had ham and cheese pancakes but there was too little cheese to notice it was there. The pancakes themselves were good and would have been just as good without the filling as I couldn’t taste it. My wife had sweet pancakes with apple, cinnamon and maple syrup to follow and they were much better than the savoury ones. However, it took ages between courses.The upstairs room was pleasant albeit a little cold next to the window. In all we were a bit disappointed considering the reviews and will probably not go back but if we do we would be selective about what we ordered.We still wish the owners well and hope they continue to succeed- perhaps taking not of my criticisms to improve further.

Finding things to do during Storm Dennis, found this place online and made a visit. Very nice staff, welcoming and friendly. Pancakes are hot and delicious. Coffee is very nice! Lots of seating upstairs. Would visit again if in the area.

Popped in for breakfast whilst in Stowmarket. Greeted with a warm smile and seated at a nicely presented window table upstairs. Delighted to see that not only do they do gluten free pancakes, they also make buckwheat pancakes using soya milk for both of these. This expanded the choice for me as a coeliac and anyone who is lactose intolerant. We had the full breakfast buckwheat pancakes and the traditional with lemon and sugar. They were just gorgeous. Service is attentive without being over bearing. Well worth a visit any time of day.

A great warm welcome, very attentive staff, nothing to too much trouble. Very, very good selection on the menu, so hard to choose sweet or savory. Fab for the little ones too with their own little menu. My 2 year old loved his petite pancakes.. Will definitely be returning.

Really blown away on our first experience here. Massively warm welcome by Nadine, attentive service, incredibly tasty pancakes, great options for all the family for both food and drink. Pancakes as elaborate or simple as you like, served quickly, all delicious. Young son given the most warm and friendly welcome, provided with age appropriate things to entertain him and older teenage children also made to feel special. All left knowing we can't wait to come back, thank you. Also had a peak upstairs which looks great. Completely different atmosphere from downstairs and can't wait to come and try that also.

We are so impressed with the quality of food and service at Petite Pancakes, that we bring all visiting members of the family to enjoy the excellent lunches. Petite Pancakes is one of the great highlights of a visit to Stowmarket.

This has got to be the very best of the best Pancake houses I know. I am amazed at the manner in which the service is tops and the menues are mouthwatering ideas and certainly the pancakes with there delicious sections of creams toffee and ice cream Just fantatstic. Again a super place to visit.

We’ve visited petite pancakes as a family a few times. The children love the sweet choices & amazing milkshakes. We like the really tasty savoury pancakes and coffee.

First visit and definitely not the last had breakfast pancakes portions were very generous flavour fab staff were very friendly and explained about the more relaxed seating for adults upstairs. Would recommend to anyone wanting something a little different lots of choice and flavours.

We visited Petite Pancakes out of local interest and were well received. I’m usually pretty sensible about what we eat, so the large, sweet and Carb rich serving was a bit overwhelming. I didn’t finish mine. It’ll be loved by people who think that more is better, and avoided by the diet conscious.

Took my mum (in her 80’s) and 18 year old daughter for a brunch/breakfast treat. Beautiful light and airy little cafe shopfront, located directly on the corner of the main crossroads between Market Place and the church with beautiful steeple (St Peter’s?). Easy to get to within 5 minutes of the Museum of East Anglian Life /Asda car parks. What a fantastic warm welcome from Nadine, and I loved how caring and thoughtful she was (making way for mum’s walking frame, offering to open her juice bottle and pour, since she’d spotted mum having the hand shakes a bit). The premises is much larger than it first appears; rather like the Tardis it goes on and on, in this case upwards. They’ve divided it up to provide a family friendly ground floor, with two other equally attractive rooms upstairs for grown ups and groups. Menu was extensive, with sweet and savoury pancakes galore, even vegan and gluten-free options. We all went with Nadine’s seasonal speciality, which ends once all the locally-grown English strawberries are gone. I loved Nadine’s enthusiastic menu descriptions, and how her family business is relying on and supporting other local suppliers of produce, dairy and eggs. Modestly priced too, it’s a highly affordable way to treat the kids and an ideal place to meet up with friends and family. Very happy to rate this place so highly as it was delicious food and drinks, with a wonderfully friendly yet nicely informal ambiance. Nadine’s represents everything that’s great about the “shop/eat local” independent business sector. Support her, people! I’ll definitely return next time I’m visiting Stowmarket.

Every Sunday we stop at a cafe for coffee as part of our cycle group. This week we stopped at Petite Pancakes. The decor is very modern and seating is very comfortable. Our hosts were very welcoming and catered for every need and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great visit (including making sure our bikes were safe). I highly recommend the omelette, the pancakes looked really delicious and the smoothies were superb.

I come here loads with the kids. Child friendly, to-die-for pancakes, reasonable prices, lovely staff, quick service, lovley decor and free self-service water/ice/lemon (saves the embarrassment of asking for a free drink!) I can't fault it.

The most welcoming of places to stop for a coffee you could imagine! Excellent service from the very attentive staff, nothing was too much trouble! Can thoroughly recommend the pancakes as fuel for cycling, they made the journey home very enjoyable! We will be back!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the food (I had a pulled pork pancake) was delicious and made from locally sourced ingredients. The cafe itself is very cute, but if you are asked if you want to sit upstairs then do! It is just lovely!

Visited Petite Pancakes on a visit to Stowmarket for The OVO Womens Tour.

This café is right in the centre of Stowmarket, and just like it says above the door serves pancakes. There are sweet fillings, savoury fillings, and fillings. We were looking for a breakfast, and TripAdvisor suggested this place. It was a bulls-eye. Lovely friendly staff, a vast selection of pancakes, I went for a new one, fried onions, bacon and syrup. If only I lived nearer, I would be a regular. Everything is cooked to order, so service is not super speedy, but who cares, grab a window seat and watch the citizens of Stowmarket go past.

This is a lovely little cafe, the staff are brilliant and go the extra bit. We had a lovely breakfast here with local produce. We observed the owner take blankets out for the table outside for the guests to put on their chairs, she also took a bowl of milk out for their dog and some chopped up pancake.

Quaint little shop with a pleasant atmosphere. Tasty food and lots of fillings to choose from. Lovely to have an individual retailer bringing a bit of character to a market town. Much nicer than chain stores.
