Chada

Latchmere, Wandsworth, 30-45£
12/09/2020: Their Covid 19 precautions were very reassuring from the point of arrival to our departure. Very welcoming, family run feel with high levels of attention without being intrusive. The menu selection is wide with typical Thai dishes. We were a party of four, all ordered different dishes and everything was extremely well cooked and presented. Prices are good, especially for London. It's a thoroughly nice restaurant with pleasant decor, run by thoroughly nice people. Easy parking if not along the main road then in Beechmore Road with a two minute walk. Highly recommended.
22/08/2020: A brilliant meal - every dish was really tasty and the service was spot on. They also cater well for vegetarians. Highly recommend - we’ll be back soon!

05/09/2020: We called in after a concert. This was my second visit. A calm atmosphere, with tables protected by perspex screens. Excellent Thai food, with plenty of choice, elegantly served,
02/09/2020: Amazing good, and the best service I have come across. So easy to order online or to just phone up compared to other restaurants. Very quick and efficient. Thanks Pauline

Thai Taste

Courtfield, Kensington and Chelsea, 30-45£
09/09/2020: Whilst spending a weekend in Kensington, we were looking for a nice Thai Restaurant. There were quite a few to pick from but some with average reviews. We decided to go to Thai Taste and boy was that the best decision! Food was absolutely delicious and the service from KC was great! Brilliant selection of food and sooo tasty! Definitely recommend!!
31/08/2020: Fantastic. Really good Thai food. My wife is a big fan and we both found it the best we’ve had (and we’ve had a fair few).

Mai Thai

Dundonald, Merton
17/08/2020: There are better Thai’s in Wimbledon, don’t bother ordering from here. Reheated food and they still mess it up
26/06/2020: We have been trying lots of local takeaway places during the lockdown and honestly this place had delivered not only the worst VFM meal but also the blandest Thai food we had in ages. We had thought that paying more than usual will be justified as the food will be of better quality. Not so!!! Their Pad Thai had absolutely no flavour, was very stogy and did not even have any crushed peanuts as topping, This must have been the most expensive takeaway pad Thai we've had in ages; £14 for a small box (£12.50 for noodles and £1.50 extra for prawns). Their green curry was also lacking in flavour and had very little meat and far too much of curry sauce). So disappointing! We were also charged "service charge' on top of the delivery charge (never heard of anyone else who charges "service charge" on takeaways!). Needless to say, we will not be ordering from them again

Bonanza

Wallington South, Sutton, 20-30£
19/09/2020: I have been here twice since lockdown, once for lunch and once for an evening meal. Both times I have been impressed with the Covid safety precautions they are taking.....there is hand sanitiser at the door, a request for masks to be worn to enter, all waiting staff are wearing visors, track and trace details taken and tables well spaced. They also keep anyone collecting take aways outside of the restaurant. Of all the restaurants I have eaten in since lockdown this one feels one of the safest, which is a real achievement as it’s quite a small place. The menu and food is still as amazing as ever, and I hope to return again soon.
18/08/2020: Went here yesterday after seeing some nice reviews.Really well kept and clean premises toilets spotless.Nice selection of well priced food and wine with generous portions. We had the duck with pancakes and pork dumplings as a starter lovely!Phaid thai really good and lots of prawns.lovely and friendly owner and staff.A gem we will be back.

Songkran Thai

Cheam, Sutton
31/08/2020: We visited with family and all of us loved the food. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Since it is small place with seating area, tables are close. Jungle curry was amazing and spicy.
12/08/2020: We’ve been to the restaurant today and we were absolutely shocked about the complete lack of social distancing among tables, customers and staff. I expected the tables would have been re-arranged under the Covid but It’s super crowded with tables only being half metre apart. Staff were also not wearing masks. Food was ok but the lack of social distancing made us feel so uncomfortable and worried... The management ought to do more to protect the staff and customers.

The Meeting Bar & Restaurant

Southbury, Enfield, 20-30£
31/08/2020: I have always been hesitant trying our a Thai food experience - but can confirm, the quality of food at this restaurant is great! Very nice serving, kind servers with well decorated and presented food. There is a good selection of drinks available. Large groups can book also. For disabled people it is seems hard to get in on a wheelchair. Toilets are fair and clean. There is inside and outside area also, ideal for both winter or summer. Prices are I would say fairly high (paid 95 pounds for 3 people) but you get quality for it. The only negative to mention is that the currys are coming without rice, and you will have to chose a rice and pay it as a separate thing - it would be better to have at least plain rice included. Apart from that, I can recommend this place to everyone!
27/08/2020: Love this restaurant! Been here a number of times and the food and service has never failed me ! I’ve been here with my large family of ten on a busy night but received excellent service and great tasting food. The starters of grilled prawns are to die for and the pork ribs potion is large and great tasting. The Thai lamb ribs so juicy. All potions are a good for the mains. Try the green Thai pancake it’s so yummy! Please try the place if you enjoy authentic Thai food.

Sri Suwoon

Warwick, City of London,Westminster, <20£
27/08/2020: Really delicious food and the owner was so helpful and informative as I have an allergy. Spotlessly clean. A hidden little gem alright tucked away but clearly very popular and busy. Highly recommended for first class meal and service. I would say it is a bit on the pricey side but well worth it. Do try it, you won’t regret it.
22/07/2020: Just to make it clear I never ever write reviews but for this place felt like I had to. This Thai meal is by far the best I have had outside of Thailand. First place I have eaten out since the epidemic and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious, and extremely well priced for central london!! Next meal out I will most certainly be returning.

Patara - Soho

West End, City of London,Westminster, 45-60£
17/07/2020: A noi è piaciuto tantissimo! Ristorante elegante, in cui ci si trasporta subito in oriente, sapori squisiti... una serata meravigliosa!
27/04/2020: So I had eaten in the Patara Restaurant in Vienna recently and was expecting the same quality of food and service...I was sadly disappointed! The service is awful... pretentious and inhospitable. The food has much to be desired. I had the mushroom tom yum and was unimpressed-vinegar and soya sauce concoction. I also had the Som Tum salad which was marginally better. The decor of the restaurant is pleasant and when I went it was quite full. It seems to be popular and I cant understand why--there are so many better places close by where the food is much better.
