The Curry Lounge in Ashington is hands down our favourite restaurant in the area. Whether we’re dining in or ordering takeaway they always remember our names and greet us like old friends, and that personal touch makes all the difference. The food itself is absolutely outstanding. Every dish is packed with flavour, cooked to perfection and consistently delicious. We’ve tried countless Indian restaurants over the years including many of the top spots in London, and the Curry Lounge genuinely holds its own against the very best. From fragrant biryanis to rich, spicy curries and perfectly baked naan, everything is done with care and quality ingredients. The service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere always feels welcoming. Highly recommended, a true local gem that delivers five-star Indian cuisine every time.

STILL NO ONE HAS RETURNED MY EMAIL AS REQUESTED, OR OFFERD A REPLACEMENT AS SUGGESSTED IN REPLY Unfortunately my recent order of many turned up cold and leaking in the bag. Restraunt didn't help in replacing or offer a refund. Shame when you've been a loyal customer! Wouldn't normally post a bad review but I must of spend 100£s here. I called your reagrding an order I made the same week, it was Friday and I called Saturday. Just eat will not refund they say you handle your owns delivery's and they can't help. I sent you the email as you asked but heard nothing. How you felt with it on the phone was the reason for me review.. you went having none of it no apogee, no offer to resend the dish. Just go back to Just eat, once I told you they wouldn't help you told me there lying? So the reviews reflects through service after the order was late and I tried to make you aware. Never would I make a review without trying to speak to the company 1st! So you've got what you gave unfortunately for yourselfs

Booked a table for 8pm, we were seated at 8.10pm to a freshly cleaned table. That's the only good thing I can say about the experience. I must admit I was expecting Nepalese dishes, everything on the menu can be found at your local Indian restaurant. One dish, the Chicken Chilli and I quote from the menu, a touch of ketchup in gravy or dry. We had to ask for the menus, then we had to ask for our order to be taken. I then had to ask at 9.20pm,(an hour and twenty minutes after entering) if we were in fact going to be severed, 10minutes later our food arrived. During this time my friend had finished his drink, at no point did the waiter ask if he would like another one. The plates were cold, the food was so salty it was inedible, there was no spice to either curry and the naans were bland. The restaurant did not have any heating, when it was -2 degrees outside, guests were sat in coats or scarfs and hats. Back to the freshly cleaned table, due to the cold temperature it remained wet for twenty minutes. We were later informed the landlord was refurbishing the heating system that's why it was cold in the restaurant. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone.

Have been many times and also had takeaways. From my very first visit to the most recent I've never been less than impressed. The food is outstanding along with the quality of ingredients, the service is second to none. When my family visits it's the go to place for a special meal. Cannot rate highly enough. May our patriotism long continue. Worth more than FIVE STAR review.

Lovely atmosphere, good music and food was excellent. We tried the Amritsari Kulcha which was delicious and really filling. My parents also tried the paneer tikka masala, aloo gobi and tarka dahl with garlic naan. Portion sizes were really good and quite filling. Balwinder and Gurpreet served us and were great, smiles on faces and were so friendly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to all friends and family. 10/10 all the way!

Take away client. Chicken Shashlick is my go to. Kiln cooked & not in a high calorie sauce. In 20 years Dabbas really is the best I've ever had & its consistent. The chicken is cooked absolutely perfectly, soft & juicy when it can be over cooked so esily. All the sundries, rice, saag pander & salads all equally fresh & tasty. Delivery is also pretty quick. Cannot fault Dabbas food & service.

We had a fabulous meal as the food is always good, whether it is in the restaurant or as a take away. However we were disappointed to see a charge for corkage of £7.50 - assume this was for the 3 diners bringing their own alcohol. We were unaware of this charge- is this something new and is it
