I’ve been ordering from Lobon Morees for the last year or so and my experience has been extremely positive. Despite the longer delivery times [about 50’ on average in my case] the food always arrives fresh, tasty and well packaged. The team is also very responsive and helpful when I call them. Highly recommended!

Did not sit down to eat, so can’t comment on atmosphere. Food and service is fantastic. Order from them a lot and have never been disappointed.

Had a meal for six and it was wonderful. Would get another.

First time ordering and wouldn’t order again. Pre-ordered before they opened and was given an estimated delivery time of 1hr15 from opening time. The time passed - nothing. Asked for an update and it changed to 45 minutes later. Eventually it arrived 1 hour late from the original delivery time. Asked for a refund and a rather insulting £3 was given, not even 10% of the order value, leaving a rather bitter taste in my mouth. The food was ok, nothing special and it wasn’t worth the wait.

2 Kormas & 2 Keema naans on 10/4/24 - I tried this place for the first time and I was expecting it to live up to it's good reviews but I was severely disappointed. I'm not sure if the main chef was off for Eid but this was one of the worst kormas I've ever tasted. It tasted as though no spices or seasoning was used, only a base mix. I hope the owner takes the review onboard and I got unlucky and it was just a one off.

Have used this Indian takeaway several times now, every time has been great with fresh food cooked well and delivered hot, they will even substitute cows milk with coconut milk if you ask, there is sometimes a long wait for food but I see that as a positive

Amazing food always quick and tasty, highly recommend lamb tikka biryani and peshwari naan. Friendly environment always greet you with a smile. 10/10

Only put 4 and 3 stars as we had take away not sit in. Was abit anxious about getting from another Indian as once you've found one you tend to stay with them. I can say that this is our new favourite.......very flavoursome, everything tasted different, meat was tender and everything was hot. Will definitely be ordering again......food was a big 5 stars.

Been ordering here for a few months now as it's better than our Wendover option. Normally the food is excellent but a couple of times the food has been noticeably lower in quality but I will order again and hope that its at its finest.

The lady at the front was great and friendly. Food was good.. but oh my Guys the lime pickle is missing from the popppadom. Other than that the food was good

Excellent as always, although we were all pretty sure the curries that were meant to have tikka meat did not and only had normal.

Always been a big fan of Lobon Morees since they opened, and ordered lots of times, but the last few orders, we’ve noticed a significant change in the dishes that we order (new chef perhaps?) and unfortunately we haven’t enjoyed the food as much as previously. As a side note, on a couple of occasions, items had been forgotten to be included 😐

Very disappointed, in today's experience. I always otder from Lobon Morees and regularly order panned Tikka Masala, which is always top, tasty and by far my favourite Indian restaurant to order from. I am a vegetarian and in today's order I tasted some chicken first time in 10 years! Got the wrong food delivered and got instead of Paneer tikka Masala chicken. When calling them they promptly got the right order re-delivered however very disappointed, and will not be ordering again.

I’ve reviewed and rated highly before. But on this occasion terrible delivery service. I’ve waited well over 2 hrs 15 mins and food still not here. Despite website indicating it would be max 1 hour. Phoned to chase up order 30 mins ago and was told my food was “out for delivery”. This was incorrect - I’m only a 4 min drive away. Phoned again and was told my prior assurance was wrong but still not offered anything other than “sorry”. V disappointing - not how you treat customers.

We used these guys for a works function. They are a takeaway not a restaurant and we ordered 41 mains with rice and various sides. I expected them to turn up with a load of foil containers but no! They came along with hot plates etc and served us! The cost was excellent especially as it covered delivery, set up and two staff, who also cleared up afterwards. The food was excellent and the naan breads were massive! We had a Chicken Dopiaza, a veggie option, Bombay potatoes and rice. We were their first catered function and, since it went well they may well carry on. I highly recommend then, speak to Shakira, she’s a brilliant organiser, we will use them again!

5 star experience. Really easy to order, friendly staff when we collected and incredible food. A new favourite for us.

We have been looking for a good Indian takeaway since moving to the area, we were not disappointed by our food from here.

We live locally and do a take-away from here every 4-6 weeks Our meal last Saturday was especially enjoyable: the prawn piri [Chaat] and Onion Bhaji as good as ever, the Pasanda and Paneer were outstanding. Very delicious curry every time. Not overly greasy like most restaurants around. Nice varied menu and often packs a great level of heat. Delivery can often be a little slow. Price is very reasonable

We got out first takeaway tonight & it was AMAZING! The poppadoms were fresh and couldn’t be resisted until we got home! My boyfriend commented it was the best balti he had ever had. We could’t recommend the food enough. The behind the counter was also really friendly which was great.

Food was over 30 mins late to then have an awfully rude woman offer very little help or seem to care one bit just wanted to give me attitude down the phone! Chicken and chips and it took over 100mims and still didn’t receive it! Never using them again awful customer service and rude staff.

