Thai Up At The Quay

Harwich East, Tendring, 30-45£
09/03/2019: What more to say that simply perfect! The service is fantastic, and nothing is too much trouble. Definitely the best Thai food we have ever had . If you have never been then you really need to ! Does get very booked up for the weekends
14/02/2019: Another fantastic Thai meal. Couldn't have been more perfect !! Andy and Pom consistently offer great food in their own unique welcoming style. 100% recommend to everyone.

Bann Thai Restaurant

Cromer Town, North Norfolk
17/03/2019: Loving the extension and the new look and the bright shirts.
10/03/2019: We ate with friends at this little restaurant and would highly recommend it! The flavours are authentic and portions were good without being too much. The management are friendly and accomodating and when we return we will eat there again.

Old Siam

Hertford Castle, East Hertfordshire
19/03/2019: A group of four us went on a Monday evening shortly after opening at 6 pm.
10/03/2019: I visited with last week for a friend's birthday. We shared the sharing starter bundle, and then had chicken panang which was delicious. Atmosphere was lovely and we had great service. Would highly recommend!

The Navigator

The Shelfords and Stapleford, South Cambridgeshire, <20£
14/03/2019: Luckily in advance we booked a table for two otherwise we would have been disappointed and no wonder the restaurant was full.
08/03/2019: We normally get the seafood and vegetable dishes and are always amazed at the quality and flavour of the green and red thai curries. Thoroughly enjoy the thai curries and their coconut rice.

Dunstable-Manshead, Central Bedfordshire, 30-45£
19/03/2019: Great food and everything tastes amazing; one of the best. If I’m being super critical, only let down is the slightly cramped seating - probably due to high demand. Always full of people and is known as the best Thai around. Worth a visit for sure.
18/03/2019: Went here with wife and son as we where staying the night at local hotel as we where going to whipsnade zoo in the morning all the food here was amazing and very reasonably priced the service was also very good would defiantly recommend 5 stars

Aroy Thai

Pier, Tendring
15/03/2019: My wife and went to the restaurant last night with old friends from Belgium and what a delight from the time we entered a warm and friendly welcome, the drinks and food was served in a timely manner. I ordered soup which I didn't enjoy but that was just my taste everyone else enjoyed their starter, my main meal was just delicious and everyone else enjoyed theirs we will be returning.Well done to the chef and staff for a really enjoyable evening.
10/03/2019: Made to feel very welcome at this lovely Thai restaurant. So much amazing food and the owner was really kind to my mum and dad as it was there 50th wedding anniversary. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Peacock Thai

Leighton Buzzard North, Central Bedfordshire
17/02/2019: I've been going to the Peacock Thai for a few years now and it is by far my most visited restaurant. My Canadian friends love it so much that when they visit once a year they eat there at least twice for the week they stay in LB. I went there for a group Christmas meal last year and it was excellent.
05/01/2019: Had a takeaway after reading all the reviews and expected a real authentic Thai but the food tasted like reheated food that was anything but authentic. It was all far too sweet and had a bad aftertaste. Have travelled a lot in Thailand so know the difference! The best Thai I have found locally is the Royal Thai in stony Stratford and the George and dragon in Wendover. I never write reviews normally but I really think this place has done some clever marketing to make themselves look good! But on a Saturday night they only had 2 tables booked at 8.30pm whilst collecting our takeaway ... I think that says it all! I really don’t like false advertising and made up reviews!

Thai Street Cafe

Severals, Forest Heath, <20£
06/03/2019: On a wet Tuesday night in March this place was packed. They must be doing something right but no way is this authentic Thai food. It’s not even close - ‘bland’ is the best word - for Thai food!? My ‘classic’ Thai dish was cooked without chillies and the waitress was surprised when I questioned this. “Oh, would you like some?” She supplied a small bowl of “chillies” which tasted more like red pepper (bell peppers).
25/02/2019: Plenty of choices for starters, mains and deserts and really wanted to try them all. Recommend for less formal nights with friends or partner. Staff very friendly and made to feel welcome.

