The food is unreal! Portion sizes are large and the variety is incredible, food tastes amazing and I can’t fault anything about this restaurant. My partner and I come here often and love trying new things on the menu

New site is very good. Excellent service. Fantastic food. Big enough serving to take some home too. Good value. Now two rooms to eat in. We were in back room so I was worried about a lack of atmosphere but it filled up and was lovely.

We went without a booking on a Sunday night. Got there and the place was heaving though was quickly seated at the back of the restaurant which was perfect for our party. Within minutes of being seated our drinks order was taken and delivered quickly with prawn crackers. We ordered a mixture of starters and main courses and can honestly say this was some of the best Thai food we have all tasted outside of Thailand. Everyone loved all the food and even the kids were being adventurous and trying new things. Staff were amazing and very knowledgeable about the dishes and advised on portion sizes. All in all a great evening, amazing food and even a doggy bag to take home for the next day.

Might well be the best takeaway food I've ever had. Beautiful, fresh flavours, everything cooked to perfection, really decent portions, just perfect. Food was prepared in a timely manner and the service was friendly.

Food was excellent enjoyable lunch, a very extensive menu. Staff were polite and friendly good at giving advice for the food.

This is our first visit since they changed location. The food is great but they need to improve their systems. We noticed that another member of staff would come out and ask again what had been ordered. We waited about 20 minutes for our food then had to wait for cutlery and rice. We didn’t mind at all but I can understand people getting frustrated.

THE WORST RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO - impressively bad. Staff ignore you consistently, food was awful (spring roll frozen in middle), over 47 quid and AN HOUR WAIT for our tasteless food. Honestly the rudest staff ever and it’s a bold move to charge that much when the kitchen is visible and you can see ICELAND BAGS OF FROZEN VEG. No one to complain to for a refund, seems like they are actively trying to upset customers?

Booked table 2 weeks in advance turned up didn’t know who we were had given table away ! No apology let us stand in middle of restaurant and proceeded to go round to each table to ask if they had finished when they hadn’t even been given food to find us a table. Totally overwhelmed in the end after waiting we left. Don’t bother going as customers when we were waiting were getting cross about not getting food. They did us a favour as ended up down the road for a curry !

After booking 2 weeks ago for my birthday meal with friends , we arrived on time there was not a table available. The owner did not care or try and help . The whole restaurant were waiting for food . Walked out and wouldn’t go back !

Went for a visit with my partner, ordered drinks and the older waitress, who appeared to be in charge, bought me a beer after I ordered a 7up. I explained her mistake and told her not to worry as my partner would drink it. She told me "you did order a Singah". To which I replied I had not - I hate beer and I am 6 months pregnant so very very very very unlikely those words came from my mouth. The food was OK. What we n noticed though was that a whole family came in, sat down then promptly left after an exchange with waiting staff. We also noticed that a young waiter was getting quite a lot of things confused for his customers but perhaps he was training. He broke a glass at one point, when service was really busy - I noticed our older waitress sitting at a table chatting with a couple of customers, whilst this young one looked under pressure to cope with the sudden influx of customers. We both left feeling like we'd witnessed a cheap thai spin off of the usual dining service portrayed on an episode of fawlty towers. We'll try elsewhere next time.

Our first visit to Yasmin’s fabulous Thai Street Food restaurant and it was fabulous. We sat outside and she made a point of coming out to great us and tell us all about this and her previous restaurant that was nearby. Her staff are very attentive and polite - obviously well trained. The food was delicious and we will definitely make this a regular place to eat. Well done to Yasmin and her dedicated team. Catherine & Peter

So a few months ago, just after they first opened, I posted that we were really looking forward to going, but that after a disastrous night - order forgotten, service all over the place, too many covers - we left hungry and annoyed; but I did hope that things would get better. The owner replied that the problems were down to the new set-up. We're away at the moment, and our friends are staying. So last night I recommended this place, with a jokey 'hope you get served!'. Well, they didn't. After over an hour they left having had no food (albeit the wine they'd had was deducted from the bill), and apparently the table behind was the same. So, all I can (sadly) say now is - avoid this place, if you want to be sure that you'll get fed.

Delicious food Best Pad Thai my husband has ever had, he says. (Squid). Green curry stir-fry was a little strong for our taste. The BBQ neck pork was delish. Will definitely be back. Ordered too much and have lunch for tomorrow too!

*Review edited* Had to double check if this was the same place. I'm glad they were able to move venue and are less cramped from before. Had to lower the score from 4 star to 3 as I recently ordered from here last week and the quality was veeery different from the first time I ate here which was before lockdown. Waiting times were incredibly long but we caught them on a busy day. So we gathered they were a bit overwhelmed. I ordered a rice dish while my partner had a pad thai and im unsure what was different but the food wasnt nice. My rice dish was very dry and mushy. It was like eating paste. It just tasted of turmeric and little else. Our spring rolls were black, burnt and very greasy. My partners pad thai was just bad. The sauce was very tart and bitter and not a nice flavour so we had to throw it away. Its sad as we were excited to try it as the food smells very nice. Just a shame it was over cooked and unpleasant.

