Always great food, always delicious, always great service. Never been disappointed! Best take-away in Dorking without a doubt.

It's supposed to open at 5.30. I arrived shortly after 7, and the sign on the door said Open. But no lights were on.... So I couldn't eat there....

This my 5th order and it is food cooked with love , so nice and tastes fresh and delicious

Delivery arrived short of an item. No credit card receipt sent. What we were charged was lots more than the online menu. Phoned restaurant to politely discuss this. Owner was extremely rude, argumentative and shouted. Threaten me that he’d black list me from all Dorking restaurants. This is not a problem as I’ve moved away.

This is my second takeaway from here and it didn’t disappoint. This time we ordered king prawn Shatkora ( delicious) , mushroom rice, brinjal bhaji, saag bhaji, lamb madras and poppadums. The brinjal is the best I’ve ever eaten and I’ve tried many over the years. Ordered over the phone which was easy and was told it would be an hour wait as busy but arrived within the hour. I can’t find fault hence my review.

Best Indian takeaway for miles. I travel from Bookham to collect as it's right up there with some of the best I've had.

Top quality family run curry house, the best I've found in Dorking. Bosh!

Ordered a lamb tikka masala. Was presented with dry lamb in no sauce. Very disappointed.

Biryani delicious, lamb just melted in your mouth. Onion bahjis some of the best I've ever had. Naans fluffy and soft. Generous portions. Prompt delivery, polite and friendly delivery driver. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

I am really concerned that when the driver delivered our order he complained about where we lived and told us that this restaurant will not deliver to us again. I am not sure why he was so rude to us. Very upset will not use this restaurant again.

We have used Chilli and Spice for many years and have seen a recent decline in the taste and quality of food. We ordered our usual takeout which could not be done on the terrible online service as certain dishes are missing and prices don't add up correctly and it adds extra 50p here and there so CHECK when using this service. We phoned our order through and were surprised at the new cost of our takeout. Once our order was delivered we were not given a paper copy of the receipt from the delivery driver, who said he was not allowed to give it to us and there should be one in the bag, there wasn't. Then we spotted our 12 burnt popadoms. We called up chilli and Spice and first queried the extra cost added to our bill. We were told that we had a delivery charge added! We had just spent over 90 pounds and they charged us for delivery! In all our years using chilli and Spice we have never been charged a fee as the paper menu stated that orders over 20 pound get free delivery. This is disgraceful. Not only were the popadoms burnt, but the food is bland and tasteless. We have used Chilli and Spice as loyal customers for many years but will not be using them ever again.

Whoever is cooking please tell them the ceylon absolutely divine ❤ One very happy, and sated customer xxx

I had an amazing takeaway from Chilli & Spice. Everything I ordered was tasty and the portions were generous. The delivery service was fast and the food arrived hot. Couldn't ask for more.

I've been going to this place for years. Great food, but the online ordering experience is like something from 1995. Sort it out, guys.

Worst curry. Cold. Chicken very dry, inedible. Tasted like it was Left by someone else. Veg samosas only consisted of potato. Called to complain and phone out down. Will never eat from there again

Chicken was like sawdust, like they dropped it in a volcano, shouldn’t be charging for that poor a quality of food.

This score is actually a 3.5 but only because delivery service has been consistently poor over my last 3 orders. Ok last one was Christmas Eve. I should cut some slack? But the order clearly states ready for delivery by 7.30 (we asked for the 7.30 -45 slot as awaiting some visitors at that time). It arrived at 6.50. meaning we had to keep it warm for the next almost 1 hour. The previous two orders had been delivered late by 20 and 40 mins. Is there a clue to late deliveries in the post code? I don't know where 2EW is but previously our orders have been to Westcott before reaching us and we are literally 5 mins walk from the restaurant. Ending on a bright note. The food has always been reliably tasty and good size portions. It would be a foolish move not to offer continued custom but they do need to sharpen up delivery, Thank you for your order at Chilli and Spice (RH4 2EW). Wrote to ask about content of food but never got a reply. As many such outlets now use substitute meats especially chicken like compounds which may be only 51% real chicken, do we know what we are eating? My stomach illness following last week's meal could have been the result of unwitting consumption of soya to which I am strongly intolerant. Many will be fine of course. Can't be certain but the chicken pieces were unusually large and cube shaped. Do be careful.

Having felt the benefit of Fetcham Tandoori over nearly 3 decades of living in Fetcham, we were looking forward to trying our first new Indian restaurant on moving to Dorking. What a disappointment Chilli and Spice was. We ordered a takeaway. At least delivery was on time, but little else to recommend. Unappetising presentation, unless you like mush. mediocre flavours and little to recommend to friends. We will not be trying again. Hopefully rival restaurants will fit the bill.

Takeaway for the first time last night and was not disappointed, was an excellent meal.

Do not go there. Really rude staff, actually to the point after they got it all wrong they blamed us and literally swore at us. Massive NEGATIVE stars.

Got food wrong and was made to feel it was my fault. After many calls they eventually sent new stuff but due to confrontational service, we don’t trust so chose not to eat = £50 down the drain. Won’t go back again

Food was fantastic good friendly service

Even by Dorking standards this is the poorest of a poor crop. Avoid, like the plague. You can knock up a better curry at home just using a jar of pateks.

I hadn't used this restaurant for many years and didn't know what to expect. Because of Covid lockdown this had to be a takeaway. The order was ready within 5 minutes of arriving. The food was hot (not cold!) and of a very acceptable standard. I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them.

