The food and hospitality was good. But sitting in the courtyard was most unpleasant for myself, but mainly my children. The absolutely foul language (the very worst!! ) being shouted out from someone in the neighbouring tattoo shop was cringley disturbing. I do hope the owner of Rockabillies finds a way of addressing this issue. Sadly I can never return nor recommend.

Popped in for a cup of tea. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere where we could sit and drink without feeling pressured to leave. Good range of sandwiches, etc but only a limited selection of cakes. That said they were happy to split one slice between two. Really nicely priced and I like this place far better than anywhere else in St Ives.

I have used this hidden gem before. It is tucked away from the road, so not ideal for a few cyclists as storage of bikes nearby is limited. But solo riders or pairs it is ideal. The menu is quite good, Mainly sandwiches Toasties and Breakfast/brunches.The meals I have had have always been freshly cooked, good quality and good value for money.Although there is a menu, meal variation requests are usually catered for by the friendly owner.

This is a beautiful no nonsense stunning little cafe. A trip down memory lane with its 1960's decor and music. The food is stunning. I personally recommend the club sandwich if you're hungry as it is delicious. Everything is freshly prepared and you are always greeted with a warm smile from the lovely Iza. I have tried all of the cafes in St Ives and can honestly say that Rockabillys is the most welcoming with quality food that is lovingly prepared by Iza daily. I have read one of the other reviews on here that stated hands were not washed after smoking! This is fine thing I have never experienced and believe it was probably made by someone out of spite or jealousy, but who knows. We regularly go to this lovely little retro cafe. It's been our little secret but now lots of other people are coming and it's really vibrant too. It's little bit hidden away - tucked right in Cromwell Mews , which is opposite St Ives Bus Station.(Not the cafe on the corner but further down the mews) The staff are lovely, the cakes and sandwiches are really lovely and inexpensive too. If you ask for one of the grilled sandwiches, it will keep you full up all day! (They do takeaway too) As we go there regularly, we have got to know the staff well. The proprietor makes all the cakes, including gluten-free versions, which are yummy! The coffee is particularly appetising. I happened to ask for redbush tea and hey presto the next time I visited, they had bought some in! There is also wifi. There is a lovely relaxed feel. It's simple but as one of the other reviewers mentioned, I wouldn't change a thing. There is also a lovely vintage shop opposite called 'Vintage Grace' full of lovely things and a lovely new jeweller has just opened in the mews too.

Rockabilly has the best coffee and the best sandwiches in St Ives; and at some of the best prices for miles around. Iza is a great hostess. And her rock music accompaniment makes a lovely backdrop to a social over a coffee, to reading Iza's newspapers over a coffee, to working on one's laptop over a coffee, and indeed to anything else you might care to do over a coffee. If there are quite a few of you, you can book the upstairs room for your sole use. As a St Ives resident, Rockabilly is a lifeline for me.

Excellent fresh food - I can't resist the fresh home-made cakes, piping hot coffee or range of teas. The premises are ‘compact & bijoux’ but always meticulously clean and the hospitality provided by Izabella is always friendly and inviting. The prices are probably the best around town i.e. they are VERY reasonable for the quality of produce. A small selection of free newspapers are also available during your visit which is handy if you have a few minutes to spare before catching the Busway home. Set in the quiet end of the town centre down a pretty mews is Rockabilly, a small coffee shop that's a big hit!Rockabilly has been here in St. Ives since April 2013 and in the last eight months it has gained a fantastic reputation and loyal fan base for the quality of products it serves, and the service you are given whilst getting them. The shop is owned and run by a lady called Iza who is very much the face of Rockabilly. What a wonderful and friendly person! She always has a smile on her face when you walk in which goes a long way in the service industry. Be prepared for a chuckle when you visit!Rockabilly serves absolutely outstanding coffee, using fine beans and love to make you a dreamy coffee. They are all extremely reasonably priced considering the superior quality of the beans, over established corporate brands like Costa which is also in St. Ives. A small cup will set you back just £1.75, £1.95 for a medium and £2.20 for a large coffee. Reasonably priced indeed! When you walk into Rockabilly you are treated like a friend and not like a product on a factory assembly line, like you tend to do at corporate machines like Starbucks and Costa. This, I like. As well as the beautiful coffee; the shop also serves delicious sandwiches, American style grilled sandwiches, ciabatta, salads and soup. Iza tends to do a different soup every week, so catch it while you can! The food is incredible, in fact, the club sandwich here has become somewhat local legend - and at £3.50, the price is also legendary. In addition to all this, Iza sells her home made cakes and cookies! All of which are phenomenal, be sure to try the Sharlotka (traditional Polish apple cake) - Another local favourite! She also likes to experiment and invent different types of cookies to look out for these delicious and unique little things. All in all it's a lovely little coffee shop to visit, whether you live in St. Ives and the surrounding area or are just looking for a great new coffee shop experience. Coffee and food from the heart, not the machine. This is just an unmissable shop to visit.

As you wander through St Ives town centre, you will pass the chalk board on the main pavement advertising Rockabilly's, which is hidden down in the middle of Cromwell Mews. The shop itself is relatively compact, but has a couple of tables and chairs near the main counter, with a sofa for more comfortable seating. There is also some seating and a table or two outside, I think that there is more seating upstairs for when its very busy.I have stopped in here a couple of times now, both for drink/eat in and takeaway. The prices are very reasonable, and the coffee tastes lovely. The icing on the cake is the homemade cake and sandwiches. These are far superior to the mass produced versions that you get in other coffee shops. If you are in St Ives, I heartily recommend that you pop in and try it out, you will not be disappointed !

This was our first visit to this place as a family, although my wife and daughter had been before. I can clearly see why they liked it so much and suggested this visit. For starters, as I already knew having regularly visited Ambiance which Waffle n Go is connected to, it is beautiful sitting outside looking over the Riverside Park. The food was absolutely delicious and service was efficient, friendly and with a smile. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. If you are in the area, Waffle n Go and indeed Ambiance are well worth a visit. Excellent!
