Best prawn pad Thai in Brighton! Really delicious, generous portion, prawns were big and fresh tasting. Mother in law had recently had dental surgery and was unable to eat solid foods but wanted to go out, our waitress was so kind and accommodating. She brought out a piece of tofu so she could see if it was soft enough! MIL had Tom Ka without any solids and it was so so delicious - will definitely order this when we next come (with all the usual fixings) Thank you so much for such a lovely dinner !

Ordered online and after being a loyal customer, our order didn’t arrive and we were faced by an aggressive male manager who shouted at us down the phone and refused to send us our food. Also seemed to have lied about sending it to a different address? Their story didn’t add up with timings and just left us confused and upset. Won’t be going here again!

The food at this restaurant is generally delicious, & super fresh. I order it, when I want a treat. However, I get the impression, that maybe these days, they are just too busy to get the order right. My last order, had no rice with it; which I consider quite an integral part of the meal. To be fair, they did send the rice as a separate order. This time, there was 1 crucial thing missing from my crispy seabass mango salad: zero mango, so it was spicy & salty, but with no sweetness. Very much 😞

Recientemente fuimos a este encantador restaurante para una cena familiar y lo encantadora que fue. Todo, desde el personal amable y amable hasta la gran comida auténtica. Muy recomendable. Tenía comida entregada desde entonces y era igual de agradable.

Todo el tiempo mi restaurante favorito. La comida es una buena poción auténtica tailandesa, así como un buen ambiente sin duda volveremos de nuevo.

Best Green curry I ever had yet!

Me encantaba este lugar, un restaurante local. Pero ahora es terrible, parece estar atendido por chicas inexpertas y muy jóvenes, nos sentamos durante siglos tratando de tomar una copa y la camarera nos trató como si fuera una petición extraña. Los entrantes parecían ser justo lo que tenían en la cocina, fritos en masa. Solo uno de los nuestros consiguió su plato fuerte y 30 minutos después los otros dos no habíamos recibido nada, ni siquiera las bebidas que habíamos pedido. Pagamos por lo que habíamos tenido y nos fuimos. No voy a volver, lo cual es una pena.

We’ve been visiting Thai Pad Thai for many years, it’s one of our favourite restaurants in the area. Delicious food, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere. The takeaways are equally as tasty and always arrive promptly. Easily the best Thai restaurant in Seven Dials! Would highly recommend to all.

I'm Thai, doing a master here. I got takeaway food. The Panang curry, Massaman curry, and Pad Si Eiw were delicious! Their taste are similar to in Thailand although they look a bit different(veg in curries). To be fair, it's understandable as some ingredients aren't easy to stock and the restaurant may have to follow the trend which I found many Thai restaurants here tend to decorate their food with lots of vegetable. Compare to the price, this is decent! Worth it! (Potentially)Authentic Thai food. If I have time, I will try to eat in a restaurant. Thai food is very delicious. I really like Massaman. Massaman is very delicious. It's like eating in Thailand.

Absolutely amazing as always!! Me and my family love to come here for great food and a relaxed atmosphere! The service is always impeccable and the food is so flavourful. Highly recommend if looking for the best Thai in Brighton.

We enjoyed a wonderful, delicious Thai dinner and such attentive, kind service! The ladies were absolutely first class hosts. Every dish was absolutely perfect. I’m a lifelong vegetarian and I studied Vegetarian Thai cooking in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This food was extremely authentic and reminded me of my time in Thailand. I highly recommend Thai Pad Thai for its authentic, flavorful Thai food, the wonderful service and its intimate, cozy atmosphere. My friend is not a vegetarian and he equally appreciated his selections. This restaurant is conveniently located just off the Seven Dials in Brighton. I highly recommend Thai Pad Thai and will definitely return . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have family visiting from Thailand, authentic Thai people that themselves cook authentic Thai food. We had a takeaway delivered with Penang Curry’s coconut rice and other assortments. My Thai family said it was the most disgusting thing they had ever eaten and it was no way associated to Thai food, a massive disappointment and a huge letdown from Thai pad Thai! The food was thrown away in the bin as it was so disgusting! As an Englishman, I probably would’ve eaten it but coming from real Thai people visiting in the UK they said the food was some of the worst they’ve ever had. Sorry Thai pad Thai but you need to do better

Worst experience I’ve ever with a takeaway. Waited over 2 hours for our food with no communication from the restaurant (they even stopped answering the phone eventually). The ETA was 30-40 mins, which was false. Unfortunately, when the food did arrive (2 hours late), it wasn’t worth the wait. It was worst Pad Thai I’ve ever eaten, horribly bland and inedible, and the stir fry veg lacked flavour too. Will not be returning and wouldn’t recommend.

Raw chicken on delivery and phone put down on me. Decided to have a Xmas eve Thai. I often buy from here. Family sat round to eat satay which I bought 3 lots and piled on plate. First satay I bit into was raw. Instantly shouted at family to stop eating and found many of them were raw. So lucky I stopped my kids eating this. Rung them and they tried to only refund me for one of the satay. Explained that all 3 are raw the said they would refund and when I said about the lack of overall apology they said they had already apologised and out the phone down on me. Never again. Food safety is my No1 concern with children. I'll never buy from here again. My advice is stay well away.

Went for staff xmas meal last night and had a wonderful time! Lovely food & service - we were a v large group & everyone was so happy! Byob is a big bonus too :) We will be back!

December 2024 update: 5 stars. It used to be a good thai. I myself rated it with 5 stars some time ago. Things have definitely changed. I recently had a dish that should have had prawns in it. I counted 3, which is quite disappointing when you pay over 10 pounds for it. Hopefully things will change again.

