Great food the salad portions could be slightly bigger and with onion.

Food was delicious as always but our Naan and mint sauce weren't included. They did send someone out again once I called though.

Just Eat app said there was a "cheeky Tuesday" deal and that Dorking Brasserie was a participating restaurant. However, no discount was applied at checkout like the app said it would be. This is false advertising. The food itself arrived slightly late and I did have to chase the restaurant, but the quality was very good as it almost always is from Dorking Brasserie. My biggest disappointment is the lack of discount applied in the way the Just Eat app said it would.

Food very bland. Staff nice. Setting fine. But it’s sadly not great food. A few years ago I had fantastic food here. But last few visits have been disappointing.

Order was 15 minutes earlier than we asked and when it came the naan bread we ordered was wrong and the 2 curries we ordered were not good at all! Very watery and no flavour. Real shame as we have ordered the same thing from here many times before but won't be using again now.

Enjoy the food but can I please ask why have you got rid of Keema rice you was the only place that did it in Dorking and now not on the menu.

Food was great as usual but ordered with the just eat stamps (supposedly a £22 discount) but it didn’t take it off my total when I paid.

The Korma wasn't the best,it tastes like the sauce was split and not as rich as it should be,very disappointing,it was lukewarm by the time it got here so not great.

I always go off menu here and go by the specials board. Third time doing it and it was very tasty, very rich and I'm glad I made the choice, but it was just on the salty side sadly. Otherwise, still a great place for curry and atmosphere.. always clean, staff are always polite and never had an issue (other than the salt!)

Not very tasty food, it arrived and all very oily. It was also not very hot in temperature.

Introduced to this place by a member of the local community. The food was decent but the pace in which the beers kept coming was terrific.

Regularly have take away with chicken shashlik. Usually enjoy. Tonight the larger pieces of kebab chicken had the texture of raw meat, really put me off my meal. Such a shame, also cooler than usual when picked up. Not a cheap meal so disappointed.

Cracking food as always and arrived 20 mins early!

Ordered here plenty of times before however todays wasn’t great. 20 mins late which would have been ok, however food was lukewarm & Poppadoms were soft.

I've eaten at Dorking Brasserie before and was very good, however the takeaway was poor, the Korma sauce was very runny and more like soup Tikka Masala not much better, was also cold, very disappointing.

One of the best Curry houses in the Surrey Hills (and I've tried a few) the menu is extensive with the usual favourites and some dishes you might not have tried before. The off menu garlic keema nann test was passed with flying colours. The staff are friendly and the setting is superb, old school curry house vibes set within a lovely period building. If I lived in Dorking this would be my go to hands down.

So, a poppadum, starter, main, rice snd bread and a beer has now reached £50 a head. That’s fine if the quality is good. I’m afraid here it’s not. Starters were bland apart from chicken momo which was good. Mains disappointed. Had to search for chicken pieces in the Kashmiri chicken, the lamb I suspect was mutton but might as well have been shoe leather it was so tough and chicken tikka masala was, well, red! This seem so to be the only eat in curry house in Dorking now and obviously has its fans, but on this occasion, it missed the mark for us.

The delivery was earlier than expected but that was no problem. The food was fresh and hot and there was plenty of it. The delivery driver was friendly and polite.

Fantastic meal, every time we visit here the food is always consistently very good. Staff are friendly and very attentive. We had a mixed started, all four different items were very tasty. I had a chicken shashlik which was cooked to perfection and my partner had a meal from the specials board, Hyderabadi Biryani with pomegranate riata, which was amazing. I will definitely ask for this next time we go.

We were a group of twelve friends in or near our 70th year. We were made to feel very welcome. The food and service was excellent - we have had 20+ Indian meals in over 10 years and our walking group rated this venue as excellent in comparison to many in the U.K.

Copious onions! So if you like onion in York curry you'll get on alright. Service was good, attentive and friendly. Lamb was tasty and not too tough. Naan was v hot and tasty. All in all a decent evening

We had a fantastic evening here. The food was excellent and the staff kindly chatted to us about how to make the best Dahl. They were informed, patient and friendly. We found the vegetarian food were our favourite dishes but the king prawns were also tasty. It was a really fun evening.

