Food was not great ... prawn starter very bland and inedible... service ok but restaurant overall not worth the visit...

Awful food. Really awful. Green curry was beige and lacked any flavour. Rice had to be sliced with a knife. Pad Thai was bland and vile that went in the bin. 5 tiny prawns in my curry. Honestly the worst Thai/takeaway I’ve had.

I would highly recommend the yellow curry with coconut rice. It is creamy with a hint of spicy chilli.

We were a bit nervous going into the restaurant as the environment looked pretty basic, but what a treasure! The food was absolutely delicious! We had a variety of dishes and they were all exceptional. The prawns in tamarind sauce were my favourite, so full of flavour and cooked to perfection! We will definitely be back!

Excellent choice, excellent food, good price, good website, good updates and fast delivery. I’d absolutely recommend this place! They even triple wrap containers so the food doesn’t leek everywhere.

Lovely meal here bk in Nov 2022 however since then I've tried several times to book in their opening hours but there is always an answerphone message saying they are closed and open tomorrow. I can't see this business surviving if they never respond to msgs and are never open. Very disappointed.

Takeaway tonight, so bad I feel compelled to write a review. We spent almost £60, the prawn crackers were stale, there was no satay sauce on the cold chicken, the spring rolls tasted odd, and the dim sum were cold, soggy and tasteless. Used to come here a lot previously but haven’t been since the new owners. Will never order from again.

Awful food!! I placed an order online told 1 hour and I have been waiting 1 hour 45 minutes for my food. When it arrived it was cold and the spring rolls was soggy. Awful customer service when calling they didn’t care at all. And the food wasn’t nice!

We placed a order for 4 at 7.15pm for a delivery.. we were called back by the manager/owner to say that the delivery would be more likely to arrive by 8.30 Pm.. at 8.45pm we called the restaurant to see if our order was on the way .. we were told that had been delayed and was just leaving.. we asked to speak with the manager/owner but they refused to come to the phone .. once the food arrived you could tell that the food had been sitting around as the sticky rice was like a brick! Unfortunately this is about the 4th time we have experienced delivery issues and due to this we will not being using them again

Found a human hair wrapped up in the vegetable spring roll. Part of the hair had been in my mouth. I didn't want to finish the rest of the meal. Asked for a refund but they would only offer a refund for the spring rolls, as if I would be happy to continue eating the rest of the food. Avoid.

I ordered starters and two curries. Not only did I have to wait an hour and a half for delivery... but when my order came, they'd missed all of the starters off. The person taking the order had to ask the restaurant to be quiet to take the order and obviously missed half of it off. The owner when we called was ranting down the phone and not at all apologetic. Not only that, but she wanted to charge us extra for the things they'd missed off of the order, rather than apologising and getting it corrected. The order taker was stuck between what we were saying and her neurotic boss, who wasn't prepared to listen. My partner explained that she heard me make the call and order and I did order the starters, and they'd obviously not recorded it correctly. These guys are more concerned about money than service and reputation - terrible business to treat customers in this way.. which is why I've felt compelled to write this, sadly.

The cuisine here is superior to any other Thai restaurant in Worthing. Friendly helpful staff. We had Tempura prawns and duck curry....fabulous!

I actually feel awful leaving a bad review but when you organise a special meal for 20 people you would hope they would try to please, felt awkward at times and a little in the way but having said that, starters all fine, but mixed feedback on mains, understandably difficult to possibly achieve perfection for everyone but the majority where left with a meal they didn’t eat as inedible, shame as previous experience of takeaways has been good, probably wouldn’t return

Authentic Thai food done as it should be this at this little gem. It’s a little quirky and apparently having a refurb soon, but if you don’t want the westernised homogenised version of Thai cuisine that most places serve, it’s well worth a try. The favourites are all there, and done well (red/green curries, Pad Thai etc), but the weeping tiger is stunning and the jungle curry is a non-toned down very hot taste sensation..just don’t expect a thick/sweet creamy sauce, rather the authentic, highly spiced very thin curry, and it’s not for the faint hearted. It’s delicious..just make sure you ask for water ! If you value quality food above decor I can’t recommend highly enough !

Ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio - wasn’t what was described on the menu - in fact it was a £4:10 bottle from Lidl’s that cost over £17 !!

