The food is nice for the price. Very friendly and never got our order wrong. Open early which is good for families with small children. It’s our go to :)

My partner and I ate from here late last night and today we've both got very upset stomachs. We're both quite unwell. I definitely won't be ordering from here again or recommending it to my friends.

Avoid the sag paneer it’s like cheddar cheese mixed with weeds from the ground.

Very very clean and very fresh food .I like this takeaway food . Birani and curry is very very good.i am agree its rates 4.2 stars .I hope in a future they have 10.2 stars .

Best tasting curry I have had in a long time

Poor....collection time was about an hour ...but when turned up to collect still had to wait extra 40 min....then didn't feel was up to its usual quality of good.

I’m usually quite ok with eating substandard food if I don’t have to cook it. This was the worst Indian food delivery I have ever had by miles. Everything had so much sugar. The bread was like rubber and the only edible bit was the few chunks of cauliflower. I’ve drowned everything in lemon or lime but it’s just insanely sweet. Call to the restaurant resulted in “its our normal recipe comment” They offered me money off next order but there’s no way I am ever going back. Avoid if you like actual food cooked authentically.

Very good takeaway service. Ordered Chicken Tikka Biryani from them. It was very tasty, well cooked and not over spiced. One portion is big enough for sharing. Would order again. Well behaved management.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years and boy!,it never disappoints. I love the fact that all the dishes truly taste different. Wide selection (biriani my fav) and they will always cater for different needs. Together with friendly first class service and good prices, what’s not to like. It’s a small takeaway (so no sit down) but well worth the takeout

I tried this place on a whim - and travelled all the way from Guildford to give it a go. The outside looked clean and well presented - and I’m pleased to say the food is very affordable. And although it’s reasonably priced the food is excellent quality too - fresh and tasty. ✅Lovely poppadums, mint and mango dips, fluffy naan and decent spiced curry. They do an excellent set meals too - I will definitely be returning.

The best curry I’ve had in a very very long while. The quality of food is fantastic, from seafood dishes to Vegetarian options.

I love it when the employer or employee talks in depth about the food you have ordered!!! A knew what I was ordering when I decided I wanted the Naga chicken! Was it the best curry I had!!?? No, to be honest, but not far from it!! Value for money, it was! Thank you and I hope you have the enthusiasm with people that do t know region in India. Will be getting again, that’s for sure and recommending best value curry take away! Why get one from the Fetcham tandoori opposite! That was not as good! Met the delivery driver while I was waiting. Nice chap. What more do you need???

We moved away to East Sussex nearly 5 years ago after living in ashtead and when we come up to visit relatives we always come back to Surrey spice for our take away. It’s the best!!

On the strength of good reviews we decided to order a takeaway from here. Whilst it did arrive on time, in the end the product we received was actually not what we expected and as such was a bit expensive. I am not normally one to be so critical, but this meal was not good in comparison to what we have eaten elsewhere, including in the subcontinent and Africa.The onion bhajis looked and tasted as if they had been double cooked, the veggie samosas had the appearance of having been cooked from a packet of frozen samosas (having cooked frozen samosas myself at home I do know what they look and taste like), the butter chicken was tough and there was little of it, certainly more sauce than chicken and the tandoori chicken might well have been recooked from the day before, certainly not as good as something fresh from the tandoor. The naan breads were sweet. Really the only dish which almost met expectations was the prawn dish, even if there was too much onion.On the whole, a disappointing meal.

I had been staying in Leatherhead on business for the week and the town center takeaways were awful. I decided to travel a bit further and found Surrey Spice. Totally different to what I had the previous nights. I had the tandoori mixed grill and a chicken shashlik. All the food was very hot, plentiful and well cooked. Just the right amount of spice and a naan to wash it all down.Very happy with my choice and worth waiting for.

Called multiple times with no answer. Eventually drove there on motorbike to make order for delivery and was asked to wait and take my food to go... on a motorbike... no offence but do they expect me to balance it so.ewhere on the bike all the way home. Food from here is generally really nice but disappointed In the service received that day.

Great food shame the don't pick up their phone when you want to order some of it.

Helpful staff. Food quality better than some restaurants. Chicken tikka is great. Foods not over coloured.

I have ordered from Surrey Spice servers times, each time I have been impressed with both the Quality of the Food and customer services! It's a shame that they don't have a restaurant

One of the better takeaways around. Can be a little slow on delivery. Go for something spicy, the less spicy dishes can be bland.
