Nazare Portuguese Cafe & Bar in Medway

Brilliant food, good service and reasonable. The beef kebab was to die for but all the food was good.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. My new favourite place to go in Medway. We went as a family for a birthday celebration and we were treated so well. It is a bonus that the food was truly delicious. If you’re looking for good food, good vibes and a great evening, you must go here.

Excellent service. Very friendly staff. Prompt with requests. A whole new express like being on holiday. Food was amazing. Fantastic portions and reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this café restaurant to friends and family.

We have been meaning to try this place for sometime, finally made it and were not dissapointed. The food was amazing (we had Sea Bream and mixed meat skewer), the staff very helpful and so friendly and the ambience great (loved the music!) It was so good we have booked again!

We had a 3 course special Valentine's meal which was a delight. Lovely food, attentive friendly, service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere made this a memorable meal. We had seafood starters and mains which were brilliant .. superbly cooked and well presented. We would highly recommend Navare and will certainly visit again if we were in the area.

First time eating at Nazare, always looked busy so decided to book, was not disappointed the food was very very good the service was just as impressive & welcoming,. A chilled, relaxed, cosy inviting atmosphere could of stayed there all night. Will be booking again very soon.

A warm and welcoming atmosphere surrounded our delicious Portuguese experience. We both chose dishes of the day and weren't disappointed. Our evening out transported us back to our Portuguese holiday. The friendly proprietor guided us through the menu and was the perfect host. Thank you Cafe Nazaré.

How did I not know this is in Gillingham?! I came across it by chance and decided to stop and have a look. I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely decor and tempting menu and stayed for something to eat. I had the Portuguese barbecue half chicken with rice, chips and salad, with a glass of wine, followed by coffee - all delicious and exceptional value for money. I had a nice chat with Julia, the chef who was so lovely and kind. An altogether wonderful experience - I will bring my friends next time!

Julio and his family offer a very high standard in not only the taste of his beautiful food but in efficiency. Julio's restruant/cafe offer a fantastic menu of Portuguese cousine that range from a tasty bacalhau to a tender t bone. Delicous cakes and puddings are also on offer. Everything is traditionally made and myself and my familly have enjoyed every meal we have devoured there. Everyone welcomes you and makes you feel very comfortable i highly recommend anyone considering to try Portuguese cousine to go to cafe nazare to experience it at its best. Alun, tania and family

Visited several times with family and my children, absolutely wonderful and the food, we had Octopus salad and it was amazing, everything we’ve tried has been expetional. Would recommend over and over again.

Portuguese cafe/ restaurant. Delicious sea bass with fresh vegetables. Friendly, relaxed place, with inside and outside seating. TVs on a Portuguese channel inside.

Fantastic service, great food, lovely feel, very welcoming. Authentic Portuguese feel the second you walk in, great food to eat-in, take away, or even frozen food to take away. The cakes are pretty good too and the owners will happily talk you through the foods.

A good Portuguese café and coffee shop that is great in both staff attentiveness and also flavour of coffee.

Came here for a second time. Coffee is great and the proprietor even better. Just a great place to sit and talk. Far better than the chains.

Great little Café where the proprietor goes out of is way to be helpful. good coffee so much cheaper than the chains. Will visit again.