Having eaten in many Thai restaurants I particularly like this one The people that own and run the business are delightful,so friendly.Service is warm and friendly very attentive Excellent menu plenty to choose from as well as specialty dishes .We had 4 different starters and were particularly impressed with the duck rolls and prawn toast! Next was our main courses we had a pad Thai and a green curry which their made more spicy as a recommendation to me it tasted amazing , perfect heat in fact probably the best one I’ve ever had ! It was topped up with lots of fresh crunchy vegetables it was delightful , my wife’s pad Thai was also of a high standard very impressive in fact our whole visit was just great can’t wait to return .Keep doing what your doing very delightful thankyou

A busy Friday night (so advisable to book which we did as it is a small family run restaurant) our table was already set together with a bowl of prawn crackers - a nice touch.We had a variety of starters - the dim sum were superb - full of meat and with a lovely subtle dipping bowl. Our party had the deep fried tofu, the spicy squid and the Tom Yum Soup. All beautifully presented. Almost too much if you are ordering mains.We had wanted to try the steamed sea bass but the table next to us had the last of the evenings catch. So instead we tried the Weeping Tiger - a dish many Thai's fail with the steak being too tough or chewy. No such problem here the meat was perfect and served with a beautiful sweet sauce. A red thai seafood curry was full of mussels, prawns and squid, the Chicken Thai Yellow curry smelt delicious and the Pad Thai noodles and the Stir Fried Spinach with Ginger beautiful but almost too much. We only needed 2 bowls of rice for 4 at this stage.With a Pinot to wash this all down the bill was very reasonable and we were the last ones out feeling very full but very well fed. As this is just next door to the Brookstead well worth a pint or two before a superb Thai meal awaits.

Friday night supper with 4 friends.. ordered set menu B.. crikey it was more than enough for us. All dishes delicious, piping hot, and lots of it too. We booked as It was really busy. Cannot recommend it highly enough..

This is the place for a true taste of Thai food, very reasonably priced ....their specials are to "Thai for" especially the juicy succulent king prawns ...a taste explosion on your tongue ....you will not be disappointed

This family owned restaurant offers a varied menu of starters, soups, salads, mains and desserts...many familiar but some obvious house specials. They also have combinations for two or more guests where you receive a prix fee meal that includes several courses for an attractive price. My Pad Thai was not too sweet and had lots of flavor. My husband’s Drunken Noodle was Spivey hot as promised and he enjoyed it a lot. Our server was attentive and efficient.

We used to love this little restaurant, but haven’t been for some time. So thought we would give it a go again, service was rushed, the young girl at the bar/desk looked very harassed! Another lady kept running to the shop and back for supplies?!

So disappointed. This was our favourite Thai. My wife and I had heard rumours that it had changed hands and had a poor experience with our last take-away. Food is equal to what it has always been but much, much smaller. However, tonight we had a sit down and left feeling angry that we had to pay. Due to awful service. We will not be going back. We used to love our nights of Brooksteed alehouse and then a Thai/Indian. All I can say is that Indian Ocean will be getting more of our hard earned cash as the service at spice Thai was just so awful. Such a shame. Too much to complain about for a single trip advisor review so will leave it there. Just don’t waste your money!

Lovely authentic Thai food! Me and my friend has a lovely meal tonite! Food was fresh and delicious. Portion sizes are fab and well worth it! The prices for starter and main was great value! I would so rather support a local Business like Thai Spice Kitchen over a restaurant chain any day!

Have known the owner sue for years and always look foward to our visits,the food is amazing ,I love the panang curry although I only have broccoli and carrot in mine the flavour is out of this world ,every dish is prepared fresh and with the highest quality ingredients .the dim sum is perfect and the pad Thai noodles are the best.would highly recommend to anyone who loves Thai food and is in the area ,great experience ans look foward to returning soon

I went here Wednesday to get takeaway to be told it was cash only on takeaway but card if you ate inside (?!) i said we didn’t have cash so could we just pay by card otherwise we wouldn’t order and they said no. Never heard anything like it!

Visited today with family the food was presented really nicely and tasted excellent all the dishes came at once and the service was excellent only downfall was it’s a small restaurant and very loud when full but the food made up for it.

After a long day at work went in Spice Thai kitchen had weeping tiger and giant king prawns with my sister as a share, brilliant choice both meals were full of flavour and staff very attentive and pleasant. Would recommend this place if you like Thai and good service.

What a shame very bad service, ordered meal and was told after half an hour that they had run out. Once we had received are meal was waiting another ten minutes for are Rice. We had recommended this restaurant to are friends and were really gutted.

