Wonderful tea room, with lovely sandwiches, cakes and scones, a huge range of teas and its own coffee blend, all at *very* reasonable prices. Very friendly staff, quirky interior, and loads of outside (covered) seating with views of the chickens and gardens. I've tried the paninis, cakes and scones and they've all been lovely, but the cheese scone and fig jam is deeeeelicious! It's my favourite place to meet friends, it's relaxed, comfortable and I just love it, it's a little hidden gem!

Wow - what a treat! We were regular visitors under the previous owners and were so disappointed when they decided to move on but the new owners have certainly not let the high standards drop. We ordered cream tea for two over the weekend and from start to finish the experience was perfect. Lawrence was so helpful when taking our order presenting us with various options to chose from. We were held up so late collecting but he was very understanding and polite and even held off making our sandwiches to ensure they were still fresh. The teas came in a delightful box with nice little touches and helpful tips inside, the contents though were amazing with beautiful fresh sandwiches, the best fresh scones and cake we have ever tasted (plus all the usual trimmings) and lovely little extra touches including tea, fresh strawberries, tasty homemade fudge etc. We were so impressed with the quality and look forward to our next order and visiting when they reopen. We were regular visitors of the previous ownership however our first visit to peppers with new ownership left us dissatisfied, the cakes where the best part , they had lovely frosting and fillings but I did find a hair in mine :( the most disappointing part was the milkshakes , before the ice cream milkshakes where thick and creamy with lots of different toppings however now for the same price are pretty much milk with a touch of ice cream and out toppings where mixed up , I would really like to see an improvement on the milkshakes as we used to come here for them all the time and now I don’t think it is worth the trip

Thank goodness for Tripadvisor! We were visiting East Harling as my husband lived there as a child, and used TA to find somewhere for lunch. It’s off the High St, in the grounds of the owner’s home, best to park in the main square. The owners were so welcoming. Fabulous selection of quality teas and coffees, and beautiful cakes. I had a ginger scone with clotted cream and honey, a first for me but delicious. Prices very reasonable. My father in law is in a wheelchair, which wasn’t a problem at all, the owner moved some chairs to accommodate, but the toilet isn’t easy for non able-bodied to acces, we managed. Also child and dog friendly, with an outdoor seating area. If we lived closer this would be a regular haunt. I heartily recommend.

We sat in the sun in the beautiful garden whilst the owners dogs played quietly next door and their chickens enjoyed a sand bath. It was a blissful lunch in peaceful surroundings on a warm Autumn day. We had our first experience of Welsh Rabit washed down with a proper cup of coffee and a proper cup of tea followed by homemade Victoria Sponge and & Coffee & Walnut cakes. It was one of those experiences that neither of us really wanted to end and if work hadn't been calling for our attentions I think we could have easily sat there all afternoon, nattering away like couples do when their children are in school.

My mum and I visited Peppers last Saturday. Fantastic service and great finishing touches, we will definitely return. We enjoyed some different teas and delicious cheese scones. I would highly recommend it.

Excellent choice of teas and cakes in a really nice, but new setting. The town seemed to need this place and we met some really chatty locals using the facility. Owners were welcoming and helpful.

A really delightful, tucked away, little cafe offering a lovely selection of snacks and home made cakes, along with a range of excellent coffees and teas. A peaceful garden setting and very welcoming proprietors. It is somewhere we shall be frequenting and would recommend to anyone whilst in the area.

We visited about 4 weeks ago and had a fantastic bacon sandwich and the waitress recommended a wonderful coffee which was very good indeed . We then visited again last Saturday only to find the menu has changed and no bacon sandwiches and the coffee she had enthused about was no longer there. Soup , Crumpets and Dippy egg ? are now the items offered for breakfast !!!! Two repeat customers lost.

Had a lovely cosy midweek evening meal at the Mulberry, host Karen was friendly and warm. We were blown away by the lovely food which was fresh, elegant and well perfectly portioned. So pleased to ‘discover’ this place and will be back!

Popped in today for a drink as in the area . (Recommended by Nicky George landlord of our local , The Greyhound Swaffham .) I can't agree more when he said it is a little gem . Will be reserving a place for a meal soon The food looked amazing, same are our drinks .😊

Stayed in this hotel many many times. Multi rooms some above the Old Inn, some in various annexes and a couple cottages. Rooms are always clean and warm. You won't get a better fried breakfast, with cereal yoghurt fruit if required. The evening meals, starters, main and puddings are always superb, many come with bowls of fresh veg and the portion sizes are big! Staff are always polite, friendly and attentive. To round it all off the rooms are very competitively priced with plenty of parking.