My partner and I visited last night for which was our first date night in quite a few months, due to moving and being so busy and working. I must admit we were very disappointed in service from start to finish. We had pre-booked a table. The table wasn't ready, cutlery just shoved on the table in front of us, drinks were very quick and served in a glass which normally you have water in. Our service was very rushed through the whole evening. When we paid. The waiter took the card, tapped it and just walked off. (No thanking us or asking how our food was) It seemed all about getting you in, getting your money and getting you out. When you go to resturants....you want to be welcomed and felt like they want you there. The atmosphere was awful...very loud, very bright lights and no music. The food was very good and that's the main thing. However we won't be going back. Your best to get a takeaway.

Too many curry houses spoil their offerings with too much MSG or salt - but not here. Beautifully prepared dishes, swift service, attentive but not intrusive. For some reason only the first time we've visited - look forward to our next

We ordering curry once in awhile but every time the quality of food it get worse. Chicken curry was like you add water and mix with rest of the ingredients. The rice was cold.

Nice place. Saturday night was very busy and once served you then couldn't get ayones attention if you wanted something else. Other than that it was a nice meal out.

Looking forward to meeting up with friends for a curry. Arrived and was given a table right near the door which wasn’t ideal as our friends have a baby in a pram which was in the way wherever it was situated-we asked to move but was told no but to move the pram! We ordered drinks-the coke was flat. We ordered poppadoms while we looked at the menu. Our starters came, it was very nice, the draught from the door was terrible. We asked to have time between state and main course but it was brought out almost straight after!! We asked for a jug of water and was brought a glass!! The waiters were hanging around our table removing plates as they become empty. We got the bill and was over charged for the pickles that go with the poppadoms, this was rectified. Over all a terrible experience-2 courses all done in 1hr 10mins, in and out the restaurant 1hr 10mins! The food was ok, nothing spectacular…will definitely NOT return as the customer service was shocking!!!!!

Normally graduate food from this place but tonight was terrible before I ordered said delivery was up to 45 mins after I ordered 1and half hours estimated delivery 2 hours later the food turned up not even hot and almost as if it had sat around for a while I think its time to find a new favourite

Great food the chicken was very tender which was a surprise usually the chicken can be over cooked from takeaways. No taste of burnt oil either which can also happen. This was a very good take away.

Myself and my partner travelled down to dorking for a belated Christmas with my daughter and her partner. We collectively decided on a traditional Christmas meal, a curry. My daughter has lived down in surry for several year and has been to this establishment several times. The staff were very friendly, food was both fresh and delicious. The one thing that has inspired me to write this review is the peshwari naan. My goodness, what a taste sensation. Soft, fluffy and literally melt in the mouth. Packed with coconut and sweetened by honey. Hats off to the chefs in the kitchen 👏

Hard to know where to begin. Smallish restaurant, with friendly, attentive staff. We had poppadoms which you could tell weren't fresh, ho hum. In our party everyone had a different main curry dish, and naan. The waiter took our order attentively enough but forgot who ordered what, no matter, but what did matter was that the naans were in one basket and no one had the foggiest as to which was which. Consequently, I ended up with a sweet peshwari naan for my vindaloo! Disaster, really. In any case, the vindaloo wasn't particularly spicy with big bits of onion. In fact there where more onions than chicken, all in all a bit underwhelming and disappointing. However, the biggest disappointment was the sight of Uncle Gee, with his beard, repeatedly asking us for beers and then serving them up.

Had to wait hour and half for food. Once it was here, it was very clear it had been sat on a hot plate as salad was warm & naan bread cold due to it being at the top of the bag. Normally wouldn’t mind waiting for food but if I do have to I’d like my food to be hot & fresh when it arrives not made early & left waiting for a driver.

For this reason we generally will no longer use them, however tonight we thought we’d give them one last try and unsurprisingly they have messed up yet again. Arrived to collect our order which we had prepaid for at the agreed time and they had no record of it. Eventually they found the ticket for our order and we had to wait outside in the car for it to be ready. Really wouldn't recommend unless your going to be eating in where they can’t mess up your order.

