The best find for ages. Brilliant I had a ham baggette with onion and mayo. The ham was proper ham cut fro. The joint in front of me. And was just like my mum used to make at Christmas. By far the best ham I have ever had..

Brilliant butchers but I went here on the 29th of September 2023 around half 10 and had the worst experience with a member of staff a young girl getting stressed out at customers bacon was under cooked and miss made my order

The best butcher, highly recommend! Perfect pieces for a BBQ or a nice steak dinner. Delicious selection of homemade pies and sandwiches. Also, I'm not the biggest fan of BBQ sauce, but when I tried their chicken wings and pulled pork, I loved it.

Used to love the pies but now they are only selling unbaked pies so will no longer be making to detour whilst on the road as I can't fit an oven on board, also if I want a raw pie I'll make one from scratch myself.

Came highly recommended, so went and bought a couple of the steak pies (one Stilton, on onion). Absolutely delicious, I’ll definitely be returning for more.

I generally loved pies from here and would recommend this place highly. However, I recently bought a steak pie from here that had hardly any meat filling mostly the gravy. I know with the cost of living things are getting tough on many business but if your brand is being known for quality produce then don’t reduce the quality. I cannot pay for any pie that should contain other ingredients other than gravy at the newly increased prices.

Quality meats at good prices, especially their bbq multipacks. Mainly come in for the butties, huge portions for £2.50ish, sausages have been a bit overdone in the past but well worth a visit.

Pies and filled rolls are really good but staff are rude and seem like you shouldn't be bothering them by ordering their produce. If you don't want to serve the public then don't get a job in a shop

Great pies but uninterested staff, 2 people ignored me for 10 mins when the shop was empty they have a can't be bothered attitude, the last time I went was the same but gave them another go but will now give my money to someone who at least looks like they appreciate it

We always try to get our meat from here although we are currently living in Buckden, we are due to move to Brampton in the next few months so plan to use the butchers more often, The pies are out of this world!

I have just cooked 2 beef kebabs in my ninja foodie, set on grill, for 8 minutes and they were delicious. Everything I have had from Measures has been excellent and the delivery service has been a bonus. Thank you.

Great quality meat and excellent gourmet pies

The meat and pies look exceptional quality, but that's not what was purchased we bought some filled rolls to take back to the office for lunch and whilst the food itself was OK the lack of gloves being worn to prepare them was a little off putting basic hygiene failure.

Thank you so much for my latest order. Just had the lasagne, everyone enjoyed it. The pie we had a few days ago again, absolutely amazing. The mince was used for a spag bol and I can’t fault it. Chicken was used for my roast on Sunday. Sausages went down a treat with some mash. All in all I will be ordering again with out a doubt. A friend recommended me to use them in a conversation we had a few must be months ago and I am so glad that I did order.

Very Good Butcher's, would highly recommend the Home Made Lasagne. Ran by Mother and Daughter's Team. Good Girls, Good Product and Good Service. Oh, known far and wide for their Pies. All made on site using the Meat they purvey to the Public. Very Good.

Just bought one of their fresh baguettes, with cheese, their own cooked ham and red onion in mayo filling. Absolutely delicious!

Traditional butcher, top quality food and service.

This is one of the great local butchers for miles around. Their family meat pies are made on the premises as are several of the other items they sell. I.e. sausage Platts. Their pies are so good people travel miles to buy them and also many farms shops also stock them. I also recommend their ham which again is cooked themselves and tastes as ham should (like it did when I was a child). I cannot fault this butchers in any way.

Had to leave after ten minutes, couldn't stand on my walking stick any longer. Four staff going about their business, which is apparently ignoring customers. One staff member dealing with customers ordering sandwiches. No butchery service. A lot of people on TA whittle on about traditional local shops and businesses. Many will not survive Covid 19. Let's be clear, it's not the fault of the virus.

As well as the excellent pork chops there is a large range of very good homemade meat pies and at lunchtime a very good selection of filled baguettes and rolls.

In Brampton High Street you will find several vans and Police cars all Queuing for the filled rolls and home made pies. It is a VERY popular venue. The butchers counter is renowed for high quality meats and popular with locals and visitor's from the local campsites in summer. We often buy the ready made Lasagne or large steak pies when we have visitor's at home. Our relatives ask us to take pies and ready made Lasagne when we visit them they are so Good!

