The best restaurants serving Thai food in England

Excellent food very fresh & the best Thai we have had for a long time great flavours. Lovely staff served with a smile & not too long a wait even though they were busy.

The food is great, I’d recommend the pad thai and green curry.

We had our second meal from Thai House Takeaway tonight. Another beautiful, tasty and good value meal cooked to order for us. We didn’t know what a treasure we had on our doorstep. We will certainly be regular customers, with the quality of the food, and friendly, helpful staff.” Thank- you again!” For a lovely meal. We look forward to trying other dishes very soon too. We would highly recommend the Thai Green chicken curry, and the Sweet & Sour Chicken. Please come and try some for yourself too.

We ordered a takeaway and the food was excellent. Can particularly recommend the beef and oyster sauce and the chicken and ginger. The service was very friendly too.

First time diners at this small but delightfully set up authentic Thai restaurant. had many take away but the chance to sit in and enjoy the menu was not disappointed. The Massaman curry was sumptuous, The Pad Thai flavoursome and very reasonably priced. will be back soon

Quirky place with authentic beautifully served food. Lots of options for vegetarians. The mock duck, referred to as gluten should not put you off. It is absolutely delicious with the satay sauce. We have been many times over the years and this family run business never disappoints.

I love this sweet little Thai cafe The staff are all lovely and I regularly order take away from there. I was sad to notice the spring rolls have changed as they were my favourite! They were packed with mushrooms and glass noodles - delicious! The last few deliveries the spring rolls have been vegetable with a few glass noodles, still tasty but PLEASE BRING BACK THE MUSHROOM SPRING ROLLS to your menu! Thank you x

In all the years I have lived in the area I have never once sampled the food at this place until now, and I have to say that it's certainty nothing to write home about. Decided to opt for a takeaway, well I wish I hadn't bothered as the chicken dish was completely different to the one i had ordered on the menu and the rice dish was really dry, overall the food quality was very poor in that I wouldn't give it to a dog, I definitely will not be returning!!

Rang up and ordered a takeaway and was told at the end of my order that they had run out of prawn crackers😳 Collected my order at the allotted time and drove home, approximately 5mins. I opened the bag and the food had leaked all over. The packaging has changed to cardboard boxes which don’t seal. I plated the food up and it looked very different to the usual dishes and the portions were much smaller than usual. I started to eat and the food was cold. I tried to ring the restaurant but it was engaged. I decided to microwave the food and started eating. The red thai curry didn’t taste like it normally does and it consisted of 8 pieces of chicken, 3 small pieces of red pepper, 1 slice of mushroom and copious amounts of bamboo shoots, they made up 90% of the dish. I also had a chicken pad thai which was a much smaller portion and tasted very bitter. The food was average to say the least and nowhere near the normal standard and quality I have grown to love from this restaurant. I ate a few mouthfuls and left the rest. The reason I order a takeaway is because I want a good quality meal cooked by a professional chef who has mastered their craft to make my meal the best tasting it can be using the freshest ingredients available and in return make me want to return again and again, unfortunately this was no better than your average packet mix meal. Very Very disappointed. It seems like the restaurant is trying to cut costs with the new packaging, the bamboo shoot fillers and the much smaller portions. It’s resulting loosing me as a customer as I will no longer be ordering from the Siam Orchid again.

Ordered a takeaway for collection last night from this restaurant. My partner travelled out to pick up the food up and on arriving home and removing the lids we were very disappointed to find that they had given us the wrong order. I rang the restaurant to inform them what had happened however received no apology for this. We then had to ask for the correct order to be delivered instead of us having to travel out again as this was their error. With a lot of reluctance they agreed. When the driver arrived to our house he turned up empty handed and wanted the incorrect order back which had already been in our home, which really makes me question their hygiene given the current covid-19 pandemic. The driver was very ignorant and unhelpful. When I called back to the restaurant they said it was a different driver that had to bring our correct order back to us which we then had to wait a further 25 minutes for and on arriving the food was cold and had to be microwaved. It was also the same driver. After all this I had to ask on the phone for some form of compensation after what had happened, I would have like to think they would have offered it to us considering this was their error. Overall negative experience, will go else where in future.

Everything on the menu is delicious and delivered hot and fresh. Very accommodating with vegetarian options too. Love it!

Ordered a delivery which came quickly and hot. Unfortunately, the sticky rice we ordered for £4.50 wasn't even enough to feed one person let alone three. From other places we only ever need to order one rice portion and we have plenty left over. Not so here. We are now having to cook our own rice so we can start our dinner.

previously Great food now food not as good as before before pad Thai egg was fried with the noodle and made it tasty now egg cok before and cut into pieces and place ontop of noodle and takeaway comes with papercomtainer which absorbs the oil and becomes dry

Lovely food and lovely service let down by bland decor and a cold restaurant. Not sure if the heating wasn’t coping or it had not been put on as there were very few people in due to it being a Sunday. A shame as the dishes really were very tasty and there is very easy parking across the road in the carpark.
