Do not be fazed by repeated graffiti on roll down shutters if closed when you visit - Littlehaven far from abandoned. Best coffee I have found in Norwich, and three different types of hot chocolate; white, dark and light. Recommend the Venezuela hot choc highly. Sandwiches on good bread, generous and creative salads and cosy ambience... A neighbourhood secret too good not to share.

Just outside the city centre and tucked away in a quiet side street, this is such a friendly little cafe. We had a cappuccino and a hot chocolate (my wife was very impressed by the range of hot chocolate on offer). The tables and chairs were comfy (mostly for two people at each table) and the person running it was super kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend it

0 complaints about Littlehaven - the name could not be more appropriate. Cozy and clean, nice coffee, nice atmosphere, friendly customers and attentive host - thank you Simon. Prices are too good for rather bougie yet tasty food. If you don’t want to fund the conglomerates Costa and Starbucks, this is just as good and you’re guaranteed to feel like it’s a much more personal experience. From Scotland, not here long but I will be making sure Littlehaven gets my custom daily while I am here.

What an incredible little coffee shop, its a hidden treasure in the city. Went there last night with a few neighbours to experience the amazing food as it opens some evenings as a pop up restaurant. Wonderful service and the food was excellent. The coffee is also the best I have tasted in a long time. I would highly recommend a visit for a coffee, cake or breakfast, and while you are there ask them when the next pop up evening.

Went in with my daughter for breakfast. It felt welcoming and it is 'small but perfectly formed'. The staff are friendly and helpful and it is warm, nicely presented and spotlessly clean. We chose scramble egg and poached egg on teastboth with extra salmon. Lovely, perfectly cooked and very reasonable with good quality coffee made with organic milk. What's not to like?

I stumbled along this lovely little cafe while my daughter was cricket training round the corner. I’m not familiar with the area and did a cafe search and all that came up was Chapelfield. I found this tranquil, but centre of hubbab cafe, tucked away in a street of terrace houses, what a find! I was in a hurry and was starving and just wanted some take away sandwiches and tea. I could not make my mind up, lots of choices on the menu, the gentleman could not have been more helpful. I will definitely be back when I’m next at cricket.

I brought my little girl and her friends out for hot chocolate on a particularly cold day. It was wonderful. Simon took the orders from each of the girls, matching types of hot chocolate (white /milk /dark) with favoured sugar sprinkles (rose/cinnamon /gingerbread). This is a small place with only 3 or 4 tables but it provides a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The gentleman serving when we visited was really friendly and clearly has pride in his work. The tea and brownie I had was lovely (the Teapigs tea here is around 30p cheaper than some of the city centre cafes) and my other half really enjoyed his coffee and raspberry muffin. Nice enough little cafe. People seem to come for the coffee, which I can't comment on, not being an expert. So, judging it on food, tea and atmosphere alone, I'd have to say that it's fourth for me in Norwich, after The Window (fab, friendly atmosphere and location), The Greengrocer (amazing food lovely staff) and Cafe Marzano (location, opening hours and choice of beverages). In short, if you're not a coffee-obsessive (and even if you are I'm reliably informed that The Window is some of the best coffee in the UK) then this is a bit out of the way to trek over to (I tried three times before I could find it, and then find it open) if you're on a visit to Norwich.

As a regular user of Little Haven I felt having read the last review that a semblance of normality should resume. I will visit every time I am in the city and yesterday was no exception. My usual coffee and muffin was great as ever. It was busy so just shared a table with another customer and joined in the chat and banter with customers and staff alike. I had just been for a run so was a little warm but had changed my shirt however this did not go unnoticed and was certainly not issue. I will as ever visit again and encourage anyone to do the same. And when you have been we can all go round to Newbedouins house and they can wash my sweaty running gear unless of course they have a sign up already saying that you are not allowed to do that. They are correct of course when they say it doesn't take much time or intellect to calculate the cost of electricity, it takes far less intelligence of course to ensure your laptop is charged before you go out and if your work depends on it one could suggest is essential. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but base reviews on the service provided not the ability to charge your personal electronic devices

This is a fantastic little coffee shop, serving truly the best coffee in Norwich. I absolutely love my coffee and i have to say this place is amazing and one of my absolute favourite places to go! Owner is lovely and has a kind of homely feel!! Keep doing what your doing its working!!

I swear Norwich has more great independent coffee places per capita than any other city in the Uk. I just keep finding more. Anyway Littlehaven is exactly that, a quiet little place just off the busy Newmarket road and a haven for coffee lovers everywhere. I love the coziness of this cafe and the fact that it's so close to me, but the service is excellent too and the coffee - magnificent. It's also a great place for coffee nerds, offering drip brew coffee makers that wouldn't look out of place in a mad scientist's lab and a range of lunches and cakes that look scrumptious. Highly recommended.

The best places often take a bit of finding, which is the case with Littlehaven, but if you appreciate artisan coffee and food it's so worth it!

Had a falafel wrap and like always it is the most amazing falafel in the city! It was very busy due to the closure but it is worth the wait. You can tell they are passionate about what they do and work so hard. Thank you for all the food over the years ❤️ Good luck to your future endeavours

Came here with friends recently for the first time. Staff are very friendly, food and drink taste great and good sized portions, and plenty of great board games on offer. A great experience overall!

Lovely cafe with friendly staff and delicious food and coffee. Seating inside and outside. Breakfast, brunch and lunch with a healthy emphasis and a bit of effort put in to make the dish special. You can also get sausage/bacon rolls and similar if you like. The cakes looked amazing but I was too full up to try one. Really good vegan and gluten-free options.
