Lovely little local coffee shop, very dog friendly. Good coffee, nice range of cakes, good range of lunchtime food.

Plain food. Plain atmosphere. Shakes were alright.

Now called Riley's cafe but the service and food was and is still fantastic. The chimney cakes come from the Transalvanya region in Romania and are authentic and very delicious. I'd really recommend this place for a nice Hungarian sweet and coffee.

Kids love the shakes and waffles, and i have to agree with them. Fab. Edit still great, maybe dialled down a little since last time.

They served a delicious biscoff ice cream in a plastic cup with a paper straw. Friendly and fast service for take-away. Looking at their menu; I am excited to come back and try their different Jude ice cream flavours! Including the charcoal ice cream that I rarely find in cafés.

We went in here looking for a quick treat, and ended up buying some ice cream, a hot chocolate and a milkshake. We were quite surprised at the price (yesterday we had authentic Italian gelato on Piccadilly in London at greater quantity and lower price). The hot chocolate was distinctly average and the milkshake seemed pricey for milk blended with a chocolate bar. The menus on the table were torn and in very poor condition, and even though this was a small detail, the prominence of them brought down our impression of the whole interior. We had a minor issue with the receipt and although it was fairly simply sorted out, the confrontational attitude (not from the counter staff, this was the person it was escalated to) was frankly surprising. Reading other reviews it seems this is a minority opinion and maybe we went there on a bad day, but I can only review based on my own experience. What dropped this from my default 5* starting point were that on our visit we found it pricey, shabby and not the best customer experience (-1 star for each) and I can't see us visiting again.

Not many GF options but the Chocolate Fudge Cake made a difference from the ubiquitous GF Brownie. I liked my smoothie And the oat milk latte was nice too. The tuna mayo baked potato was a little watery and rather plain with no side salad. Probably wouldn't bother next time.

Brilliant, friendly service and excellent quality

Lovely little find, well worth a special trip to St Ives. Picture shows the chocolate trio chimney cake. Just delicious. I had a broccoli smoothie too, and a toastie. All so nice. Certainly coming back down to try more on the menu!

Popped in on a cycle ride and found the food and drinks to be really good. We had got chocolate and cappuccino and both were spot on. Waffles are excellent as are the cones. Busy when we left but no one queuing when we arrived. Good spot on bridge Street if you are cycling through. We opted to sit outside as our clothes were muddy but there are seats inside. We left our bikes propped against a lamppost nearby.

The coffee was lovely and the chimney cake was delicious. First time we have been in Oana's and it won't be the last.

Tasty, clean and affordable. Buy their chimney cones and coffee walk to the Quay and sit by the kerbside and let your soul smile. And for those peckish times, get their Ham & Cheese toast. It simply gorgeous. A must do when in St Ives.

It's a nice place, the service was great but the hot chocolate was a bit expensive for what it was.

Great little pit stop for a dessert or something sweet. Went for the waffle and wasn’t disappointed. Plenty offer. Need to revisit to try more of the menu.

Just went in for a coffee, which was very nice. The staff were very friendly, it wasn't that busy, got a table easily. I'm definitely going back to try one of their chimney cakes!

Food and drinks were good as they always are. Only problem I have with this business is the inconsistency of staff attitude. On this visit one female staff member was particularly rude. On arrival we were told nothing regarding covid safety, although we know about these already these should be reminded to every guest. Although we do plan on visiting again on later dates I feel customer service training does need to be reminded to the tall girl with dark hair.

A warm welcome and nice service. Coffee and tea cake were lovely. Best of all was the music....my play list...REM, Simple Minds, manics...

Our favourite place to have lunch and a treat after feeding the ducks ... lovely banana milkshake and a cheese sandwich then his favourite treat a vanilla ice cream he has also tried the chocolate but vanilla is definitely his favourite ! Great toasties and coffee too served by attentive welcoming staff. Thoroughly recommend Oana’s sit in or takeaway you won’t be disappointed

Had loads of these beautiful blended creamy iced coffees when visiting Milan and have been dreaming about them for the last two years, only to find them on our doorstep during a hot weekend walk! Just as perfect as we remembered, over the moon about finding them again. Also loved to see the vegan milkshake option!

You can tell by the long queue outside that Oana’s is very popular. The one-in-one-out system was done well given the current climate and, after ordering, we enjoyed small tubs of ice cream, one of their detox smoothies and a soya vanilla latte coffee. The staff were friendly and chatty and the drinks really nice. A special mention goes to the mint choc-chip ice cream too.Oana’s does a range of sweet treats, drinks and is found a stone’s throw from St Ives Bridge.

Nice friendly staff only had a tea cake which was terrible didn't eat it. In response to your reply yes 2 of us came in but the tea cake was only for my mum as i didn't want anything at the time. She took one bite said it was was very hard so we left. I always leave as honest review as possible on all my feedback in the hope when things need improving or changing they do. You have a nice cafe with great staff and you are right we should of mentioned the problem at the time

Coffee is a little expensive for the amount you get

Having seen the prices being charged along the road at a nearby riverside cafe, we decided to give this smaller venue a try. Sure enough, the menu was not as appetising and the surrounding less comfy but but the coffee and tea was just as good, as was our teacakes. A little quirky, perhaps, but interesting. I’m not sure what the theme of the decor is, or if there is one, but still interesting. A feature of the menu is something called a chimney cake. Never heard of it myself but apparently they have several variations, but I expect my Grandkids would enjoy one more than me.