Measures sell the best home made pies. Bombardier is my fave. The baguettes are also very popular - be prepared for a queue at lunchtime. Great local butcher.

We like to use and support local businesses when we can, and the service from Measures is brilliant. We purchase the plenty for 20 BBQ packs and they are fantastic value for money, all the meat is really tasty and sides are really good too!! Very happy to recommend

I was recommended to give this place a try and boy do I regret it! So I ordered 5 full monty rolls, to be told they are too busy so only doing sausage and bacon. Fair enough! 5 of them please. On the last one they tell me “we have ran out of sausages”.... but I ordered before other people. Wouldn’t you check and not take any further orders? Instead of waiting till my last one to tell me? In replacement of sausages you offer 1 slice of bacon for the same price? Honestly I wish I just walked out. As someone in the customer service industry I find your service terrible. Your hot food is cold and over priced. I get you’re a family run butchers in a small village so the locals probably accept this but I can safely say my local butchers wipes the floor with quality, service and value for money. Every Friday our business gets some sort of food in for 5-10 people. This will be the first and last time we use you. Stick to being a butchers as the hot and cold baguettes is clearly too much for you to handle. For anyone wanting an all day breakfast style snack you are worth a 5 min drive to Huntingdon to “the diner” food truck. It’s better quality, actually hot!

An absolute must visit, both for the pies and for the selection of lunch options (filled baguettes, pork pies and scotch eggs). Also does great quality fresh meat and poultry. Very friendly and helpful staff.

If you are in the area it is a must to stop here for a home cooked pie. Many choices of filling and a lot with awards. Don't forget to get yourself a sandwich or baguette from the take away counter. Highly recommend this place and will certainly return when in the area.

Measures Butchers is a really good butchers, friendly staff, great quality meat and superb deals. I live 10miles away and it's by far the best butchers in our area.

The baguettes are amazing and you get a decent amount, very good value for money. Only thing I would suggest is the onion isn't cut up very well so be prepared to bite into 6 bits of onion at once if you add it to your baguette! But all in all, delicious!!

Just the best for miles! Always a queue for the freshly made up baguettes...get in quick! And the pies are just delicious. The counter staff are brilliant too...so helpful

I went to measures maybe 30 years ago and never forgot it. The pies are the best that you could find. They did a breakfast bap which doesn't properly describe it. Truly an unforgetable experience. Forget bucket travel lists go to measures! John

Great local butcher with excellant food that blows supermarket meat out of the window. Everything from home made Beef and Bombadier pies, Pork pies to juicy mouth melting fillet steaks, all produce is first class. Leaving right now to pick up my Christmas order. If I do not get there by 0830 when they open I could be queuing a long time as the hungry hordes decend from miles around.

I was quite disappointed with my chicken tikka baguette today. Opened it up back at my office to discover only 4 pieces of meat inside. A real shame from the usual high standard. Hopefully a one off.

Old fashioned, good service family butcher. Excellent quality, cannot better the meat. Tried the steak pies which were beautiful, but the lasagne wan't our cup of tea.

I get my Christmas turkey from here and they taste AMAZING. I recently brought some steaks from here on the Valentines day special and they look juicy and I cant wait to eat them.

I get all my meat from here it is the best butchers by far chicken sausages chops bacon and steak ect it is all top class and there pies and lasagne which they have won prizes for, once you have tried them you will never get better First class meat and first class staff

Went here for our Christmas Turkey and no joke it was so big I was scared I would have to cut it.The value for money was second to none. I had no worries about the quality of meat I was about to consume.

The food seems good but service lacks. The guy on the butcher side was miserable. I asked for some Lincolnshire sausages and he didn't talk to me, he gave me something else and didn't say goodbye. For a village butchers you'd expect friendly service. I'm sorry but this will make me go elsewhere!

Order of meat was incorrect and the customer service was horrible, would not recommend

I was recommended to try their ham on the bone, piled into a warm baguette - it was amazing. The guy behind the counter carves the ham especially for you and he said they cook it themselves. There was a huge queue but they get through it quickly and well worth a few minutes wait. It is a lovely old fashioned butchers and they have a gold medal for England's Best Pie. After tasting the rolls I went back for a family pie and can honestly say my whole family absolutely raved about it. Highly recommend!
