Hello, I have been invited for evening meal at this place recently. I love the service and food was amazing. Definitely will recommend this restaurant.

We went for the Wednesday buffet. This is excellent value. The food itself was excellent, with some very diverse choices. The staff were attentive and overall it was very good value. We've been a few times and will definitely be returning.

Absolutely delicious. Well worth a visit. We had the Wednesday banquet special for 3 people. It was amazing. So much food left over. The service was superb.

We went for the banquet special deal that they do. The value for money was outstanding. The staff are very friendly and has a great atmosphere. The restaurant was full, everybody looked like they were enjoying the food, not mainly plates going back to the kitchen with food left. All our food was well presented, hot and full of flavour. We will be back for sure.

Unimpressed. Dining alone I was ushered to a table I didn't want to sit at, I wanted a place not so exposed. I pointed at one but was told no, I had to sit where they told me. Ordered Chicken Tikka Pasanda with mushroom bhaji. Passanda was a gloop sauce with no aromatics and some crunchy bits which didn't taste like almonds at all. Chicken was stale and tough. Mushroom bhaji was tinned mushrooms - normal mushroom don't come that symmetrical. Generous portion overall and the Cobra beer was perfect. However, to top it all, I am followed out of the restaurant and accused of not paying. No apology. Disappointing as I hadn't eaten since the morning and was hungry and just passing through. I don't normally write bad reviews which nit pick and would normally raise issues with the establishment at the time but it was late, I was tired and just wanted to get home.

First curry night for a while, meeting up with friends somewhere central. Traditional curry menu (with some good looking specials as well). It was just good food done very well, quality ingredients, properly prepared and well presented. Good service, attentive but not pressured. Would definitely visit again.

Called up to place an order, the guy was quite abrupt and because of the poor reception in my house he couldn't understand me. I tried to explain that I had poor connection and proceeded to order my food. All I asked was if they were doing any deals and the guy asked me if I was taking the piss and that this was not a macdonalds! I was shocked and angry at that response! The man on the phone pushed me to start an argument. Rude person on the phone and terrible customer service. My wife then attempted to call back to try and explain the situation and when she asked him for his name, he refused and challenged my wife to come over to speak to management if she had any issues, stating that he refuses to give any personal information. He then told my wife that he had other customers to serve and disconnected the call. I must admit I have eaten there before and the food was good, but not good enough to tolerate such rude behaviour. Some people need to brush up on their manners especially when assisting customers over the phone.

We tried this restaurant tonight and it was fantastic. When we got there, we was the only ones in there but they made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Incredible service and always made sure we was ok. we think he was the owner but one of the guys explained their starter to us and split it up into the three of us, just going that extra mile! Food was delicious, service outstanding and we’ll definitely be back!

Good food at reasonable prices. Grilled meats are a speciality here but curries are pretty good too. Better than any Aylesbury Bangladeshi/Pakistani restaurant by a country mile. Decent wine list too and also well priced.

Amazing curry and amazing service. Went on Valentine’s Day and they gave every person a rose and a box of chocolates. Lovely place!

Mid-week evening meal. Food was very good, although service on this occasion was rather disappointing and not up to usual attentive standards.

I don’t usually write reviews but this Indian definitely deserves it! The staff were so friendly, and very professional, they pulled the chair out and took our coats which you don’t get often in restaurants anymore. The food was amazing, so much flavour and the portions are very generous. We had the sizzling special which was amazing, with chilli and garlic rice, and the buttermilk chicken with potato! It’s a must try! I would highly recommend!

Ali is always polite and courteous, and the staff enjoys making your experience an enjoyable one. The food is good, this is our regular Indian restaurant so we have experience amazing delicious food, on occasion fair. Ali, always takes on feedback in a positive way.

I organised a Charity Banquet last Sunday. it was attended by 26 Guests. As always the Food was Excellent, the Staff were Professional & Friendly & the Ambiance/Atmosphere was Warm & Cordial. The Manager kindly gave me a Meal Voucher & the Event raised £219 that was Donated to the Cancer Care Hematology Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital

So the place comes with a very good name but fail to see why. Service was really bad, it seemed only one waiter knew what he was doing. Never had onion bhaji like it. Curry came and it was super bland. Did something I’ve never done in an Indian before and sent it back and asked them to do something with it. So they did. Made it super hot but still no taste. Disappointing

A previous review saying 'safe for coeliacs' gave me the hope to try this place on a mid week works nights out. Upon arrival, I informed the staff I was coeliac and they told me the entire restaurant was gluten free and I could even eat the bread (!) Obviously being sceptical I asked what the flour was being used in the bread, to which I was informed 'plain'. When I asked them to double check with the chef, the return answer was 'self raising flour'. Unfortunately, I found the staff to be unhelpful and lacking in knowledge around what gluten is. The menu is not marked with allergies or intolerances which made choosing a meal highly stressful process and relied solely on the same staff telling me if the meal had gluten in it. I appreciate I asked a lot of questions and was an annoying customer but the staff did very little to reassure me or answer my questions well. The food was lovely and the whole group had high compliments for their food. However, being coeliac, the staff made my evening fraught with panic that I was going to suffer the consequences. Had I been with just my partner, we would have left and not taken the risk, but as we were in a large works group I felt unable to leave. I simply wouldn't eat here again and if you have intolerances / allergies, then err on the side of caution and contact the restaurant BEFORE booking.