Strange place really. The owner is abrupt and over-familiar in a way that makes you think the food must be amazing for her to be able to get away with that manner... but it isn't. The staff all seem to have no idea what's on the menu or how to serve food and drink, and when you call them out on their obvious errors, they get annoyed with you or just stare at you as if you're mad. Our salty and quite unremarkable dishes all came out at different times, was wrong, came without cutlery and cost too much. I don't think we'll be going back, which is a shame as it could be good with a bit of tweaking, but seeing as other people have also complained and nothing has changed, I don't think anyone cares enough to do anything about it. And... I just checked my bill and although it came to £79, they added 15% without mentioning it on the bill or it being in the menu, so I paid £92... which is both illegal and very annoying.

I had previously eaten at the old location and found the food delicious and authentic, so was excited to take my family to the new location. Had a table of 4 booked for 7pm and we all ordered starters and mains. An hour later at 8pm, the waitress came to say that the veggie spring rolls for starter was not available so my mum chose a duck spring roll instead. The table to the right of us who had arrived half an hour later than us, received all of their starters when we were still left waiting. My dad very politely said to the waitress that he could understand they were busy, but asked if she could check on our starters as the table next to us had theirs despite ordering a good while after us. At 8:15 3 starters came, but they had forgotten my husbands so they said his would be another 10 mins. During that time whilst 3 of us were eating the starters, one of the kitchen staff came out to say that our mains were ready now and did we want have them now. We said we’d like to have our starters first as my husband still hadn’t even received his starter that they’d forgotten. During all this there was no apology made by any of the staff. Then when the mains came, my husband had ordered a “dry stir fry with battered beef.” His plate was filled with a watery sauce and beef wasn’t battered so it was clearly the wrong order. We again raised this politely and said we thought that the beef was supposed to be battered and we weren’t sure it was the right dish. Then the chef came, took the plate away, added batter to the beef and re-cooked it returning it to the watery sauce so that it all turned into a soggy mush that was inedible, he just ate the veg and left all the meat. When the waitress came to take our plates away again, still no apology for all the mixups, and they did not ask how the food was. My dad said we would not be happy paying for the beef main that went wrong. Again, still no apology or acknowledgment that they had messed up, they just agreed they would take that off the bill. There was no accountability or sorry for the mess ups and no gestures of good will, they only took off the menu the one main that was inedible and that we had to request not to pay for. In the end we told them how we felt, that all the things wrong with no apology at which point the waitress eventually said she apologised but it did not seem sincere. Following this the owner and chef came out to tell us that if we want to come out for a nice family meal we should come on a Wednesday instead as Saturdays are always busy. This seemed a bizarre response and again just unnecessary, we would have been happy with a goodwill gesture like drinks taken off the bill or at the least a simple apology. She said she had too big a menu and everything was in her head and so she forgets things. I agree with other reviews - this place has expanded and they don’t have the processes or staff equipped to deal with more tables at the new location which is a real shame as I really enjoyed the food before! Mistakes happen which is completely understandable but it’s the way it was dealt with that gave the whole evening a very strange atmosphere. We are not the type of people who like to complain or make fuss and we tried to give the staff the opportunity to correct things rather than just leave a negative review, but we were treated as though we had just been rude and a nuisance, it really was not an enjoyable experience and I’m afraid we won’t be returning.

Loved going to the restaurant in the old location, Bath Street, and wanted to support the restaurant in their new location. It’s definitely bigger and has a different ambiance than the last place but still nice. The wait staff are still finding their feet a bit, but the duck noodle soup and Thai Street fried rice were delicious as ever!! And the Thai milk tea was very yummy! The food is still just as good as it’s always been and I’m looking forward to becoming a regular in the new location!

Warmly welcomed by yani in her new establishment, a super lunch and lots of it! We have previously eaten in her restaurant in bath place and can't speak more highly of how hard she works. The food is amazing in our opinion and a huge menu to suit everyone. Between us we enjoyed it all and will be back soon, the friend that we took with us has already told her friends would highly recommend.

