My first ever visit and although the menu lacked anything Vegan, the owner was wonderful and adapted the veggie brunch to a Vegan one. I also had a latte, which there was a milk alternative for. Perhaps a few Vegan items on the menu wouldn’t go a miss, since times are moving along with Veganism. Wonderful little coffee and food place though and I really appreciate the effort towards the owner making the food adaption for me. Thank you. I hope to be back another time.

Oliver’s is a quaint eatery in the village of Kimbolton. The menu has something for everyone, including children. The atmosphere is quiet, airy, and comfortable. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon with a caramel cappuccino (less milk, more foam). It was delicious! I will bring my husband back.

Popped in for breakfast a nice pot of tea and coffee with some work pals. The inside is lovely and clean fresh with nice seating at the front and back or even outside. The staff were really warm and friendly . The food was freshly prepared and the granary bread was excellent. The coffee looked perfect my tea I had x3 cups out of x1 pot. It was good value and a cracking location, I would recommend.

I was cycling through Kimbolton for the first time on Saturday and stopped for a coffee. My phone was dying so I asked if Olivers would charge it for me. Not only was this request greeted with help and a smile, the coffee was really good too! I wish I could be more lucky and stumble on places like this more often. People make good coffee, but people also make a warm and comfortable environment too. Thank you Olivers!!!!

A lovely small coffee shop. I assume it’s independent but might be wrong. Cakes and coffee were lovely, bacon sandwiches smelt amazing. Prices a bit high, £4.50 for a side of chips seems a lot to me. It is a nice relaxing environment. Inside and outside seating, lovely and clean, friendly staff, toilets clean, wheelchair and pushchair friendly. Dogs are allowed so be warned if you don’t like dogs in an eating area. I would go again but only if I’m in the area. There’s and area for kids party which was set with bunting and balloons 🎈 looked very sweet.

Oliver’s Café is just so sweet, cozy & charming – just like the town/village of Kimbolton where it’s located. Although it was mid-day, we ordered breakfast and shared a pot of tea. Our meals were excellent - so delicious and obviously made from fresh, quality ingredients. The combination of the lovely town, the warmth of the café and tasty food, almost had a storybook effect – or at least it did for the two of us, (Mom & daughter) visitors from the states. We only had 3 hrs. to spend in Kimbolton, due to the bus & train schedules from London. I had selected Oliver’s based on reviews and the photos of tasty food & scrumptious (home made!) cakes on their Facebook page. Every single thing exceeded my expectations. But above it all: Kind Hearts. My daughter & I spent 6 days in London with the main purpose of a day trip to Kimbolton. Our little story: back in 1999, when the internet was new (to me, lol) and I didn’t know what to google (Ask Jeeves!) so I typed in my name, then hubby’s, and then her name. Kim Bolton. Wow – Kimbolton Castle! A whole town named Kimbolton – with incredible history! I got a print of the castle and it was in her bedroom from age 10 to when she moved out. We don’t travel a lot, and could only dream of how amazing it would be to actually visit one day. And 5 years ago, the dream became a plan, and then there we were, sitting in Oliver’s Café and drinking tea on a sunny November day. Our lovely waitress asked if we were on holiday, and I felt a bit silly but I told her our story. Later, the owner stopped at our table to chat & said he enjoyed our story very much. It isn’t every day that we get a Kim Bolton in Kimbolton, he joked - and then let us know our meals would be compliments of the house! Such kindness – just like in a storybook! So I bought (and paid for lol) six pieces of scrumptious cake for take away. And we lived happily ever after. :-)

Great little café and shop in the centre of Kimbolton. Lovely bacon sandwich with side salad and crisps. Cappuccino at £2-70 a bit more than we usually pay. Service friendly and helpful. Revisited this week. I had scrambled eggs, with 2 slices of smoked salmon on wholemeal toast, garnished with parsley. My OH had a Portobello mushroom burger and a side salad. Both meals were filling and delicious. I'm happy to say that they had both Soya and Almond non-dairy milk. Service was good, friendly staff, and average prices. We ate in the small courtyard garden, which was somewhat cramped, but at least we had a choice of inside or outside dining. The real letdown was the men's toilet, which was somewhat 'rural' and needed a good clean, and no paper towels. But for that it would been a 4* review. Still recommended though.

A warm welcome, a lovely cup of coffee and delicious cakes after my daughter and son in law completed the Kimbolton Castle half marathon. Right across the street from the famous public school, we sat for ages with our family including our 9 month old granddaughter. Rustic, some may even say basic, with its mixed up wobbly chairs, this cafe had real character. But best of all was the family who ran the place: efficient, proud of their home baked/cooked fresh food and very chatty. Delightful.

The staff are friendly. Unfortunately the coffee comes in one size, massive. The flat white had far too much milk and was basically a double latte. When what I presumed was the Caffe owner asked what was wrong she didn't really understand that the flat white had way too much milk. I did think explaining it would help as I feel they just wasn't sufficiently equipped. Aside from this the Parma ham panini was very nice but the meatball melt had the cheapest looking meatballs. These meatballs with likely <20% meat content surely came from a can.

This place stinks of racism not by owners but the staff, I went in there waited about 15 minutes before someone come to serve even though had several eye contact with the staff but they kept themselves busy.. when I finally got served and got my food a couple walked in and soon as they sat down lady came straight away and asked what they would like to drink which made it all clear how they ignore me because I’m foreign. I have never felt so unwelcome in my life I’ve lived here 25 years and been working most of, I run a family business my self and treat everyone who walks in the same. Shame on you to the two ladies who was working here on the 12/06/19 at around 11:30 am I will never forget this shame on you both, I would have walked out if I have realised what was going on a lil earlier.
