Rajbhuj in Aylesbury Vale

Ordered for NYE! Knowing it was going to be busy i came with expectations of waiting which was the case but this didn’t bother me. Whilst waiting i could see that the service from raj and his staff was still great under the pressure from being so busy and even offered people complimentary drinks. I was expecting my food to maybe not be as high quality due to how busy they were, but i was wrong! The food was impeccable! It was piping hot the chicken was tendor and the flavouring was out of this world. Thank you Raj and your team for what is probably the best indian i have ever had even on such a busy night. Happy new year to you and your team :)

We had Christmas dinner on 21st of December. Two people ordered Shimla Paneer we both were disappointed with it. Paneer and mixed pepper were cut very big and we felt it was not cooked properly. Secondly it was full of RED colour which they used. We also ordered Begun Behar. That too aubergine was cut too big and not cooked properly. We also felt our food was bit too oily.

We had a lovey meal last night , I have to say the mix platter was nice , spiced properly and salad with it was excellent and presented very nicely.

It was our first visit and we had a lovely evening. Welcoming, friendly staff and amazing food. We ordered selection of dishes, service was quick. Free choice of a drink after a meal was a cherry on top. Thank you for the great evening. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend.

Was quite simply amazing food and great service

Food arrived cold. Tikka masala & mango chutney was very watery and no real strong flavour. Chips were solid and stale. Jalfrezi was okay but extremely spicy. Would not order from here again. Very disappointed.

We had a lovely meal with you on Friday evening… everything was just fabulous. We were the very loud party who brought our own wine, not knowing you had a fabulous wine menu anyway. You were all truly gracious, thank you. And sorry to your other customers! This was my second time to this restaurant and it sure won’t be my last!

Absolutely dreadful service tonight. Been waiting nearly two hours and still not received our food. Being fobbed off every time we call and refusing to refund us!! Can't leave a star for food as we never received it.

Hi! Ordered from yourselves many times and never had an issue. Tonight the food ranged from being lukewarm to stone cold. Sorry but really not great. Never left a comment before (I know I should have as the food is usually good and you deserve it), but just a sub par tonight. 😕

Our first time dining in with friends. Service was really friendly and efficient. Food was excellent. Welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Altogether, a really good experience. We will definitely be going back soon.

Disappointed to be honest. Chicken Madras was floating with liquid/water indicating something defrosted…tasted bland and watery. Gutted as review looked good. Hoping it’s a one off but not great for £45 worth of food

Delivery - the two dishes were pretty bland, spicy poppadom was half the size of a normal one. And they didn't seem to read any additional comments or the request time for delivery... it turned up 1.5 hours early (was lucky we were in). Very average-

Got a takeaway this week for my mums birthday delivered . The food was plentiful hot cooked with love and all the dishes were delicious. Thankyou for a delicious meal had by all. definitely recommend try it! Chicken Pathia OMG!

The sauces on the chicken tikka masala and sag paneer were really watery and there was hardly any cheese in the sag paneer. The app suggests it was delivered around 20:25 but it was actactually delivered around 21:10.

Always top class food and excellent service. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

Food always fantastic and the service is excellent. We were there for a birthday celebration and the staff recognised this in their own way. This has s always my go to place for a special night out. Easy to find and plenty of parking - much easier than going into the town centre.

Had to wait over 2hours for delivery and had to meet driver in local car park food was cold when I finally got it

Amazing. Friendly welcome, delicious food, great service. Couldn't fault it. The restaurant was bustling with diners and people picking up takeaways. It is clearly popular and has loyal customers.

Due to Road work, the main road was closed completely and we have to take internal roads which was quick difficult to drive at night..

first time using the Rajbhuj and have to say very pleased with the food and speedy delivery, I think I have found our new go to Indian takeaway.

First time ordering from here and have to say the food is delicious and the delivery bang on time, food still hot and plenty of meat not just sauce with a few scraps of meat where other places in Aylesbury has done. Been trying to find somewhere that does a good lamb Rogan and this is the place, I have found my new go too Indian takeaway, thanks guys outstanding job 👍

As a local this is not just handy but actually highly rated! Great food, fantastic friendly service and plenty of parking if you happen to drive!

Foods quite good sometimes meats can be a bit overcooked

Great Curry house in Stone, just outside Aylesbury. Menu is interesting and varied, catering for many tastes and preferences. Order was accepted and I arrived a bit early for my order, I was kept informed and comfortable by the team. Food was excellent!

Absolutely loved RajBhuj Indian restaurant. Food really good. Went with the restaurants recommendation of the tamarind duck/madras strength. I had booked online & mentioned my husband's birthday. A cake with candle and music appeared towards the end. The heated Brandy went down well.

Have only moved to area recently and was hoping for a good quality Indian. Was not disappointed in the slightest with the food, fresh tasting superbly cooked food, will definitely be ordering from these guys again!

