The Kiosk in Thanet

What lovely people! I ordered 2 ice creams and offered my bank card to pay, only to find it's cash only. I had no cash at all. The lovely lady and gent serving asked me to jot down my name and address and asked me to return with the cash when I can. Without this act of trust and kindness I would have had two very disappointed grandchildren. - thank you Alison's sev view cafe. Will definitely be back - to pay ! Will also reccommend you too.

I go here quite regularly when I take my dog EBONY for walks in the park. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is excellent and the home-made bread pudding and fruit cake are a must to try. In fact have bought portions to bring home for tea.! I have had breakfasts which are nicely cooked and presented and at a reasonable price.

It was a lovely sunny day and I thought I would go to Alison's for a breakfast and take my dog Ebony for the walk. I had a lovely meal of chips, eggs, bacon and sausage with a few mushrooms and a sprinkling of onion. It was nicely cooked and the eggs looked really nice and i thought cooked with care . A few days later we went back and had a lovely chocolate milk shake !! I have been to Alison's quite a few times over the year and must say have not had a bad meal or snack and the staff are really friendly and helpful.

Great place to stop mid walk or bike ride. I opted for a bacon roll and an egg roll. Three hefty chunks of bacon and three eggs. Unbeatable for taste, value and service. Comfortable picnic tables too. Carlesberg don't do cafes, but if they did...

Hi everyone, me and my dog Suki were in the park the other day, and noticed there was activity at the kiosk. We stopped and had a chat to the owners who were preparing for their opening again on 17th February. They told me that they hope to have some new exciting things there in the coming months, but they didn't say what !! So everyone I for one will be there on the 17th SEE YOU ALL THEN.

We are on holiday in Broadstairs staying with relatives. We decided to walk along the beautiful coastline to Ramsgate and stop in the park and eat our lunch on the way back. We headed for what we thought was a public bench which just happened to be by Alison’s. Apart from two other people all of the tables and chairs were unoccupied. We respected the fact that we could not use their tables or chairs but was approached by the owner to say that they own the bench and that it is for their customer use only. I dispute that and shall lodge a complaint with the Council. If I am found to be wrong I apologise but from what I can see the bench was placed on a plinth that was consistent with all of the other public benches along the coastline.