What a disaster. The manager needs to have some professional on taking orders. The assistants are clueless and they can’t even give a menu they keep saying check online. After collecting the order and upon getting home some order was missing. Gone back and was told it wasn’t cooked

Living near the restaurant, and having heard so many good things about them at their previous location, we were excited about going last night. I still really hope that they make it a success - however... Booked for 8pm, ordered at 8.10pm, by 9.40pm (!) we'd had some prawn crackers (nice) and pork toast (soggy underneath). Whilst we were sitting by the door waiting to be shown to our table, it was already clear what the problem was - too many covers, and accepting too many walk-ups. It was plain to see that the staff were already struggling. When we were shown to our place, the table wasn't set (I got our own serviettes after we received the toast, and we never received any cutlery at all...). Two people sat next to us - they'd started off outside but had been waiting so long they'd got cold (apparently their food was nice), another table had one meal arrive so late that their partner had already finished theirs...at 9.10 I asked where ours was, and was told '10 minutes'; at 9.35 I was told 'it is coming'. Upon leaving, we were only charged for the beers - which is fair enough - and we left hungry. Advice, in the best spirit: (temporarily at least) limit walk-ups to, say, 10 per evening. It's plain that the kitchen can't cope with the numbers at the moment; train the staff - they've working their socks off, but they clearly don't know which dishes are which (we heard one diner ask if what they were being served was 'seafood' and the waitress plainly didn't know), and they obviously currently have no connection to what is actually happening in the kitchen. We hope to return and have a nice meal one day - the menu reads great, and the dishes look good - but I'd urge the owner to forget about cramming in as many people as possible every night, and get the basics right first. Otherwise, they're really going to get a bad rep pretty quickly, which would be a real shame.

3rd day of trading, a total disaster. Booked for 7:30pm, seated at 7:40pm, took order at 8:05pm, food arrived at 9:20pm, and 2 items are sold out and informed at 9:10pm. Table next to us, 8 people, arrived the same time, 2 people got their food, 3 people cancelled, and 3 people had them as takeaway instead. Badly managed, only 1 working owner chef, and 4 other people, inexperienced and didn't really do much. I prefer the Bath Place old shop, as it was more welcoming and smaller in size, and you get the feel of more Thai Street food. New address at Brighton Road, is cheaply put together. There is more seating but the kitchen and staff couldn't cope tonight. The restaurant is full and basically overbooked for what they can handle. Hope it will improve greatly next time we visit. Foodwise, it's OK, but not amazing. Thai spicy sausage is too doughy and the Tom Yum Seafood food is enough for 3, served in a big bowl at £10, needs better description in the menu. The menus are obviously the same old ones from Bath Place shop.

Wonderful food and a fabulous owner

Took my friend here last night who hadn’t been before. Both seriously impressed. Curries were huge, piping hot, fresh and delicious. It was packed to the rafters and you can see why. We had to take some home as it was so filling.

Best Thai restaurant I have eaten at outside of Thailand

Food took two hours to arrive then was burnt greasy and overcooked. Gluten served to a celiac. Very disappointing this place used to be lovely!

This restaurant is our family favourite for Thai food. Its the best. Staff are so friendly, the ambience is relaxed and informal and so accommodating. Big portions of food. Tastes so fresh, wonderful flavours - just like it did when I was on a tour of Thailand. I had a whole vegan menu to look through with many pages - how often does a vegan get that? My sister has developed an addiction to their yellow curry and we had to procure a takeaway too for someone at home so they didn't miss out. They are relocating to a different venue in Worthing soon. WE WILL TRACK THEM DOWN.......

Nice place ive never been to thai before so nothing to compare it too but the food was lovely and staff were very welcoming, would go again for sure.

Plates chipped, main course served whilst eating starters, pork toast greasy and had a nasty ‘twang’ to it, beef Penang tough, really not nice.

Authentic Thai food, and great atmosphere.

Really liked this place my first time getting food from Thai street food. I got some food to take away staff very helpful portion sizes of the dishes are absolutely amazing all the elements and flavours are there it's beautiful authentic thia food. I marked a star down for the food because the Thai fish cakes were over seasoned with salt in my opinion and a little soggy! That's my only negative apart from that all the dishes were absolutely delicious loads left over as well we'll definitely becoming back to this very friendly authentic Thai restaurant, also price is very reasonable. Thai Street food thank you 🙏😊.

We had a table for 9, as we are off to Thailand in Feb and wanted to go to the only authentic Thai restaurant in Worthing. Food was superb, we just let Yamin choose the food for us, it was superb washed down with monsoon valley Shiraz ( we are visiting the vineyard in Hua Hin ). Make sure you go to this wonderful restaurant.

This place is so lovely the food is all fresh and cooked so you can see is to the kitchen and see how they do it The food tastes out of this world and the portions are so large and its traditional Thai street food like you get in the villages not this rubbish other place make up to what they think English would like not this amazing home made experience of Thailand the decor is so beautiful it has a homely feel to it as well and the staff are so lovely and friendly and accommodating the food is at a reasonable and good price for the fresh quality standard you get I would totally recommend going here 😀

Unfortunately ordered a takeaway and only part of order delivered . Had to call and wait a further 1 hour for missing food to be delivered. No refund nor complimentary dish sent . Evening with friends ruined. Despite good reviews for eat in , not recommended for takeaway delivery.

