The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East of England

What a great place. They had closed early due to the weather when we arrived very wet after having been caught in a thunder storm. But they gladly made us coffee and hot chocolate which were delicious and allowed us to stay and warm up a bit. Awesome coffee, amazing staff. I just wish we could have got there earlier so we could try the cakes. I will certainly go there again

It’s just a lovely place to be. Absolutely deserves 5* for food, service and the general atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely morning coffee and cake for our son.

A beautiful cafe with an extensive menu. We dropped in last minute without booking… The staff were very accommodating and found us a table. Service was fast and the food was very filling and tasty. Parking onsite too We’ll be back! Definitely recommend booking as it’s very popular

After seeing the reviews for this place we thought we eould give it a go. So glad we did. Amazing coffee and pastries with friendly service. This is the coffee shop for us in Norwich when we return.

Fabulous food. All the staff are really friendly & helpful. We always visit here when in Bishops Stortford. Well worth a visit.

So good we went twice! Stayed just down the road and had heard about the pies - they did not disappoint!!! The pub was friendly and welcoming with great food, dog friendly too. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Just driving by and fancied a bite to eat and called in. Just excellent. The two young waitresses were lovely and could not be more helpful. I ordered off menu and they accommodated me with no fuss at all. The food is very plentiful and very hot and tastes great. This is an excellent example of a brilliant small independent cafe serving great food at good prices. I will definitely call here again and highly recommended you do.

Visited to buy food for breakfast and lunch. The shop is tiny but is absolutely packed with delicious food. We came away with almond croissants, a loaf of sourdough bread, salami, a delicious courgette quiche, some superb local butter from Bungay and a round of Baron Bigod cheese. This was all consumed very quickly and we’re planning our next raid.

Stopped in for a drink and breakfast/brunch. The cafe was a little busy so we went to the the other building they had a door down which was decorated lovely inside - nice big olive? tree? Order on the app and they bring the drinks and food across from the other building. Terry’s Orange Hot Chocolate was very good and tasty. Had a toasted sandwich - again very tasty. The menu is small but different offerings which were nice.

Chocolate making workshop for a hen party. So much fun! Sarah and her team gave us 100%, so cheery and accommodating. The experience was perfect for a chilled and relaxed hen, not complicated and able to have some Prosecco and giggle away. Thank you Sarah’s creative kitchen for some fun memories

An INCREDIBLE family run cafe definitely worth stopping off at. Food was delicious, service was impeccable. My biggest compliments to Phil, friendliest cafe server I’ve had for a very long time! He deserves a raise!

One of the best afternoon teas I’ve had. Amazing cake selections and the sandwiches are very tasty too! Can’t wait to go back here again!

Lovely ambient venue, smiley helpful welcoming staff. Our little dog was made to feel welcome, with treats and fusses. Fab quirky decor. Breakfast was probably the best we have ever had, super quality ingredients all freshly cooked and piping hot. De-lici-ous! Couldn’t recommend the cafe highly enough, it was perfect.