The restaurant was very busy. We arrived to a pre booked table for 4 adults at 7pm and ordered within 15 minutes, our food finally arrived an hour and a half later. We only ordered main meals no starters. A lot of other customers were complaining as well about the length of time they were waiting for orders to arrive. The restaurant also has a takeaway service which was also busy and people were sitting and waiting for a long time for food to arrive. Our food came out but had to wait for rice etc to be delivered as well. The restaurant did apologies and gave 2 of us complimentary drinks while waiting, as they did other tables, but it was a great disappointment to wait so long into the evening to eat. The restaurant didn’t cope with the amount of customers in there which is very unusual for an Indian restaurant in my experience. Food was nice but the wait ruined it for us…..

We normally dine in the restaurant but tonight we chose to have a takeaway.As always the service was second to none and in addition the food was absolutely delicious! We are working our way down the 'house specialities' and the Adrak Gulnahar Lamb and the Shobujbhag Chicken were scrumptious! We can't wait until our next visit.Thankyou to Raj and your team.

Really nice restaurant with staff that are very good at serving the customers. Felt very looked after while being here. Food was very tasty as well and good portion sizes. Will happily come again in the future, and hopefully have room for dessert next time!

Excellent birthday meal! I have had multiple takeaways that have always been good but first time eating in. Fresh food with lots of flavour and a relaxed serving style that gave you time but was still attentive. I had vegetarian mixed starter, onion bhajis are a fave size of a tennis ball fresh crunchy with plenty of flavour! I had a chicken tikka jalfrezi lots of flavour quite hot but really enjoyable, my wife had the lamb biriani that had melt in your mouth meat. Returning this week for a follow up!

My major gripe is the RajBhuj Indian restaurant places four small pots of chutneys on every table and then sneakily charge you £3.50 per person for them. I expect to be charged but not that amount. Three adults and two children under five came to £17.50 without anything else and the quality of the food was average. Some staff served you with a smile and interacted, others staff with distain. I definitely wouldn't return to the RajBhuj Indian restaurant again, it's a rip-off for nothing special...

The food is always exceptional. The madras was so so good!!! The only downside was that having spent £105 on a meal for 4 adults it would of been nice to have been given some complimentary poppadoms

We have been to Rajbhuj a few times now, and cannot fault this place one bit! Raj and his team make you feel right at home, and really go the extra mile to give you frankly the best Indian hospitality outside of India itself! The menu offers authentic North and South Indian dishes - particular favourites being the Adrak Gulnahar (with tender, juicy lamb), and Goan Sea Bass (for those who like a bit of spice, but still an abundance of flavour). The Biryanis are always perfectly seasoned, offerings from the tandoor are as juicy as you could ask for, and plenty of veg options too. It is very easy to find restaurants that offer generic options that often lack flavour, or you get meat but it’s dry - NOT here! Every single dish we have tried to date has been absolutely phenomenal. The chefs are another one of this establishment’s real assets. The ratings for this restaurant are consistently high, and this is well-earned. If you are in the area, don’t miss out on this one. We’ll be back again very soon!

So fresh. Such beautiful food. Can't believe we hadn't been before. Ordered lamb saag, lemon rice, duck special, saag rice and aloo starter with papadams. Absolutely faultless. Complementary aperitif at the end was a nice touch. 👌

despite usually being a great takeaway (and our go to) this last order was disappointing. The poppadoms tasted bitter and burnt, the bhajis were rock solid and the majority of the other food was also over done.

We are down here from Yorkshire. This place is fabulous. We didn't feel rushed and service was brilliant. The food was divine and not overpriced. Highly recommend the dining in experience. Pity its only a flying visit Orwell would visit again very soon

What can I say? I loved it, the quality, the portion size, the choice! Man the choice, we were really spoiled. And the wait staff was really informative and accommodating to our needs too. Would visit again, this is one of those hidden gem kind of places you have to be told about by word of mouth, no doubt.

Fantastic food and excellent service, for a very reasonable price. I love Indian food and this was up there amongst the best I’ve had. If I lived locally, this place would be a firm favourite. Our first time here - but definitely won’t be our last.

Usually we get takeaway from here but as it was my sons birthday we dined In as we did last year. Great experience, service is outstanding and staff couldn’t be more attentive and friendly. Food was excellent as is always my experience with Raj Bhuj. Very enjoyable meal for a large family group Good atmosphere, place was unexpectedly very busy . We had really delicious food with good portion sizes and met the owner. The food came very quickly and was nice and hot, I really cannot fault anything. The waiters were very professional and friendly. Our visit was on a Saturday, not many other customers due to HS2 works closing the road through Stone which has caused hardship to a lot of businesses in Stone. However, they were very busy with takeaways which was good to see. Will definitely recommend visiting this lovely Indian Restaurant.

Just had our first takeaway this evening. Delivery requested for 6pm and it was delivered at 5 past 6. Probably due to us having a house name and not a number. The food was piping hot and the order was correct. I had a chicken dupiaza and could only manage half. The portions are very generous and the pieces of chicken breast were huge and very tender. My partner had a lamb dish and he was very impressed.

The chicken in the chicken tikka main was really tough and hard, really disappointing as the chicken in the jalfrazi tasted good. Marked disappointed as that was the main dish for my partner. The sheek kebab was nice.