We are regular visitors here and are never disappointed. A small but tasty selection of cakes, good coffee and free wi-fi. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Our preferred coffee venue in town :-)

Really friendly cafe. Everything cooked fresh so you do have to wait for a short while, if having a chimney cake, but worth the short wait!!

Treated the family to a late breakfast on Easter Monday. My mum and sister both loved their birds nest milkshakes and mum enjoyed choosing her chocolate bar to flavour her milkshake, terries chocolate orange after much deliberation. My dad enjoyed his cinnamon chimney cake, having not had one before, once he worked out how to eat it!I loved my biscoff milkshake to go with my biscoff chimney cake! Even on a busy day we found a clean table, were severed quickly and didn’t have to wait long for our food and drink. The chimney cakes are cooked fresh but the short wait is definitely worth it.It’s our favourite place for a treat in St Ives!

This was our refreshment pitstop on our cycle along the guided busway, and we'll be calling in here again whenever possible. Recommend the chocolate bar milkshakes: we had Oreo, and Reeses Pieces, which were yummy.

Friendly independent cafe. The coffee is superb and they offer great chocolate bar milkshakes if you have a sweet tooth. Free WiFi and dog friendly makes it one of the best coffee shops in St Ives. Highly recommended.

As the local ginger/horse girl I always loved it here. There isn’t mush lighting so I don’t get burnt and the food always leave me full and fat whenever I leave. Me and my horse companion khadija love it here 🐎

Realy good time and realy good food

Call in on a regular basis. A place I can happily sit on my own. Toasties are tastey wether you eat in or take out. It is what it is, little clean cafe, small simple but nice. Tea comes in nice pots with milk and this is not expensive, internet easy to sign into and has been good enough. Girls always get my order quickly.

Had a lovely milkshake in the cafe yesterday. It was a nice atmosphere in the cafe too and I was served by a friendly lady called Eve who was very approachable. I would recommend this to a friend.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, good coffee, and chimney cakes to die for, if you're in St Ives don't go anywhere else, reasonable prices my kids favourite place to go, can't recommend highly enough, try it for yourself you won't be disappointed!!!

This place is a real hit with our family and friends and they are continually updating their menu. Dean and his team are welcoming to all. The Chimney cakes are fantastic and I use them as a bribery tool with my kids!

Very friendly cafe with a good range of cakes. The chimney cake is brilliant, particularly if filled with ice-cream, and very good value.

Walking past we thought we were going into just another cafe. However this cafe offers Transylvania chimney food which is delicious. Being a new mum I was wondering how the changing facilities are. To my surprise they have thought of the little things that help when changing little man- better than Mothercare facilities! Would definitely recommend food and drink, a lovely little place! Will be returning again!!!

Came here for lunch as a popular venue a few yards away had a 40-minute wait time and the other place I normally frequent is closed for refurbishment. It looked fairly quiet and I’d remembered that this place had received good reviews prior so went in.

You have to go here. The milkshakes are amazing, the chimney cakes really filling, they do a hot drinks range that is better than Costa for flavour (white hot chocolate over Xmas was lush). The savoury choices are unusual, I wasn’t sure about a savoury chimney roll but it worked so well with the hot dog. My kids love it, the baby changing facilities are great too for such a small place, nice little touches make us go back :)

I have walked past this numerous times and finally went in. Friendly staff, lovely setting, reasonably priced. Not the widest choice of food, but what there is fits the bill and is tasty. Will be back.

Having got up early to get our hair cut for my son’s birthday we popped into Oana’s for a Pre-birthday treat.

Decided it was time to try this place as we have heard good things . We wasn't disappointed it's not the quickest place but excellent coffee and basic but good quality baguettes and sandwiches and the chimney cakes are delicious and different. Good value for money. Will definitely go back to try ice cream and a shake.

Second choice place to go for a morning coffee but now it's our first. It does do coffee but smoothies ice cream and a quick snack are on the cards. I got a melon smoothie with yogurt, subtle but perfect taste. Then ordered a chimney with coconut topping.. yum! Go and get one I will not spoil the surprise...

I have been here a few time and the people are always very friendly here. Always service with a smile and it's great to see that people enjoy there work!

Lovly selection of threats and coffees

Oanas do great toasties and the service is quick and friendly. It's a great place for a quick lunch stop. But if you do have more time try the chimney cakes, they're amazing. Freshly cooked while you wait, I recommend the 'dipping trio' where you get three little dishes of warm chocolate to dip into!

Love this little gem, amazing food and great choice of drinks. I especially like the any chocolate hot chocolate, choose out of any chocolate that they have and they will make a hot chocolate out of it. Well have to try the chimney cakes next time I am there. They sound amazing. The staff are very nice and friendly, and helpful to guide you through all the choices that they have. Nice sized cafe with enough seats, just the one toilet so make sure if you need to go to hang outside the door or someone else may beat you to it. Great place!