Just been for a meal with my son and it was absolutely delicious. Portions were a generous size and the alcohol was reasonably priced too. Service was excellent and staff very friendly. I will be back!

I had the luxury of dining alone at the authentic, bijou Spice Thai Kitchen.

We were three adults and two children who ate here on a Saturday evening. Once more the food was very good and plentiful. We had the set menu for four people plus one extra dish. This consisted of mixed starters and for mains Sweet and Sour Prawns, Beef in Oyster Sauce, Chicken Green Curry, Stir Fried Mixed Vegetables and Steamed Rice. The extra dish was Duck Pad Med Mamaung. Everything was cooked beautifully, with plenty of flavour, well presented and the staff were amazing Prices were normal for a Thai restaurant but overall I thought value for money.

This is one of the worst takeaways I’ve ever had. So overpriced and after ordering a duck red curry and duck stir fry only to find that it contains mostly fatty bits from the duck I’m very disappointed. I would never buy a takeaway from them again. I also ordered dumplings which I couldn’t eat as they were so dry and crumbly. Not how dim sum should be.

We ordered takeaway in the restaurant and were told 20mins till ready. We popped back 25min later and they hadn't even started making the order yet. It took a further 35min before we got our food. In that time a table of people left in anger at the wait time for table service and another table of 4 were staring to get angry as their starters were literally coming out one every 5 to 10 minutes! Yet the managers were still accepting orders on the phone and by walk ins. They were totally overwhelmed and obviously couldn't handle it. When we finally got our takeaway we walked home only to find that two completely different meals had the exact same generic sauce. Won't be ordering here again I'm afraid.

Visited the other day, and never disappointed with the food. Such tasty food and polite attentive staff, always filling up your water and wine etc. We went for the set menu b £18.95 per person. Feels a bit expensive however I think that is the price all places charge and we where happy enough to pay that much as we had a good experience yet again with this restaurant, you do get a lot of food which is perfect. I can never fault the food here.

4 of us ordered on a Friday night for delivery, we found the prices for takeaway a little on the expensive side, it was more like eat in restaurant prices and the delivery wait was very long. However,the food was delicious and we were all pleased with our choices. My only niggle was that I ordered a green curry and it had no spice to it at all although the flavours were very good and I still really enjoyed it.

We had a very enjoyable evening at the restaurant. I had SP2 - Neau Krachai, Traditional spicy dish. Wok fried slices of sirloin beef with shed galasez, chilli, Thai herbs. This was really tasty and good quality beef. The meal had lots of flavour and a good serving of Coconut rice accompanied the meal. All for a very reasonable price.

I booked this well in advance after reading trip advisor reports and I must say I was not disappointed. The food was excellent, great dishes very plentiful with loads of flavour. It is quite a small restaurant but with lots of atmosphere. I do not think it is expensive comparing it to other Thai Restaurants.We all enjoyed it, we had a meal for four at £18.95 per person plus extras and a massaman curry for one person

Been meaning to pop in here for a while not living too far away but ordered a delivery tonight. Absolutely delicious! Food piping hot too which is a bonus. I had a chicken satay starter, jungle curry which was super hot as warned & amazing plus a broccoli side. I am a regular at a competitor in the centre of town & will keep going there but I think this place pips it to the post. Wow! Very yummy!!

I have walled past Spice Thai Kitchen for the last two years and have always wanted to try the food. We normally order home delivery if we are going to gave take away, but due to the set menu prices, we felt it was too expensive.

Was here for a friends parents 40th anniversary. Had never eaten in a Thai restaurant before so wasn’t sure what to expect. The place was really busy, every table taken, so I new this place must be good. Food was tasty and the staff were great, nothing to much trouble. Will return

This small, clean and cosy restaurant is a great option for people that enjoy Thai cousin. I have visited this place twice and I was pleased to see a good food quality, good portions and good prices. The food seems fresh and the service is excellent. I highly recommend people to try this restaurant.

Even though the delivery menu states that they take cards, when you speak to the stroppy English woman on the end of the phone they, apparently, only do cash on delivery, is this an attempt not to pay tax?? The actual owners and Thai staff are lovely when you visit the restaurant but this woman always has some sort of attitude. The delivery food is sweaty and has obviously been in the car for an extended period, avoid delivery- very disappointed!

We go here all the time it just gets better and better every time we go, can't fault it the food is always very good, the staff are very friendly and efficient. And if you have any questions about anything on the menu they are happy to help and change the chilli strength if need be. It's spotless for cleanliness it's a must to go here and eat.
