Best prawn pad Thai in Brighton! Really delicious, generous portion, prawns were big and fresh tasting. Mother in law had recently had dental surgery and was unable to eat solid foods but wanted to go out, our waitress was so kind and accommodating. She brought out a piece of tofu so she could see if it was soft enough! MIL had Tom Ka without any solids and it was so so delicious - will definitely order this when we next come (with all the usual fixings) Thank you so much for such a lovely dinner !

I stopped by a couple of times to get Pad Thai. It's probably not the biggest portion I've got, but it was delicious and both chilli and peanuts came in separate little bags, which is really great, I could regulate the level of spice. The place itself and the people who work there are really lovely. So, I'm happy with the food and the service! Thanks, guys

We ordered 3 different dishes as a delivery on Saturday night (1st Feb 2025). After waiting one hour, the food arrived. That's ok for a Saturday eve from my point of view. However, 2 out of the delivered 3 dishes have been really disappointing. My partner ordered a vegetarian jungle curry with tofu. We couldn't find any tofu at all in the curry, what got delivered was rather a very watery vegetable soup with a few vegetables in. My chicken pad thai was very tasteless and did mainly consist of the noodles, it was missing and was missing a lot of egg and bean sprouts served with chopped leeks and sweet turnips. My partner did send an email on the same evening to the restaurant re our bad experience and also mentioned the non-existing tofu in her tofu dish. However, till today, there hasn't been any reaction by Thai Lounge. This has honestly been the worst Thai food experience, I ever had. Needless to say, that we will not order from Thai Lounge again.

Had a roast dinner. Only us two in there but still took 30 mins to get. Beef out of a packet, stone cold peas, raw carrots, greasy potatoes and soggy Yorkshire pudding. Was the worst roast I've ever had in a pub. Considering the cost of £16.95. Definitely not worth it. Will never go there again or recommend.

Lovely find whilst visiting Oxford. We didn't book and were lucky to be able seated downstairs. The upstairs restaurant area was packed. Lovely selection of food, generous portion sizes. Navigate the little alleyways, and you'll find this little gem of a place located in a building steeped in history!

I was told, if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all. Sadly, Trip advisor requires more characters. The CB is, outdated, tired, confused, comical, overpriced. They have not a clue about Thai cuisine. Edamame beans (Japan) and seed weed (Chinese) as a starter, pork on three dishes (one was BBQ pork, Chr Siu) and a Pad Thai that was over sweet, over cooked, void of shrimps, egg, fish sauce, shallots etc etc. Stir fried aubergine enrobed in hoi sin, really. I'd be stunned if a Thai national cooked this meal and best it's a very poor European interpretation of "Asian" food. Oh, and lemon meringue pie to finish.

Visited for an evening meal for my wife's birthday. Polite and friendly service. Wonderful meal. Plates were served hot before the food. The duck in the Panaeng curry was tender as was the pork stir fried with the cashew nuts. The Yellow beef curry was also tasty. All washed down with a couple of Leo beers.