Thai Street Food is a small restaurant serving authentic Thai food, the food was absolutely amazing. On entering the restaurant you are welcomed by a friendly member of staff, to look at the restaurant is a bit scruffy but don’t be out of by the appearance because the food is amazing, and the variety of choice over whelming, however the staff are on hand to help you choose. You can tell when a restaurant is selling good food when there is a queue to get in. I would definitely recommend booking a table before hand. Would I recommend this restaurant 100% yes, and will be definitely be going back.

Although it says street food, you can sit inside. The owners are incredibly friendly and love to chat with you in between being busy. The food was just fabulous and delivered quickly even when they are busy. My wife loved the red curry (I tasted some and it was good). I had the temura prawns (oh boy so nice) and the chicked sate (lovely sauce, could have been a little stronger but great). The spring rolls were hot. If you order the chicken sate, eat it first because it cools down more quickly than some of the other dishes.

Been here 4-5 times, it's our favourite Thai restaurant. The premises, service & food reminds me of being in Thailand. The food is fantastic, they use fresh, quality ingredients and I haven't had a dish in there I haven't loved. The portions are big as well which is great (especially for the sweetcorn fritters & tempura veg). We love coming here and would recommend it to anyone.

It's a charming, small restaurant with authentic Thai cuisine. The food is tasty, highly aromatic, and excellent. There's a wide selection of both non-spicy and extra spicy dishes, with reasonable portion sizes at affordable prices. The restaurant has a considerable mess, disorder, and chaos; it's not very clean, giving it a specific, quirky character. It's not a sophisticated restaurant but more of a street-food-style place. It was an initially strange but ultimately surprisingly positive experience. The place is truly unique. If you can accept it as it is, you'll enjoy pleasant moments with delicious Thai food. A significant downside is the slow, chaotic service; we waited 30 minutes for the bill.

We really wanted to like this place because of the great reviews and we love Thai food. Some of our best meals in Thailand have been in little, rustic beach huts, but unfortunately this place just didn't look or feel clean. Apart from the awesome corn fritters which were so flavourful and aromatic, our main meals were bland and under-seasoned. We wouldn't feel comfortable eating here again.

Really disappointed by our takeaway. Food was bland and everyone felt so ill afterwards. Prices aren’t cheap either, felt like such a waste. Usually we enjoy it here, such a shame we wont be regulars anymore.

We are from Australia and are fortunate enough to enjoy some of the best Asian food outside of Asia so our standards are high. We stumbled upon this gem in a back street of Worthing near the beach and it is excellent. It is delicious, fresh and made on the spot, nothing frozen. Plus it is amazing value for money! The chef comes out to check with each table-the experience was excellent and the flavours fantastic. Def must: try the massaman beef!

My friend and myself really enjoy the food. It is so delicious we are always going there. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

Hard to rate this place. Food is good but the chaos that swarms around the owner of the place is quite unpleasant. Makes the whole experience not worth it. The way she is treating the staff, shouting over the phone at delivery drivers and kitchen staff had made me not want to be a patron of this place any more. We had to wait one hour last time for our food with 4 other tables being occupied.

This place has been on our radar for a while and it didn't disappoint. Delicious food - great flavours. We had a light meal of soups and pad Thai. The soups were really flavourful and pad Thai on point. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. Staff were friendly and the prices seemed fair. It was quite busy but we got our food pretty quickly.

This place is like a hidden shangri la. Terrific food. The manager’s really nice. She takes care of everyone. And treats the regulars like her family. The rest of the staff are super welcoming as well. The raised platform adds an atmospheric depth to the restaurant as well.

Tasty, authentic Thai cuisine. The squid and duck are both excellent - crispy but moist squid and tender crispy duck. Simply fantastic. It is a very small tavern that I can imagine only holds upwards of 15-20 people at one time. However, this isn't a bad thing. It adds to the quirkiness of the place and really gives you that personal feel. I've frequented here for the last couple of years and the owner has always been happy to feed me. Will continue to visit as long as I am in Worthing!

Looked like a shack! A box of tissues for serviettes, staff chopping food 2 tables away, my beef was grey and chewy, frozen squid starter, my friend couldn’t eat hers as unappetising. Toilets rank, door didn’t close( just a alcove really) friendly staff but really a hut that should have zero ratings on all levels. I expected a street vibe but not that apart from cutlery I was eating in a mishmash with a youth club vibe. I was with a good friend and we didn’t want any stress this evening as both happy to see each other. I wouldn’t recommend at all.