Since moving to the Aylesbury area from south London, I have been searching for an Indian restaurant to replace my absolute favourite go-to south of the river, with only limited success - a good dish here, some there, but never under the same roof. However, Lodon Morees has moved to the top of my local list - just. Whilst still not entirely comparable to what I was fortunate enough to have on my door-step before (the daal - my 'control test' dish - was uninspiring, and the Peshwari lacked the almond and raisins usually found in such breads), the panner biranyi (and a genuinely decent accompanying vegetable curry) was really very good indeed. Excellent flavouring, quantity and quality all on show. The only real downside was the delivery time - estimated 60-75mins, but in practice the food did not arrive until 2 hours had lapsed post order. It was piping hot though. Perhaps this is result of its popularity (and it being a Saturday night), but took the edge of the experience. Won't put me off ordering from them again as like to think this was a one-off and to give benefit of doubt - time will tell if another saturday order will be quite so delayed.

Great food. Unusual to see a tofu korma but it was very nice. The tofu had a good texture and is a good option for vegans. The rest of the food is very good too.

Found this little gem of a place when I stopped in the village, we ordered our first takeaway tonight after looking at the reviews on here and oh my word ! Beautiful food 😍 … I had the Lamb Rasooni masala which was out of this world tasty I like a bit of spice so asked them to make it jalfrezi heat which they did to perfection, my wife had her normal chicken jalfrezi and loved it. Good size portions, friendly and quick service and hot super tasty food ! Would highly recommend to anyone. This will 100% be our normal go to Indian takeaway from now on .. hats off to the team and there amazing food thank you

First experience of Lobon Morees. Lovely food and plenty of it. Very friendly staff and they were happy to accommodate my Wife's non dairy preference and while she was waiting they offered her a chance to taste a new dish. I can understand why they were so busy. I've visited this fine Take Away a few times as I reside in Weston Turville but usually use an Indian in Wendover. I ordered my Trusty Favourite Dish, Chicken Dhansak for myself & a Butter Chicken for my Wife with the usual side dishes. The Dishes were extremely flavorful & Hit the Spot. I will definitely Return

The best Indian takeaway around Aylesbury and surrounding villages. Love that it's a family run and doesn't taste like a cheap curry house. The tandoori is like no tandoori I've ever tasted. Incredible. They do a kids meal with a choice of curries my little boy loves the chicken tikka masala, great value for money.

Nice and tasty Indian food take away. Easy to order online, and we were able to swap the tikka masala (it was not spicy enough for us :) in the set menu for something new by leaving a note online. It turned out the new dish recommended by the owner (who was very friendly) was very tasty. Next time we may try something new again.

I have seen this restaurant quite a few times when passing by but never had the urge to try it. However, my better half had been out one night and had a meal from a local restaurant to where she went and I didn't want to miss out so ordered online for pick up after dropping her off. The food was excellent. Purposefully, I chose a dish I had not had before (Shobooj Hariyali (Chicken)) You will need to like spicy and hot cuisine for this one. Pilau rice and an aloo gobi complemented the main dish perfectly. Didn't write a review because I normally try three times before submitting a review. Well that hasn't happened. Last night ordered a delivery of Butter Makhani and a Methi Adhaa both Chicken with mushroom rice and Aloo gobi. Absolutely delightful. Food was hot and extremely tasty, so much so, I had to write this review. If I'm not careful, this could be my default Indian restaurant to eat at home. Keep up the good work.

We chose for the first time to order from Lobon Morees yesterday. It didn't disappoint at all. We were delighted with the speed, quality and tastiness of our meal. Ordering and paying online was very straightforward and the 10% discount offer for collection was most welcome. Overall, we found the pricing to be most competitive. The menu is tempting and extensive - with familiar favourites and appealing new surprises. I particularly enjoyed a chicken Shobooj Hariyali - utterly delicious! Portions were generous. On arrival , I received a cheerful, friendly and polite welcome from the Host - she seemed genuinely grateful for our business and offered terrifically good and professional service, despite clearly having to contend with a barrage of incoming orders (what an excellent signal of this restaurant's popularity). We were delighted to see this business thriving and wish it every ongoing success. Thank you so much!

Having spent the last few weeks delivering this restaurants menu leaflets, I thought we would give them a try. We were not disappointed, the food was absolutely delicious. It was hot, tasty and is definitely our new favourite. We would recommend them to everyone and will be our go to restaurant for Indian cuisine.

As a first time customer seriously not impressed!! Placed a phone order at 6pm; was told probably won’t be delivered until 7:15pm. Not a problem as it was Friday evening and obviously quite busy. After 2 phone calls at 7:30 and 8pm finally our food arrives at 8:10pm! Almost an hour late!! Not going to lie; the main, (chicken jalfreize) great flavour but the chicken pieces were almost non-existent and a bit tough.(not value for money) the rest of our order was mediocre at best! Very bad experience overall. Rest assured we will not be ordering from Lobon Morees again😢

Excellent food but delivery was 30 minutes late

Was told food would be 45mins and it took 2 and a half hours! When we called to see where the order was we got lied too and hung up on, then delivery driver gave us abuse! Terrible Indian really advise to not use

Ordered through JustEat from this restaurant and it was great. The food was better than any other Indian restaurant in Aylesbury and the food arrived 20mins earlier than expected which was amazing. We went for Biriyani, egg fried rice, chicken bhuna and some bread. The prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are good. Highly recommended.

We’ve had takeout from Lobon a few times now and it’s fantastic. Plenty of choice on the menu - especially for vegetarians which is great. Food is delicious, generous portions and always ready on time and hot! It’s so reasonably priced too. I would highly recommend eating from here if you haven’t already tried it.