Rice Thai Restaurant

Castle, Bedford
08/03/2019: Wow- if you want authentic Thai cuisine then this is the place to go. The owners go to Thailand at the beginning of the year to stock up on goodies to give a really authentic experience. They always cater for allergies and dietary requirements without complaint which is wonderful.
07/03/2019: The best Thai restaurant in Bedford. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and clientele. Excellent food, beautifully cooked and seasoned. Expensive beer, a bit of a rip of to be honest. £4 for a 330ml bottle is outrageous, but even so, I love this restaurant, and I will definitely return.

Coconut Garden

Dunstable-Northfields, Central Bedfordshire, 60-100£
10/03/2019: Suggest you ignore the previous "disappointed" review and look at the others. We ate here on 9/3/2019. The meal was excellent, the quantities large, the service superb, the price competitive. A decent bottle of Pinot Noir cost just £16!
10/02/2019: As a couple we really enjoy Thai food. Having not had any for a while we where througly excited for a takeaway from coconut garden, unfortunately what we received was well below expectations.

Ruam Thai

Burnham-on-Crouch South, Maldon, 30-45£
13/02/2019: Excellent service, well presented and very tasty food. An extensive menu and good wine selection. Will definitely visit again!
15/01/2019: Absolutely lovely authentic Thai food but easily missed because it's above a barbers shop. Family run by some very nice and obliging people this is one of our favourites

Nakorn Thai Restaurant

South, Luton, 20-30£
19/03/2019: Amazing food, amazing staff, very friendly and felt well looked after from the moment we walked in. So good the first time infact, we visited a second time later the same week. Highly recommend!
17/03/2019: Visited with a group of 8 on Sat evening. Very busy but service was quick and good. Mixed starter selection was tasty and not greasy. Everyone enjoyed different mains (pad Thai, beef massaman, red curry etc). Good selection of beers and we very much enjoyed a Thai wine. Freshly made (by Manager!) banana fritters to finish. Will definitely come back. Also do lunch deal.

Thai Bualuang

South Woodham-Elmwood and Woodville, Chelmsford
17/03/2019: The staff are really lovely and friendly and the food is excellent. The atmosphere is really friendly with soft music in the background. We were treated to an impromptu dance by our waitress who seems very happy in her job.
31/01/2019: Was surprised at how large the restaurant was inside. Do not be put off by the appearance outside could do with a paint job but inside is very inviting

Thai Cottage

Berkhamsted East, Dacorum
17/03/2019: This is our 4th visit, and we keep returning, the food is amazing, its authentic and great value for money. The staff are great and the restaurant itself is very authentic too with the furniture and decor. Highly Recommend
03/03/2019: I have been here several times and the food is very good. However during my last visit in February half term, when I went here for lunch with a friend, it was not the enjoyable experience it should have been. We were enjoying our meal and chatting when a member of staff came over to say they wanted us to pay the bill as they were closing. They left us for a bit and then said we had to go. We had not finished our bottle of wine and had to leave it. Everywhere else in Berkhamsted would let you finish and would definitely not ask you to leave. I will not, therefore, be returning here.

Take Thai

Nelson, Norwich
09/03/2019: First time I had food from this establishment, I was pleased with my dishes.
15/02/2019: We ordered a take out from Take Thai last night, I was sceptical as I have had dreadful service here before, bet my friend insisted. We were told it would take an hour possibly an hour and a quarter. After two hours we called to see where our food was, we were told it had left, after another fifteen minutes we called again, they said it was just leaving. Two and a half hours later it arrived , by this time we were so hungry we had put a pizza in the oven and sent the driver away. Why lie ? Just be honest and say when the food will arrive so you can make an informed decision if you actually want to eat that late......greedy take away !!!