Terrible First time I’ve ever felt I needed to leave a review. First waiter was nice, took our drinks order and offered poppadoms. Second waiter came over 10seconds later and was clearly stoned, 2 minutes later gave us our drinks spilling one of them. Third waiter was the worst of all, insisted we ordered now as food will take a minimum 30mins. My girlfriend asked for chicken tikka main with a masala sauce on the side, he rudely asked why not order a chicken tikka masala when that’s obviously not what was wanted. Despite saying it will be a minimum 30mins the food came 5 minutes later, except the masala sauce. I asked the stoned waiter if we could get the masala sauce we ordered. He then brought out mint sauce, I insisted that’s not what was requested, £6 and 10minutes after the mains a masala sauce arrived. Food finished and bill requested 40minutes after arriving, what was meant to be a nice dinner out before Christmas ruined by terrible service. Then took 15minutes to get the card machine to pay after being rushed through. Chef was let down by the service as the food was nice.

I thought the food was siginificantly better than most Indian takeaways - really nice meal. The delivery was about 20', much quicker than the 1 hour + advertised.

Amazing food, service was ok but understandable because it was very busy. The waiters looked smart and professional. Enjoyed the daily special which was a duck curry. I look forward to going there again.

Despite just eat advising order received and on its way, it was not. Then called the restaurant and was told it was on its way. Another half hour later I called again and was told the restaurant had never received my order. Total time was over 2 hours. When you have children and guests, this is dreadful customer service.

We ordered a take away this weekend. Firstly it was expensive, it was small portions with 'hunt the meat' and 'hunt the spice' completely and utterly bland the Chicken Tikka Masala was more along the lines of Butter Chicken (Murg Makhani) and it was cold. This was our first time ordering here and tried the take out before dining in. I was surprised at £6.95 for a side order of Chana Masala (3 spoonfuls of chick peas no less) and the Naan was £3.95 - flour and bread and very small!! Needless to say a very disappointing experience an we will not be returning as either a take away or to dine in,

This was supper out on a business trip, we were tired and just wanted some food a few drinks and back to the digs to collapse. Well, what a surprise, this is a nice place it's sort of elegant, nice furniture, smartly dressed waiters who were really nice, good at their jobs and professional. This felt different to the hundreds, that might be a slight exaggeration, but only slight, to the many lets call them "Indian" restaurant's although most of them aren't that we've visited all over the world. This is nice, not massively different, but no stupidness or gaudy tigers leaping out at you. The menu is good, not huge which always scares me a little but it reflects the region's and therefore the flavours quite well and ticks enough of the boxes for most I would have thought. We spotted something we'd not seen before, or if we have we'd missed it; Peshwari chicken. I know what you're think Peshwari Naan, well it's nothing like it. it's not sweet, it's stunning. Out of the thousands nay possibly more, I think I might be exaggerating again, anyway out of a lot of fantastic Asian restaurant's we've had the pleasure to dine at this has to be one of the best dishes we've had. This is worth a visit for this dish alone, to be honest this is why I've bothered to write all this nonsense. I'm hoping that it wasn't a fluke, a one off where the chef accidently put the wrong something in and created a masterpiece that we ate never to be tasted again, it could happen! Anyway, If you're looking for somewhere to eat in this sleepy little town one evening and you happen to fancy a curry then this place is worth a visit. If you go try the Peshwari Chicken and say Richard recommended it. I have no idea if we'll ever be back in Dorking, but if we are I'd love to go back and ask how many people asked for this amazing dish. I might get a free Kingfisher, who knows, it's all well exciting. Don't forget, Richard said to try the Peshwari Chicken Thanks for reading and hope you enjoy :)

The food here is nice enough, but I think they're trying to be a little bit more upmarket than they actually are. Everything on the menu is overpriced for what you get. The curries have always been lovely and not too greasy which is a regular issue with other similar places, but the onion bhajis are dry and bland. Not my first go-to, but options are limited in Dorking for Indian food!

Despite being a customer for many years I sadly feel the service let's this place down. Always a good meal (which you'd expect as prices are quite strong). Last few times we've just felt like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. Such a shame. Not all, but the majority of the staff need to be happier and more patient...

This used to be our favourite Indian restaurant in Dorking some time ago. Visited 2/3 times since covid and had a delivery. None of it was good. Food did not taste the same and I don’t think the Nan was freshly cooked.

Food was spicy hot when not specified on the menu had to return starter . Chicken for main meal was a bit tough - overall not a great meal 😕
