Saffron in Surrey Heath

Have been many times and also had takeaways. From my very first visit to the most recent I've never been less than impressed. The food is outstanding along with the quality of ingredients, the service is second to none. When my family visits it's the go to place for a special meal. Cannot rate highly enough. May our patriotism long continue. Worth more than FIVE STAR review.

Was staying in a local hotel and googled for restaurants close by. It was an England world cup game night and it was empty on the streets, and this obviously impacted the local restaurants which were also empty. However, the food and service was lovely, the atmosphere was obviously not a typical Friday night out but the staff were very friendly.

We had our first takeaway from Saffron this weekend and enjoyed every last crumb! We will definitely go back and also try eating in; looking forward to the start of Sunday buffets

A second amazing night with fabulous cuisine and outstanding service by Ranzi and his team for 30 of us. Hosted us first in June and we returned 2 nights ago back by popular demand. What a host and delicious selection of starters, great combination of curries, his own special sauces and a party night that was as good if not even better than our one in June! Highly recommend Saffron for their food, amazing service and attention to our every need. We will be back again soon- thank you Ranzi and team at Saffron!

This is an exceptional restaurant with succulent cuisine & phenomenal customer service. Every person in our large group had a fantastic time & we will definitely be coming back in the future!

Beautiful food, amazing atmosphere and faultless service at Saffron Cuisine. Arguably the best curry myself and my wife have had in this country! We will be back, thank you to Ramsey and his team for a lovely evening.

Wonderful staff and India food that is definitely a cut above the rest - great spices and high quality ingredients. Saffron has become my favourite local restaurant. Definitely worth checking out for eat in or take away.

Came here on a late night one for a couple new years drinks and the food. I was greeted by Ranzi, very nice bloke, made me feel welcome. I decided to buy some food while I was there and was unsure about what to eat so he recommended a curry to me and it was easily the nicest curry I have ever had, I wish I remember what it was called so I could share the recommendation. Drinks were fairly cheap and the food was reasonably priced. 10/10 would strongly recommend!

Visited on the 10/12/21 for my birthday. Ranzi and the team where as usual outstanding, even made me an off the menu home style dish which was incredible had a great evening thanks to there service attention and high quality food. Thanks again to Ranzi and the rest of the team. Five stars yet again.

Superb food, I would reccomend saffron to anyone who appreciates good Indian cuisine..only had takeaways so far, Friendly staff. Highly recommend the tikka jalfrazi (my favourite)...perfect!.

We ordered using the website and the food was ready for collection in 20 minutes. Lots of choice, very good food and good sized portions. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Reccommended!

My review on here has been deleted. How many more have been deleted. Ordered last xmas. Delivery times shockingly bad and lied to us saying was on way. Went to restaurant and was rude even though we were regulars. Instead of talking to me to solve issue, he went and answered phone to take more orders and delay them also. Money more important than service and quality. Rude and couldn’t care when under pressure . I’ll never go back

Ordered food and it took over two hours to arrive. The restaurant wouldn't answer any of my calls and when my food finally arrived my order was wrong! Cannot warn people enough - avoid!!!

We have just eaten our delicious food from Saffron..absolutely delicious.The mixed platter was succulent & spiced beautifully.The Dansak has a real sweet,sour & with a lovely kick of warmth.So lovely & refreshing not to have curry without an inch of oil floating on top.Our first order..Our new found place.

I ordered food from this restaurant using their restaurant's website on 17th of August 2021. Food supposed to be delivered within an hour as they mentioned in website but it did not arrive at all. I phoned them multiple time but they did not answer. I went to restaurant to see whether they are open or not, but they were closed. So I emailed them twice regarding this but I have not heard any answer from them. I've got no idea about how can I get my money refunded. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you.

My other half fancied a curry for dinner, after a quick search this place turned up. We were welcomed by a very friendly gentleman. The popadoms were fantastic along with the onion Bhaji. Overall we had fantastic food, even better service run by a family business. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back and will be recommending to everyone who passes by.

