Very good Indian restaurant, with a lot of various Indian recipes. Fine and hearty dishes. Don't hesitate to push open the door, because from the outside the windows look tinted, so you might think it's closed; but in fact the atmosphere inside is hushed and calm.

We came here for dinner as we were staying at Hever Castle and wanted something different to pub food as it was a special occasion. The food here was wonderful, one of the best Indian meals we have had and the service was great. The price was very reasonable as well and just a short drive from Hever. Thank you very much!

We love this restaurant to eat in and take away. We moved to Edenbridge 4 years ago and can’t believe we live so close to one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve been to in the UK.

Family run and worth a visit. Quality.

The place is as good an Indian restaurant as you’ll find in Kent. Naan bread is to me the tester and the Peshawari was great. Had a spicy lamb sauce dish with the naan and it was very good as expected.

Collection was originally meant to be 20 minutes. Received a notification saying the food was ready to collect after 22 minutes. They then proceeded to take another 20 mins while we were there to actually get us our food. A shame because the food is good

Great meal on a Saturday evening. We left it very last minute and they were able to accommodate us. The food was amazing. We had takeaway from here before but dining in is even better. The service was very good even on a busy Saturday evening. Thank you! We were too hungry to remember to take photos!

First visit to this Indian Restaurant and actually very good, we are a bit fussy with Indian food :) Really looking forward to going back again and trying some different dishes. The Pathia was great as was the Tarka Dall. Service was unhurried and calm. Not too expensive, good portion sizes and served with a smile. Clean and fresh environment. Thank you Edit: Came back, tried the chicken tamarind. Would better as a small side dish. However the King Prawns are incredible.

Ordered takeaway at 6.30pm. Gave names address and postcode. Told it would be an hour which was fine. After 2 hrs i rang to be told there's a mistake and would be another half an hour which was not acceptable. So me and the mrs had a bacon sandwich instead and saved £48 So if you're looking for a quality takeaway Indian in Edenbridge pick the edenbridge balti. Half the price and delivery in half an hour.

Enjoyed a lovely meal on a Monday evening. The food was fresh, delicious. Portions were generous and the setting very relaxed. The service was friendly and we had a lovely time. It was very quiet being a Monday so at times the staff were a little too absent and could be heard talking loudly in the back room. A small point but I'd suggest a staff member checks on diners a little more often on quiet evenings.

We had a warm welcome. The owner/manager was very attentive. The food was the best Indian food I have had in a long time and the service was brilliant. They have great vegetarian/vegan options, clearly marked on their menu. The food was fresh, flavourful and so filling! We will definitely be returning - it was so nice to have somewhere to 'eat in', as there are limited options for this in Edenbridge.

Food was definitely microwaved and not clocked fresh, lamb was dry and chewy and inedible, fish was rubbery (clear sign of being a microwaved dish). Lacked flavour and have not been able to eat any of it. Will not be ordering again. Save your money or go somewhere else!

We were on holiday from Berlin, looking for an Indian Restaurant nearby Hever Castle and we found the Quality Tandoori. We can highly recommend this wonderful Restaurant, the food was absolutely stunning, we didn't expect this high standard in " the middle of nowhere". The owner is very charming and he truely stands behind in what he is offering, his secret: " the food can only be as good as it's foundation is." And wow these foundations here were truely excellent. Thank you again, we enjoyed our diner very much. Please come to Berlin and open a branch !!!

Looked for the highest rated place to eat in Edenbridge and up came this place. Wow what a find! Very welcoming, spotlessly clean, tables laid ready, white cotton tablecloths and serviettes. An interesting menu and different choices from many Indian restaurants but chose my favourite tandoori chicken. It came sizzling 2 large pieces with lots of fried onions and green peppers. The mint yoghurt had lots of mint. All the other diners food looked amazing too the services wasn't rushed but was just right. Well my choice ,thanks to other reviewers, was perfect. The best food in the nicest Indian restaurant. Thank you.

Absolutely brilliant Indian takeaway. We were staying at a house nearby for a birthday get together. I called up in advance to see if they could do a delivery for 14 adults they said no problem and just give our order in the day before. We had a huge order which we asked to be delivered for 7pm on a Friday (obviously a busy time), food was on time and excellent standard. Would 100% recommend.

I have dined in once with friends and the service and food was fantastic. We have had delivery twice and the meal arrived before the suggested E.T.A. This is the best Indian food I've ever had and I have had many. Truly is fine cuisine and well worth the price for the freshness and quality of the food. The rice was incorrect - ordered mushroom rice and pilau delivered The popadom was very overpriced - over £1 per popadom? The chick tikka starter surprisingly didn’t come with a side salad - which is what I would have received if dined in.

Always amazing food from Quality Tandoori

I give it 5 point cause the meat is not chewy or fatty unlike the other 2 Indians in the area. You gotta try the lamb bhuna, it's to die for.

Usually excellent but today we paid £2 for two broken poppadoms and the curry was cold.

I can't recommend this place enough. The food is next level. So delicious and beautifully presented. The service is amazing and the interior is so elegant with an attention to every detail. Lovely experience! And OMG you must try the "Magic Cauliflower". The 1h drive was worth it and this is definitely the best Indian restaurant I've ever been.

