The best restaurants serving Thai food in England

Visited twice while working in Lincoln; both times food and service was excellent, friendly and fast fresh food, good sized portions and very tasty. Highly recommended.

Went to Siam Cottage to celebrate my dad's 80th. It was a delicious meal and we felt welcomed and cared for by Maxwell, our server, from start to finish. Sam'mak and Matt were also very welcoming. I had Penang curry with prawns which I highly recommend and my mum had tamarind duck which was also amazing. Great Thai beer too. Thanks!

We were staying a few miles away and ordered a takeaway as they were full in the restaurant. Wow, really good / Authentic Thai food and all cooked to order.

Food is delightful, fresh and served quickly. Portions are on point too. An absolute hidden gem well worth popping in and worth the wait to get a seat.

This is an amazing restaurant. Our go to for great food and service. I'm gutted that it is no longer open 😪 the food is of a high quality and the service is exemplary.

My family can't get enough of this restaurant! We've been back three times, and each visit has been a delight. The restaurant consistently earns high scores, usually between 4 and 5. We gave it a perfect five because they allowed us to sit down before our allocated booking, and there was no service charge. The only problem was that the coconut rice was drier than usual, and we had to ask the waitresses to clean our table. Apart from these minor issues, the menu is incredibly diverse (and fair prices), the restaurant has a cosy and traditional theme, and the service from the waitress was delightful!

Food and main meals are good but note now all starters are fried. Wish they had steamed or grilled options as well Service charge is automatically added like many other places in this area. Very friendly staff and landlady and great music option on weekends

Fuera del menú principal hoy disfrutamos de comida tailandesa más brillante. Entradas de galletas de langostinos Manura, sidra de aspall para la comida. Seguido de pollo picado marinado en tostadas, semillas de sésamo, frito con una salsa de chile dulce. Directamente de la freidora a la mesa, caliente. Crujiente Gyoza - Relleno de pollo, verduras mezcladas con una salsa para mojar. Ambos compartimos un poco de cada uno. Un comienzo encantador con la red por venir. . . . . . . Mi esposa elige lubina al vapor con salsa de soja y jengibre. Una porción generosa de lubina, sin huesos, muy sabrosa, le encantó este plato. Pato en salsa de tamarindo para mí, delicioso. Arroz frito con huevo para los dos. Una pareja en la mesa de al lado dijo que estaba allí 1 vez en la calle, pero me encantó la comida y volveré. Un gran descubrimiento para encontrar la hospitalidad familiar tailandesa haciendo que comer fuera tan agradable.

Outstanding Thai restaurant whose food is only bettered by the fabulous staff. Best Thai food I have ever tasted and I eat Thai everywhere I go including repeated trips to Thailand. The restaurant is medium to small so booking early is a worthwhile precaution to try the food perfection of this restaurant. The chef will Taylor the spice levels to your own levels. Family business that should be a must visit location to all Thai food lovers

I’ve been coming here for years it’s my favourite and it’s also lovely to have a porn star martini it’s a litttle treat. Weds was our wedding’s anniversary we arrived only a young girl working she was sweet but could tell she was maybe new. We waited a while to order drinks then she came back to tell me she didn’t have the ingredients for a porn star so I asked to look at the cocktail menu. 10 mins later I had to go ask her for one to be told they don’t have any ingredients for any cocktails as it’s a Weds delivery didn’t show up on the Tuesday but she could have told me that at the start when she new I wanted a cocktail. My gut feeling she didn’t know how to make them so I had to settle for a first a diet coke. Food came out I ordered jasmine rice and pretty sure it was sticky rice I didn’t say anything as just wanted to get going quick already felt disappointed. The main meal also wasn’t very hot usually it’s piping again I didn’t mention anything just felt like all going wrong and I had been so looking forward to it. While we were sitting there on a table with no table cloth when the other couples had one seems silly but it was almost like we were just plonked in the corner by the window which was 3 inches covered in dust and cobwebs. We were in and out within and hour the quickest I’ve ever dine in. None off the above was the young girls fault but what should of have been a romantic meal turn out to be extremely disappointing and I don’t do reviews and never complain either but hoxley really needs to up their game.

Great Thai Food and excellent friendly service. One of my favourite local places to eat. A real gem in Thames Ditton village

Been excited to try here for a while so I Decided to place an order to pick up. Wow what a disappointment!! Pad Thai was woeful! Didn’t get any peanuts with it. Slimy cold noodles with no flavour. Thai green curry was like water again with no flavour. Very expensive for poor quality food. Not one positive about this place

Nuestra primera visita a este increíble restaurante tailandés en Tooting. Todo fue encantador de principio a fin. Pedimos los entrantes mixtos que estaban deliciosos, especialmente el pollo satay y costillas. Las principales eran porciones enormes, arroz frito con huevo esponjoso y suntuoso pollo salteado y curry massamam de ternera. La decoración es preciosa y el personal era muy amable, eficiente y servicial. A pesar de que el restaurante estaba ocupado nos sirvieron rápidamente con nuestras bebidas y comida. Muy buena relación calidad-precio y sin duda volveremos pronto. Nuestro nuevo restaurante tailandés favorito. Gracias Noi y el equipo para una gran noche.