Really disappointed. Ordered a takeaway and 2 hrs later it still has not arrived. We were told at 8pm it would be 5-10 minutes. Can’t believe how they have still not arrived at 9.15 pm. Totally disgusting customer service

Actually had high hope's with the reviews, but very Very disappointing .. the food had loads of turmeric... My fingers were literally yellow!!! Ordered chicken biryani - rice was just ok, and chicken pieces were about 1 to 2 cms long!!! ... sad Mushroom rice - rice was absolutely dry, n the mushrooms were so few n had no good flavour at all Saffron mix - a mix grill that tasted just Ok... Methi Gosht - no methi flavour at all!!! They use dry kasthuri methi...sad Garlic fried prawn - loads of crunchy onions, chunks of sliced garlic, and lots of turmeric...no garlic flavour at all!!! Very very disappointed

The best curry I’ve had for ages. Very generous portions and cheaper than a few other places near by. It was delivered bang on time. Definitely will be ordering all my curries from here from now on.

My partner is very picky and he ordered chilli chicken ( can’t remember the exact dish) which he loved. A lot of restaurants that have turned to deliver due to lockdown have really let themselves down with the quality and service. Such a shame as they really needed to up their game. However Saffron has exceeded my expectations. 100% recommend.

In a word, brilliant. Lock down meant I could only experience their take away service but, even from this, I would strongly recommend Saffron for a visit or for your take away. My order was ready for collection exactly when promised and I received a friendly and professional welcome. Indian food has long been my favourite treat, but I rarely indulge, especially over the last 12 months while I've been on furlough. This means that my expectations were extremely high and disappointment very possible. I needn't have worried. Our food was superb. The flavours of our various dishes were distinct and without any of the unpleasant oily greasiness that can be found in low quality Indian food. Our food was clearly of very high quality, subtle spices added to the overall flavour rather than dominating the dish. I do enjoy spice, and indulged in their hottest dish, the vindaloo, but I do know that sometimes lazy Indian food uses spices and heat instead of good flavour. This wasn't the case at Saffron. My Vindaloo was spicy AND tasty, nuanced AND hot. Delicious and highly recommended!

Ordered a take away tonight from Saffron. It was delivered promptly and the food was simply delicious. Highly recommended.

Had to leave home to get an answer where our delivery was that we ordered and were one of the first to order. Over two hours late. Now been here a few times but just goes to show that someone attitude can change in an instant and Ramsay was rude and didn’t give a damn about his customers!!! Disgustingly treated and I won’t eat here again. I hope your business goes under!!!

Good food with reasonable delivery time, the driver was very friendly. Overall I was a bit underwhelmed by the food it was cooked well but lacked flavour and quite oily overall. This place is quite pricy for what you get in my opinion. We got a little over £40 of food for two of us and rather disappointed that there is not alot left over. I would expect to pay this for 3-4 people at other places I have tried. Overall though the food was good, the meat nice and tender not overcooked at all and it was all hot on a cold and rainy evening, we are both suitably fed none the less.

Just had dinner in Saffron and can't recommend them highly enough. everything was great from the service to the starters to the wine. I had the chilli chicken because it was recommended to me and I was not disappointed, really it was delicious. Very friendly...

The Jalfrezi was tastless but spicey. Looked like a korma but tasted disgusting. My partner was happy with his curry. However we both have food poisoning today so would not recomend! Gutted as we heard such good things about this restaraunt prior to ordering.

We have had this Indian about 5 times now, it is hands down the beat Indian we’ve ever had! I bought an Indian for my grandad from there a few weeks ago, and even he said it was a very good Indian! We’ve never eaten in the restaurant, but there take away service is amazing! You do have to wait roughly an hour but it is so worth the wait! Great experience from here!

Moved to the area last week and have in heard great things about Saffron. The chicken Tikka is amazing and the owner and brother were fantastic hosts. I can’t recommend this place enough. So I've lived in Camberley for 18 months and used a local company in Camberley town for an Indian! During lockdown I used saffron on the old dean Camberley! And the flavours and dishes are out of this world! I've ordered from all! The great thing is saffron is on my doorstep and they are a restaurant aswell. I'm so glad I found this hidden gem I've even got my parents ordering from saffron who live in chobham and they have 2 Indian restaurants there! They dont come close to saffron menu and taste! Keep up good work saffron and when we are aloud we shall come in to restaurant 👍 cheers

Food arrived quick, Unbelievable curry perfect amount spice and abundance of flavour, the workers are so genuine and can have a good laugh aswell as being professional would fully recommend.

Great food and service with a wide selection of quality Indian cuisine at its best. I was also invited to inspect right round the kitchen which was very clean, tidy and well run.
