The best restaurants in South East

Not actually dog friendly - we were told you can only take dogs in the garden during the summer- therefore I wouldn’t say this was a dog friendly cafe - pity as it did look good

Where has the cafe gone? Its all stripped out 😲 was not expecting that! A refurb??? This was the best cafe in town!

What incredible ladies, who kindly catered for our children’s christening. Nothing was to much trouble, and they were extremely helpful with our special dietary guests. A super service, delivered with smiles and even more delicious food! They even added a special little touch and decorated their truck for the occasion. A massive massive thank you as it made the day so much less stressful for me! Keep doing what you are doing because it is great!

Omg a real jewel! Fantastic atmosphere and the food will make you want to sing. I love it that the menu changes, so next time you go there, they may have something new and different

What a super, family-run, friendly cafe. I often walk in from Llanmaes and have a tea, or coffee and the welcome is unparalleled. The art gallery is an excellent addition and the home-made cakes are excellent. Just a perfect little cafe! 5 stars every day of the week!

Sorry it has taken me so long to review. Visited a couple of times in October 2024. This is a hidden gem, as are all the lovely friendly staff. Booked for Sunday lunch and the restaurant was packed out, rightly so, the food was amazing and there was so much of it. Just when we thought we’d have to be airlifted out the crumble and custard arrived, wow!!! Such good value and tasty original food. Needless to say we didn’t need to eat again that day. As a vegan it’s a joy to visit such a wonderful restaurant. Even if you’re not vegan give it a go for the tasty food and friendly service.

This restaurant is first class, all dishes are done with care and they are fantastic. Last week, my husband Peter, my son Greg and I had the pleasure to have an absolutely amazing dinner at Bipul’s Kitchen where we had whole leg of lamb, and I cannot praise it enough, sincerely it was high on top of the one of the best meals I had in my life, everything was so delicious 😋 really yummy! I highly recommend as you certainly won’t regret it. The three of us ate a lot, and we are sure that would serve 4 hungry people. Truly fantastic option, we love all Bipul’s delicious food and the whole staff with their kindness and care but this a must, they really hit the mark with this dish! We followed all the great reviews and decided to visit Vital ingredients for some Caribbean food . Guys give it a go , you won’t regret it . I had oxtails and my family went for jerk chicken . The portions were really generous and the food super yummy . Great hospitality and friendly staff . We don’t live in the area and they all made us feel so welcome and to top it up the price was really good . Many thanks to all of you . Keep up the good quality . Hannah

Don't be put off by the drinks thing. This is a delightful and well-appointed cafe in what I imagine was (and still is) the local Post Office. We were greeted by a cheery lady who asked if we wanted the Post Office or breakfast! Imagine our surprise when she announced that full English is half-price for October weekdays. Well, that made choosing very easy and it was delicious and more than either of us could manage. Good coffee and friendly servers so an all-around 5* from us.

We really enjoyed our lunch in this little place. A wee gem in Ramsgate. I was with a polish person who loved it. Great food and lovely service.

Hi all this cafe is on the main road next to 2 schools and they offer parents deals in the mornings, they offer milkshakes and fresh cakes, jacket potatoes and more. Pop in and see Rachel!