Full Indian menu as you would expect both Kingfisher and Cobra on plentiful draft! Service, staff, speed of service, food and quality second to none. Very pleasurable experience.

I am a coeliac and have to be gluten free, and not only were the staff super helpful ( I got to eat poppadoms!) but the food was really lovely. I had the fish and it wasn't too salty as it so often is. I liked it so much that I took my leftovers back in a doggy bag and enjoyed them the next day.

Had family dinner. Wonderful food and amazing service. Thoroughly recommend. We will definitely be going again.

Best curry house in the village

Food was amazing a little longer than predicted to wait for the takeaway but they were hugely busy so to be expected.

We like eating here, more because of the friendly service than the food which is good rather than great.

My first visit here. We were looked after by the super-friendly, patient, attentive and professional team. Extensive menu choices at surprisingly affordable prices. Cosy ambience, but well spaced-out tables. All in a pretty double-fronted brick andflint building; formerly The Four Seasons public house.

Golf pals night out ! Used this resteraunt a few times and always had great food and service, this time was no exception! Friday eve , so was relatively busy! Corner table with plenty of room and comfy chairs! Prompt service with drinks and taking our orders Starters came within 15 minutes and main meals came quickly after we had finished our first dishes, The food was hot and very good quality. The portions were so big that we took a lot of our meals home in supplied boxes! Hot towels chocolates and a brandy or other spirit to see you home come as part of the meal experience! The meals with beers ect averaged £28 each Great value ! If you like Indian food ,come here!!

I ordered chicken Kursan, it was very bland not much flavour. The portion for takeaway was small hardly any chicken and the Nan bread was tiny. The best part of the meal was the mushroom rice. Although a visitor to the area I will not be going back to this takeaway.

We have visited the Spice Garden twice and it has not disappointed! The food is delicious and the service is really great. We ordered two mains, two sides, rice, naan bread and drinks and it came to just £40! The atmosphere is lovely and I highly recommend this restaurant!

The Spice Garden is an all-round good restaurant in Wendover. Good food, good atsmosphere, good value and good service.

Went for my first takeaway last week at the Spice Garden ...always used the Prince of India before for over 40+ years but on this particular night the India was closed so decided to give the Spice Garden a try ......should have used it years ago ...found the princes portion were getting smaller ....they kept missing out things I'd ordered...and I was a loyal customer....the Spice Garden has definitely got me as a new customer.now ...the food and portions are excellent....they even gave me a bottle of beer to enjoy with my excellent meal ...something Ive never had with the Prince ....since the prince has been opened and I was there on the opening night Ive spent well over £45,000 and never once had a free drink .....looking forward to more meals at the Spice Garden

Family of 10 visited on a Saturday night, restaurant was full but this did not affect the evening one bit. 10/10 all round. Top notch service, delicious food, great atmosphere. Nice added extras at the end of the meal. Will definitely been returning.

It took the person 4 times to get my card right, the food took 1 hrs 45mins to arrive. The food was cold and average on arrival. Been using this restaurant for 6 years, standards have dropped, been disappointed with the last 3 orders, avoid if you can.

Had a takeaway last night from the Spice Garden! YUM YUM absolutely delicious and will order again.

We have been enjoying Spice Garden's food for quite some time now. We love our Indian cuisine and are particularly fussy and demanding, and their food is always first class. The quality of the meats they use is noticeably very impressive and their attention to detail with respect to spices, flavouring, and preparation is consistently brilliant. They are also particularly friendly, polite, and professional. The owner of the restaurant is most often front of house and always makes you feel welcome. We would highly recommend Spice Garden to others

4 of us rocked up at early evening. Had a stunning meal great starter 4 of us shared mixed platter. All our main courses were delicious. Service was excellent. Price was crazy vcheap for what we had all in beers as well under £100 for 4.

Staff were arguing aggressively in the kitchen and this could be heard very clearly in the restaurant. We recently moved to the area and this was going to be our regular Indian restaurant but after this experience we wouldn't consider going back

Took a friend who's never experienced Indian food before - our waiter was extremely helpful in helping her to choose and explaining the different heat and spices. The food was lovely, service extremely good. Highly recommend this place.

Awful. We had a group delivery. Had to complain as there was hair found in one of dishes and sub standard quality food. They did not want to listen and disrespected us. I'm guessing they have changed their staff as they used to be good. In fact the old chef probably quit now we have experienced their bad attitude

Ordered a large delivery meal and was dissapointed. The chicken korai had several dark hairs in it, the saag aloo was greasy with very little spinach and the garlic chilli masalla was loaded with sugar as a bulking agent and ruined the dish. To top it all off the staff member became very aggressive over the phone when requesting a refund, interrupting us when we were trying to explain ourselves and only offering a cash refund instead a refund via the method paid. Overall a dissapointing experience and would not order again.

First visit to this proper curry house. Food was so fresh , really good flavours, staff all lovely. Just sorry we hadn’t discovered this gem before .
