The best restaurants serving Thai food in England

We last visited this restaurant 20 years ago when we lived locally so as we were back in Paignton we decided to return with some friends….testament to the restaurant still being open and still being amazing but what was unbelievable was the same waiter was still there!! He said he had worked there for 22 years…not sure if he remembered me but I definitely remembered him because he was brilliant and made our evening very special!!! The food by the way is outstanding 👌👌👌

Amazing service at this cute lil restaurant!! Tina managed to squeeze us in on a busy Saturday night and even ensured our food was prepared in time for us to rush off for a gig. They were very accommodating to dietary requirements and everything was delicious - I look forward to visiting again next time I’m in Margate!

I've been to many Thai restaurants around the world and this is genuinely the best.

We had a lovely meal at this restaurant but they really need to do something about their metal chairs. They need thicker cushions on the seats. It spoilt the evening by being very uncomfortable.

A great meal at this eatery, very, very good food, the service from the staff was very good, the chef came out in person to ask if everything was to our liking, food so fresh and healthy, we could eat here every night.. kind and thoughtful people. Will defiantly return on our next visit.

Aroy-Dee Thai is a cosy little restaurant in Castle Road (previously Nings). Food is always excellent and with generous helpings. Thoroughly recommend for relaxing atmosphere, but delicious food.

Decided to book a table tonight for me and my wife. Had been before as part of a big family booking and food always lovely. This evening, we thought we would come here instead of our usually more local Thai restaurant in Reigate. It was well worth the extra few miles. The food is superb, and the service is excellent. Great, authentic menu. I could eat this food every night. Delicious.

Booked this for an evening meal after a long day travelling. We booked the table for 19.15 and we were on time. We were sat at the table for approx 15 mins and we were asked to move to another table so they could accommodate a party of six. We agreed with no problem. We had our order taken for food. Then the problem began. We waited until 20.30 before our starter came. We asked 3 times during this time and were told on each occasion it would be out next. The food when it eventually arrived was beautiful. I would go back but not until I have got over how bad the service was.

Ordered three times, first time was pricey but great, second time food took ages and turned up cold, third time food never showed up and when i contacted them, the owner was rude and obstructive in any resolution, basically had to get refunded by just eat, overpriced, bad service

Amazing home cooked Thai food. We come regularly. Great service, generous portions and really reasonable prices. Only a tiny place but it’s so authentic. Staff are so friendly

Usually we have a good experience however, the curries we had were very wet (wetter than usual) and we ordered spicy basil noodles with tofu and it came with just a tofu stir fry.

Lovely friendly service but not great selection of drinks. Nice outdoor seating area. Clientele seemed to be of the 50+ demographic which is fine but perhaps if you are a younger group then I would not say this would be the place to meet contemporaries.