We get our takeaways here, consistently excellent, attention to detail, good quality ingredients. Recommend Tamarind Duck, Pad Thai, Jungle Duck .. everything is good though…their tofu is scrumptious..

Really disappointed with the highly priced Tom yum prawn soup. mostly big chunks of mushrooms and a couple of prawns. Should be a starter like Tom yum used to be on most thai menus. Big Tom yum fan.nowhere near what it should be for a main course price. (Who orders Tom yum as a main anyway!)

Most disgusting customer service ever . I’ll never use them again after being a loyal customer for 6 years. Made us wait 2.5 hours and didn’t even bother to offer a discount on arrival and just said busy and we lost your order . Avoid at all cost. How they handled the issue was disgraceful. You want to support a local business they don’t care about customer though

This is the second time I've ordered online from Thai Pad Thai. Both times I have had to call them to chase up the delivery as was nearly an hour late from the time they said it would arrive. Also the food was pretty tasteless this time. I will not be ordering from this place again

Ordered the duck pad Thai for delivery. it was really tasty and there was so much duck I couldn't even finish it! Rare to get both decent portion size and good quality at the moment. I didn't eat my Tom yum soup because I was too full but saved it to eat later. Edited: I ordered from here again but ordered rice. Both portions of rice were hard and inedible and I had to chuck them out. Waste of £7. This has put me off a bit.

I have been to Thai Pad Thai a few times now and it is always a safe bet. The food is delicious and the service is great for both eating in and takeaway. The curries are standout and the crispy sea bass has to be one of the best meals in Brighton for the quality and taste of it. Will definitely be back again.

I ordered the Crying Tiger and it was incredible. The sauce it comes with matched perfectly with the steak. Our server(s) were very friendly and attentive - especially as one of our friends is quite picky. Everything was made to perfection. I definitely recommend this place for food.

Este fue un pedido enviado al hotel donde me alojaba en Brighton esto es el 15 de junio la comida era deliciosa en realidad pero el servicio era terrible de alguna manera terminé con dos montones de reabastecimiento cuando llamé a la llegada le expliqué a la carrera ¿podrías devolverlo? se negó y dejó el artículo atrás cuando llamé al hotel Hablé con una señora asiática me dijo que no devolvemos artículos y podemos ver que es nuestro error y no le cobraremos hoy es el 24 Todavía estoy esperando 14 libras y cambio para ser reembolsado a mi cuenta de uber Lo discuto porque cuando llamé por tercera vez hablé con una mujer inglesa no una mujer de rodillas de fuego y la mujer dijo que la persona que contesta el teléfono antes no tenía derecho a darle esa información tampoco estaba autorizada a decir eso pero eso no es mi culpa Soy cliente y si eso es lo que dijo que no devuelven sin abrir en la bolsa artículos de comida extra que pidieron dos veces y debería ser gratis entonces debería ser gratis si es un error en su nombre y no es mi era Aún así debería obtener un reembolso No estaba dando un reembolso por lo tanto encuentro el servicio al cliente espantoso y para hablar de sus propios miembros del personal fueron recibidos el gerente o no decir que su personal no sabe lo que está haciendo no tiene autoridad y cometió un error por teléfono a un cliente es horroroso

Everything tasty apart from the overcooked fried tempura vegetables sadly they were refried so they were too soft and lost the nutrients.

Can't recommend this place enough. One of my favourite restaurants anywhere. 😋 I always have to start with a soup. I alternate between the Tom Yum and Tom Kha. Followed by a jungle duck stir-fry. I normally find duck too fatty and not too tasty, but here it's absolutely delicious.

Order on deliveroo..food cold, ( maybe not restaurants fault) but also pretty tasteless. Salt & pepper squid had NO seasoning, whole order was bland. Sorry but won't be ordering again!

Came across this gem in Brighton. I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu and it was amazing, authentic taste and presented beautifully. The staff were wonderful and really friendly - will definitely be back to make my way through the huge variety they have on their menu. Highly Recommend!

Staff is friendly but Jesus the pad thai was so bad. How can a place named Thai Pad Thai can make such a bad dish. Dry, tasteless and not fresh.

Great food at this little local independent restaurant but totally destroyed by the lousy service. Our waitress, long platted hair, blondish was just awful. I am sure the owners are lovely but they need to show her how to do her job or she needs to change jobs, we were clearly an inconvenience to her and to top it all they started to mop the floor around us whilst we ate!

Would give 0 but it’s not an option. Honestly the most disgusting excuse for a Thai green curry I’ve ever had. And super sweet. Fail - don’t order (unless a drunk student in which case you may not care.)

Tofu green curry was okay, ordered jasmine rice, but got boiled rice instead.

I've twice ordered via deliveroo and both times delivery has come >1hr after advertised time, and no explanation when I called. I believe they are gaming the system. Steer clear on deliveroo.

Two lovely young ladies are serving excellent food! This is a really secret spot away from the touristy tracks. I recommend the ThaiPatThai, this is a fabulous dish!

My Chicken satay came dry, without any satay sauce. My spicy prawn crackers didn't arrive at all! The Pad sew ew actually arrived as advertised but had zero flavour. I've eaten mud which tasted better. plenty of other places around, don't waste your time eating here.

Celebrated my birthday at Thai Pad Thai last night (06/07/23), with a few friends. All of us enjoyed the food, it was delicious & good value. The staff were totally charming & brought extra cake! The atmosphere was lovely & I’d highly recommend the restaurant. Thank you!

I took my mum here when she was visiting town from abroad and we had an excellent meal made all the better by a fantastic member of staff who made us feel so welcome and well looked after. We both went away taking about how lovely she'd been and it really made the evening. I've been a regular delivery customer for a few years now because the food is great. Highly recommended! Thanks!