My wife and I got a takeaway from here for the first time - food was delicious but let down by the huge amount of plastic. Plastic bag and (largely non-recyclable) black plastic trays for each side. We’re both mindful of waste and will be happy to go back/recommend to others when the packaging is improved!

Great delivery service, food was amazing.

Food delivery was slow - I normally collect but have a poorly child so had no option. Called to enquire where it was and was hung up on. Called again and told my order was about to leave the kitchen. Food was lovely and hot. The naan bread was missing from the order. Will give another try.

Really enjoyed our meal here. 1st time we have been and are going back this week and taking some friends with us. I only gave it 4 for atmosphere as it was quiet but still a great evening, staff are friendly and welcoming and food was wonderful.

We visited this restaurant after it was recommended to us by friends who have been here several times so we attended with them. The food was excellent and the service very good. The atmosphere was good and it was busy as well which is always a good sign. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back again very soon.

We had our 1st delivery from qaulity tandoori. We went to collect it and it was cooked and ready to be collected when we arrived. Food was perfect, by far the best Indian I’ve had in a long time. Throughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Portions sizes are good aswell. Food was hot when we arrived to collect. Friendly staff, will definitely be ordering from here again. Or even and sit in to eat dinner.

Staying at Hever castle but restaurant was closed that night. Visited Quality Tandoori (10 mins away) and can say quality of food and service was fantastic. If we visit the area again, will definitely revisit. Highly recommended.

I have been visiting Quality Tandoori since I moved to Edenbridge in 2007. Mr Ali and his family brought a little finesse and style to Edenbridge High street with their amazing menu and excellent customer service. Last night, myself and my family visited the restaurant again and as usual, we enjoyed a fabulous meal and excellent service from Ifty, our waiter. Ifty, to my mind is the face of Quality Tandoori and is always most professional, yet personable. Thank you Ifty for yet another fabulous meal! See you again soon

Me and my Husband have wanted to try this restaurant since we moved here 18 months ago and we were not disappointed. The food, service and staff were amazing. The restaurant was so clean and the service was 100% spot on. After all of my years of eating curries this was by far the best one EVER! It was our 3 year wedding anniversary and we were suprised with a desert. Cannot wait to come back and try something else. Thank you so for everyone for making our special night perfect x

We were visiting Hever Castle from West Sussex and having checked the menus of the various pubs within a reasonable driving distance of The Castle, we decided to give this restaurant a try. What a surprise ! The curry was really excellent...hot (as we like) by very tasty and full of flavour. Quite possibly the best we have had in UK. The decor was lovely....not at all similar to most "curry houses" and the staff were attentive and polite without being overbearing. We even took a "doggy bag" back and will have a remainder of our meal at home tonight.. Highly recommend anyone who is a curry fan and is staying at The Castle book a table at this restaurant and be prepared to ENJOY your meal...

As it was bank holiday and the queen's jubilee, I was expecting the food to take a long time. The food however, arrived within 20 minutes of ordering. When the food arrived, it had very obviously been prepared in advance and then microwaved, even the salad items and lemons had been microwaved. This resulted in the meat all being very dry and almost inedible.

Very friendly waiters and tasty food! We were impressed at the portion sizes and loved the garlic naan and saag dhal ( each dish was top class!). The mango lassi is a must. Left very satisfied with our meals. We would definitely visit again, or order a takeaway.

We had a most enjoyable mid-week meal here. Attentive and charming service, good cooking and well-presented food. The portions are generous - we came home with a doggie bag as we couldn't eat everything. The price is reasonable, and we would certainly go back again.

Always a fantastic visit. Food is full of flavours and served piping hot. Staff are friendly and accommodating. I can never make my mind up so ask for their opinion and they always choose well for me.

The take aways tonight were awful. 2 lamb pasandas were not edible, the lamb was so tough it couldn't be cut so both are in the bin and the jalfrezi chicken was just about ok.

Went here yesterday for dinner. The food was amazing so authentic. Had king prawns, lamb chops and bang bang cauliflower I think it was called. Top quality will be returning. Staff great too thank you

Booked a table for 7pm for 9 people. Was an hour before starters turned up. Then kept asking when main course was going to come. 9.15pm fed up waiting, so we walked out. No apology. They seem to give priority to takeaway orders. As you are in the restaurant they keep trying to get you to order more drinks and think they’ve got you hooked. We kept seeing more and more takeaways coming out of the kitchen. Total waste of time !

Delivery was 2 hours - food was still warm on arrival but starters were soggy and the other food average

We were regular customers of Quality Tandoori when Me Ali ran it. We have tried it a few times under the new ownership and thought it was average but definitely not to Mr Ali’s standards. Tonight we ordered a takeaway for delivery. It arrived 2.5 hours late, cold, and in non recyclable black plastic tubs. I has to call the restaurant twice to find out where our food was and was told I could have a discount on our next order. Unfortunately we won’t be returning in a hurry.

We drove two hours to get here and I wasn’t mad! What a lovely dining experience from start to finish. The food is as good as it looks in the photos. The decor is updated and contemporary and the service attentive, friendly and prompt. If you love Indian food don’t miss QT.

They have recently refurbished the restaurant but it has lost none of it's magic, the food and service are just as great as they've always been.