Just had a takeaway from here and it's hands down the best curry we've had since moving from tooting to dorking. Thoroughly recommend it over anything else in town.

Best curry house in Dorking! Ordered many takeaways from Chilli & Spice. Delivery speed up to Highacre always fast and food always fantastic. Recommend vindaloo or naga chicken if you like heat! Lamb biryani and garlic rice are also superb

Food always arrives hot and on time, brilliant selection of both classics and specialties. If you eat in, the staff are very accommodating and polite, will always check to see if you’re enjoying your meal.

We’ve visited dozens of times over several years. The food and service have always been 100% Never waited, always friendly and pleased to seat us, with or without a booking. We’ve tried lots of dishes and all have been delicious, but more than that, actually memorable! I wish I was eating there now. If I ate there as much as I want to, I fear I’d be as big as a house!

My mother had food poisoning after a takeaway meal here. When I called the restaurant to complain I spoke to a man who asked me my name. And then asked me if I was Muslim and if I was British or not! Totally inappropriate. When I finally spoke to the manager he told me they'd sold 15 of the dish my mother had eaten that night and no one else had complained. I find that very difficult to believe. Won't be going there again needless to say.

During lockdown we've enjoyed some really excellent curries delivered to our door by the staff of this friendly restaurant, our first choice for eating-in during normal times. Chicken shashni, and chicken shatkora, favourites of mine, and other treats, have been brought to the door exactly on time as arranged, and excellent they were, every time. Roll on the end of lockdown, and we'll be back inside the place!

Having ordered a takeaway Friday evening , lovely food but poor customer service when the food arrived without the confirmed order ! Will try again next time perhaps they can make a mend!

We was out for a walk last night and walked by chilli and spice , we got taking to a guy outside that works there, he gave us a few free pompadoms to take with us for the rest of the walk ! These were the nicest we have had in a while and thought we must try the curry out ! I can’t go more than a few days without a curry hit and the curry they delivered tonight was the best curry I have had since I can remember ! Everything was very tasty , I asked for the chicken well done and it was , the vindaloo was hot like it should be ! It was not greasy at all ! We were very impressed with chilli and spice and very grateful to have such a decent restaurant nearby that delivers ! Thankyou guys !!!

Get this most Fridays and it's always been consistently delicious. Huge fan of the garlic chilli chicken (spicy). I've tried a lot of the menu and loved them all. Portions are good, usually have another meal left for the next day.

Two excellent meals for my partner and I and great value too. Although at the opposite end of the high street to our hotel it was definitely worth the walk. I’ll eat here again next time I visit Dorking.

What amazing food. We arrived and ordered a takeaway. The staff and service was superb. We ordered and sat and enjoyed a drink whilst we waited. Nice atmosphere, very good Rose wine, fast service. Got home and enjoyed an excellent meal. Be back very soon.

I visited Chilli & Spice with a work colleague and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is cosy with a great atmosphere. The two waiters were helpful and not overbearing allowing us to dine at our own pace. The menu had a great selection of meals....

Modesto desde el exterior y, para ser justos, bastante modesto en el interior! El servicio era excelente y la comida no era todo el típico platos restaurante indio. Mi Jalfereizi era diferente de otros que he tenido y era muy picante (cómo me gusta).

Fui un martes por la noche cuando el restaurante estaba tranquilo. El menú ofrece platos típicos con el algunos nuevos (bueno, para mí al menos!). Pedí el pollo tikka biryani y fue excelente. Bien condimentadas, un montón de pollo y caliente. El servicio fue rápido y el personal era muy amable y nos registramos durante mi comida que todo estaba bien. Sin duda volveré.

Me decepcionó que ofrecían así establecido para llevar menú como esto es lo que normalmente voy para ya que siempre sale más barato pedir luego todo por separado. Los precios son bastante altos y un curry para dos con todos los adornos llegó a 38 libras. Me avisaron de que iba a tomar 20 minutos así que metimos a Waitrose para conseguir algunas cervezas cobra para disfrutar en casa con mi coche. Cuando volví pensé que sería descarado y pedir un par de vasos de pinta para el cobra como todavía no compró ningún para mi apartamento. El propietario rechazó la solicitud, aun cuando me ofrecí a pagar por ellos, que era un poco cutre y no dejar una buena impresión con mí. El curry como bueno no es sensacional. Me falta probar algunos otros restaurantes indios en Dorking pero hasta ahora yo recomendaría Dorking Brasserie ya que la comida es mejor y el personal de los clientes valor mucho mejor.

Are with friends and found it a good alternative to the usual options. Staff friendly and food good. Different menu and cheaper than others. Have had take away and very good.

Tuvimos una agradable comida aquí con amigos, pero fue la compañía y la conversación que hicieron la noche agradable, no es la comida, que fue casa estándar de curry. Lo que sobresalió fue cómo dulce estaba todo, el Korma 7.50, passanda, y platos paneer sabía como si tenían un montón de azúcar.

Visited here most recently on Sunday 10 January with a friend for a late dinner. We are always welcomed into a friendly and warm atmosphere - and the curries are definitely the best around!

Good food, good prices, Bangla beer! Great vegetarian options including channa paneer which was delicious. Chicken tikka masala large and tastey.

Most go when I'm dorking , great people, fast delivery to the hotel with a friendly face and food to satisfy a night in , only grumble I like my onion Bhaji round , crispy on the out side and soft on the inside but the flat ones from these guys are good and with there dips (special one!) is tangy and hot .
