The fish and chips is great, but the takeaway part is far too slow. There’s just too many people but that’s not their fault,

food arrived 2hours after ordering. it was cold and had to be reheated. not overly impressed. I phoned at the latest time it was to be delivered and was told it would be with us in 5-10 min. the face that they are at least 10 min drive away.... it arrived 25mi. after my call. not happy

Had a giant smoked sausage. What a feast

Asked for a chicken kebab, was given a cold donner. The craftsmanship meant the food spilled out of the wrap straight out of the foil. I paid £5.20 to immediately throw a poorly wrapped, cold kebab in the bin. Where is the justice?

Ordered from here a few times. delish food. warm when delivered and will absolutely be going back

Gezellige pub maar het eten is niet verschrikkelijk lekker, matig. Is wel leuk echt lokale pup met lokale mensen. We kwamen geen enkele toeristen tegen. En er wordt wel echt sport gekeken

Called in for tea whilst staying at Thurso Bay campsite. Cod, chips and curry were quite nice but 1/4 of the fish was rock hard and inedible. Battered sausage had very soggy batter. Portions quite small for £30. Had to wait quite a long time.

I am local and buy from this takeaway 4-5 times a year as a treat to save me cooking. Not I to deep fried food but they have a good selection of alternatives. The last time I was there the quality had gone down a bit but this time it was utter sh*te. The sauce on my dish was so watery that it all pi**ed out of the wrapping onto my car seat before I got home and then over my clothes leaving the actual food almost dry meaning I actually had to add some when I got home to regain some flavour. Sorry looking salad and flavour less food with zero pride or care given to preparing it and service without a smile. If I hadn't been so hungry and had a bit of cooked fish in the fridge to add to enhance it I would have thrown it straight in the bin. Such a pity because it used to be very good.

Not impressed. Visiting area for first time, saw lovely looking pub so i entered and enquired about lunch. Asked to see menu. Young lady walked away and after 10 minutes waiting i gave up. Pub was empty except for one table. So not surprised if thats the way potential customers are treated. I was in a party of 4 and we ended up having a very nice lunch at the theatre opposite the pub.

Just home from a beautiful tapas meal. We went for the mixed tapas, the chef decided what to cook once you order. If you’ve never tried tapas before, this is a great introduction, it was amazing! There were meatballs, mussels, mushrooms, spicy sausage, calamari and chicken to name a few. There was more than enough for 4 of us, and my parents who never had tapas before loved it! Can’t wait come to back!

Waited forever for two standard fish suppers. £21.60?? Wasn’t worth waiting for. Soft soggy undercooked batter, and BONES, in a fish fillet?? Overpriced rubbish, and young staff who hadn’t a clue what they were doing
